Very charming hotel in the center of Valladolid. The rooms are well decorated, clean and spacious. The atmosphere is chilled. The pool area is very beautiful. There are many restaurants walking distance. The staff was very kind and helpful.

We had the junior suite, as far as I understood all this type of rooms are facing the street, which can be noisy at night, not a big issue for us, but useful to know. Moreover, at least at the moment there is no restaurant in the property, so there is no breakfast and no possibility to eat/drink something while at the pool, this could be a huge improvement if the hotel could organize it.

We had a corner room with a balcony over the street, we had no problems with noise or light. It was a large and comfortable room with a table, 2 chairs, armoire and mini fridge. There was a large bathroom as well. It was an easy walk up 2 flights of stairs through the pool area. The pool area itself was well kept and had surrounding gardens and the property itself had a classic feel with a large amount of art and greenery. The location to the plaza was a quick 5 minute walk with many surrounding stores, restaurants and a 10 minute walk to Cenote Zaci. On site parking too!

Not much to dampen this experience or stop us from either recommending this site or returning. I could offer that the two chairs in the room felt as if they would not support our weight so we used the benches instead. The room could have used a rug to soften the space up.

Only two blocks from the zocalo (main square), the hotel is well maintained, especially the courtyard that has lots of trees and a small pool which was a much welcomed relief from the heat. The open air hallways are nicely decorated and added a touch of elegance. Most of the staff spoke plenty of english which helped and were very friendly and they answered all our questions with a smile. Both the room and bathroom were spacious and the beds firm but comfortable. The a/c and fan worked well and kept us cool during the heat wave. Both the small and big bus stations and a grocery store were a couple of blocks away as well as plenty of restaurants around the square.

No elevator but that is to be expected in an historic property.

Well situated close to Valladolid’s center, it allows you to visit the town by foot without problems! Safe inside parking, full for the most of the time, but if you leave the keys at the reception they take care of car and they find a space for you! The receptionist was very patient and helpful. Rooms are very big and the king bed comfortable! The inside courtyard is very beautiful with trees and green that covers you from the heat! The firs hotel in all my travel that has line to hang clothes to dry!

The pool wasn’t in function and the water was not clear. People were using it anyway but was a little dirty. The breakdown of wifi

The whole hotel is beautifully decorated with artistic, classical art and lovely furniture. It is a truly enchanting experience to be there. My children loved walking around looking at the displays and small shrine downstairs. The room was clean and had good quality, beautiful furnishings. The pool was so pretty and well maintained, located within an amazing courtyard of tropical plants and singing birds. The hotel had many families with small children staying, which was so nice since we were there with our two young daughters. It was safe and quiet. All staff were helpful and courteous and provided any requested information thoroughly. I wish I could have stayed for several weeks! The shower was good, tv was nice, location was excellent for walking the town, Valladolid is a beautiful, walkable city where days can float away easily and pleasantly.

We honestly liked everything, and my kids are ready to go back as soon as we can!

Lovely oasis in a fantastic location near the centre. We really enjoyed our stay here. Nice pool area. Valladolid is also just lovely. Walking around in the evening with young children was totally fine, and we could also walk back to the hotel after fun activities like the nightly light show at the Cathedral. For kids, there is also a nice public playground nearby, see photo. (You can find it down the yellow walled walking street which you will see if you turn left as you leave the hotel)

For us the beds were a bit on the small side for 2 adults, but we are tall (6ft +). Otherwise everything was really great!

What a gem this hotel is! Very well located and only a few blocks of the city centre. It is excellent value for money, the rooms are incredibly clean, the pool is amazing and the staff are lovely and very friendly. It has a private car park if you are driving there. It does not have a restaurant so no breakfast is included, but we didn't mind as we had an excellent breakfast at La Casa Natural which serves delicious fresh breakfasts and juices at very affordable prices and it is only 2min walk from the hotel. We only stayed one night and we really wish we had stayed longer because we absolutely loved our stay there and hope to be back some time soon!

This is our second time in 5 years staying with this hotel. It's as wonderful as we remembered! The pool fountains weren't on, but that's okay because we still enjoyed it! Our room was on the bottom floor and had access to a small garden out back, but no seating and there was a lot of construction type trash out there that was not beautiful (glass, tarps, tools, etc). Excellent walking location for almost everywhere in Valladolid, staff was wonderful and patient with my broken Spanish and the showers were nice and warm! Next time I'm in Valladolid, I'm checking if this hotel has availability first.

The beds are really hard and both of us woke up with hurt necks and backs. It would also be nice to offer a few pastries and coffee in the lobby in the mornings.

Absolutely perfect for our needs. The hotel is very centrally located, yet was quiet and peaceful (a priority for me). Loved the pretty courtyard, and the outer courtyard with it's little chapel. The room was very spacious, and the bathroom (great shower), all exceptionally clean and tidy and modern feeling but still with a traditional slant. Staff were friendly and helpful. Parking is tight and can be tricky to reverse into when road is busy, with double or triple parking needed, but the staff take your key and move the cars around as required - plus they have free overflow parking in a nearby carpark, but not ideal if you have large cases. Great value for money stay. Both very happy with our choice and highly recommend. No need to attach photos, you get exactly what you see!

Nothing, except i'm fussy about lighting and the rooms would benefit from softer, warmer lights as opposed to very white lighting which to me always feels cold and clinical. Just my taste and so only very minor gripe!

It is just an incredibly beautiful old palace that looks like a monastery. The common areas are very nicely decorated and the swimming pool, although small, it is useful to keep the kids entertained. The car parking is a bonus. And the location is just excellent to enjoy Valladolid.

We got some clothes stolen from the room, presumably by the cleaning service. The front desk was not helpful in trying to solve the problem, they kept saying that the manager would talk to us but he never did.
