Very cute little Dar with 3 Rooms on the 2nd floor, a rooftop restaurant and a lounge downstairs. Beautifully designed in earthy colours. Nice and comfortable bathroom, big and comfy bed. A bit tricky to find, but the location near the blue gate is fabulous. Staff is young and very nice and helpful. Food is good, lots of vegetarian options, modern style cuisine. They recommend a hamam experience in another Riad, which was a good choice after a long day in the Medina.

The only little disadvantage: the rooftop restaurant is rightly quite popular, so there is some "traffic" and music in the house until 11pm which you can't avoid. After that it is a quite place, especially in the morning.

Nice place in the center of the Medina. 5 minutes walk from the blue gate, and the staff helped us with our luggage. Breakfasts were good and varied everyday. Very nice to have a restaurant on site after a busy day in the city. We were concerned about the noise at first, but the restaurant didn’t close too late, and from our bedroom the sound from the terrasse was muffled under the AC.

Room was fairly clean, although we still had the trash from de previous guest and the glassware in the kitchen was questionably clean. The terrasse of the room is also part of the restaurant, so you may not have the privacy you are looking for.

Dar Rafti is beautiful and perfectly located in the heart of the medina. The room was very comfortable and clean. The staff were lovely—super helpful and friendly, always ready to assist. We also had some delicious meals there. I would definitely book here again. Highly recommended.

The staff, especially Usama, were always cheerful and accommodating. Having one of the best restaurants in the Medina was a definite plus. We needed to make a somewhat complicated transfer and to personalize a standard private excursion and the staff handled both without breaking stride. I should add that the breakfasts were also great.

It is worth noting, and this applies to pretty much anywhere in the Medina, that you should make effort to minimize luggage. This is not a dislike, only a helpful suggestion.

As an interior designer, I loved this place. The terrace room gave my son and me enough space to feel comfortable. We absolutely loved the breakfast and the restaurant. The service staff was so kind and helpful. It was the most memorable and enjoyable place out of the three other places we stayed in Fez. Very convenient to the Blue Gate and a short stroll to excellent restaurants and shops. I would happily stay here longer than the two nights that we did. The owner redesigned this home and restaurant with much care for the austere and the natural. Nice stay, but if you have issues climbing upstairs it will be a bit challenging, for me it was a good workout! Enjoy it.

The staff was super friendly and really made me feel like home. Stayed three nights but would have loved to stay for longer. Clean and cozy and the rooftop restaurant has a nice vibe and beuatiful views in the morning and night. Can only warmly recommend!

A cool and quiet escape from the hustle and bustle of the Medina, run by a truly hospitable and friendly team of hosts. The beautiful simplicity of the riad's construction and decor makes it an all the more cosy getaway experience.

Beautiful decor. Centrally located. Nice terrace with very good food.

Room is very close to the restaurant terrace and it might be noisy sometimes. No problem for us.

Location very convenient to parking and the medina. Staff were all kind, helpful, pleasant.

Room too dark--need better lighting.
