Fantastic location for seeing the sites of Valladolid. Easy parking. Lovely staff. Basic but comfortable rooms including comfortable bed. For the value, would stay here again despite the "quirks". We had 2 rooms - one upstairs and one by the garden - upstairs room definitely more spacious.

Lots of "quirky" things like having to follow instructions and run the hot water for 5 minutes before it gets hot. Dehumidifier in room to keep damp out had a loose connection and needed emptying before it worked. Garden room felt like it was IN the garden - if anyone else was in the garden could hear everything they said (definitely take a room upstairs).

We took a side trip from a stay in Cancun to spend time in the Vallalodid area, and decided to relocate there so that we would be closer to the sights we wanted to see. Hotel Colonial Zaci was the perfect option for us. It has comfortable rooms and a spectacular location close to Parque Principale, a variety of wonderful restaurants and cafes. The private parking made for safe parking of our rental vehicle and was easy to access. Most notably, when one of our group members left some personal belongings behind, including a passport, the hotel went above and beyond to help us get them shipped back to Cancun so we didn't need to drive all the way back to Vallalodid. I highly recommend this property.

Some neighbourhood noise on the roads but nothing we didn't expect. Ear plugs and some white noise helped us sleep soundly.

The hotel is very trendy. Staff were fine but did nothing extra. Junior suite is large with a great terrace and a california king bed that was extremely comfortable.Great terrace on the roof to watch the sunset. Location 1 block from the grand plaza & zocala is excellent.

Booked the junior suite...poor lighting and no chair/desk or workspace. The hotel is missing the little things for a higher rating. A small coffee machine in the room would be nice. Hot water is only luke warm and requires patience (old building).

Nicely renovated old building, very close to the centre of Valladolid. We had a bigger room, with private balcony. The inner courtyard is super cozy. The AC worked perfectly.

During the night we heard loud noises of TV, music, or chatting coming from the small atrium. We were too tired to say anything about it, and used earplugs, but it was annoying.

Great location. Close to the bus station and the main square. Short walk to cenote Zaci. Valladolid has lots to recommend it and this is well placed for a town centre visit.

Very strictly 3pm check in. Arrived 20 mins early and had to wait along with others for rooms to be ‘ready’. Otherwise perfect for our needs.

The location is very good, near the city center. The hotel is nice, but looks nicer on the pictures.

We arrived aprox. one hour before the check in, it was extremely hot (41C degrees), we were with many bags and tired. The staff made us to wait until the last minute do to the check in, even if the room was already ready.

Nice small hotel located steps away from the main square Little bit loud as it is located next to the main street with cars passing all the time. Room could have been cleaner. Be aware there is no elevator

It’s well-located centrally in Valladolid, the rooms are spacious, there’s coffee on demand and a water dispenser downstairs. Rooms have A/C and the shower is spacious too. Overall very good value for money.

Not much, just one day we used their help to get a laundry service which was not cheap (300 pesos for a bag to wash) and came back pretty messy and crumbly. Our complaint stayed rather unnoticed.

this location is perfect, only 2 minutes from the city center + they have a parking space across the street which is really nice if you travel by car. the room was nice as well, very big and comfortable. also a nice little rooftop where we sat each evening playing cards (open till 10 pm, but perfect for sunset!)

The friendly reception staff, the stool by our room door outside on the landing, the tourism magazines and leaflets by the reception, the festive Christmas tree and decorations in the reception area, and the (free to use) water machine, coffee machine and biscuits jar.

The loudness of the air conditioning, and the fact that the staff entered the room when we put a "don't disturb" sign on the door.
