Delicious breakfast, fairly inexpensive. Location three short blocks from central square. Excellent shower, stone floor and walls and easy to adjust. Parking available, but we found space on street a few metres away when we arrived and stayed there. Valladolid said to be comparatively safe city. Beautiful tropical courtyard with pool.

Not that they can do anything about it, but this was another lodging in Yucatan that asked you not to put toilet paper in toilet, but in wastebasket beside it. The desk clerk said there were mosquitoes, so we used spray around window shutters (no glass) and burned a mosquito coil. We saw no mosquitoes.

Gorgeous place. Lovely spot by the pool to refresh and get a bit of shade with a good book. Breakfast was tasty and very reasonable for those mornings when you just want to start the day gently. Location is excellent. Lovely little local square next to the hotel, lots of food options, and you’re a very short walk into the centre. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was delightful. All in all I couldn’t fault it. Was there with friends who had a separate room and we were all very happy and have fallen in love with Valladolid and it’s gorgeous people.

The hotel wraps around a beautiful courtyard, sounds of the city are muted out and instead you hear the local birds. Our room was upstairs, with windows opening into the courtyard and a small balcony. The room was large with two comfy beds; the bathroom was elegant. We enjoyed the fresh air from the windows and door being open, instead of using the air conditioner. Breakfast could be purchased, and was in the courtyard with good tables and chairs, a very tasty menu. The pool area had comfy seating, as did a small room off the lobby. The central location was so great! Near to the zocalo and cathedral, yet two local parks were closer and had lively events and entertainment.

The Hotel is in a very charming colonial style yet modern furnishings, spotlessly clean, and an oasis of calm including huge mango trees in the courtyard. It feels very private with the limited number of rooms, which in turn are spacious and very comfortable. We got a baby cot immediately despite not having pre arranged. Our stay was fantastic and among the best hotels on our 3 week trip with 3 small kids. Staff exceptionally friendly as well. Great location.

Only thing to improve could be the cleanliness and usability of the little private terrace our room had. A pity that it wasn’t really inviting to relax there as the mattress on the lounge chair was a bit old and overall needs a bit refreshing.

Very good location in the centre of town on an attractive street within walking distance of all the main attractions. Hotel itself is very attractively decorated and has a riad-like feel with a lovely green courtyard with pool. We did not end up using the pool or the breakfast, but both seemed inviting at a glance. Rooms were fairly simply decorated, but perfectly fine and clean. Appreciated a water cooler available from which to fill up water bottles for free as well.

Room decor could use a little bit more attention, especially in contrast to the rest of the hotel facilities, it felt quite bare. Would also have preferred one larger double bed instead of two narrower ones. Also missed having a safe in the room to store valuables. There is no parking available by the hotel but there are plenty of options to park your car along the road, or in nearby public carparks (2 minute walk) for free.

The concierge was super friendly, and welcoming. Upon arrival, he came out to offer to help take our belongings into the hotel. The location is the best! Wide street, colorful buildings, a park a few steps from the hotel. After staying on 5 other places previously, this by far is our favorite. There is a bakery/restaurant just a few steps away. Burrito Amor restaurant is across the street as well. The hotel outdoor area is calming and beautiful. The pool is hugged by beautiful landscape. We stayed in suite doña Lucy and we loved it. It was my husband and I and my 10 month old baby. The room was large, colonial with high ceilings, and original pasta tile floors. Evenrhough is at the front of the hotel, we heard no noise and got great rest. I would highly recommend this hotel. It is only a few blocks from Plaza. I would say the perfect location. I know we will be back in the near future. Thank you Casa Valladolid for making our trip very memorable.

Location was 10 mins from the main square in a pretty, quiet area near a sitting out park area 2 mins walk away. The pool area was lovely and pleasant, ideal for dipping after a hot travel day. The room and bathroom were super clean, deco perfect for the area and country, plus everything worked with a fridge provided.

It would have been nice if there was a board of information in the breakfast area where travellers may want to share taxi trips to visits places to reduce costs. Information on getting to and from Cancun Airport would also have been helpful other than taking a taxi.

We loved everything. The staff were so great and provided us with a map including recommendations. (Definitely go to Idilio for dinner.) The hotel grounds were beautiful and so clean. The rooms were large and clean. Bonus was that this was our first HOT shower with great water pressure while in Mexico. This hotel exceeded expectations and was great value for money.

It was clean, beautiful, stylish, the staff were so kind & accommodating, lovely hammocks (one in our room & outside) & kissing chairs outside too! Loved the pool, with its blue lights at night. Really clean! Great shampoo etc in bathroom. So fresh & big bed & little fridge - everything was just amazing basically! Also great location!! Air con was such a treat.

Nothing, it was absolutely wonderful. There was a tiny leak in the bathroom but nothing major at all that’s the only thing I could possibly fault!
