Very homely, quite and pittoresque hotel with a roofed courtyard, which offers various couches to relax and have the sweet tasting breakfast after 8. The courtyard has marvelous ceiling decorations made of wood carvings and plastering. The Dar is located in the old town of Fès close to Batha place and not far from Ban Bou Jeloud. You can also unwind on the rooftop on sun loungers or in a small lounge.

The room is relatively dark. The private hamam in the hotel is expensive, compared to alternative historic public locations in town. Due to the comparably low height of the building and the high railings, the rooftop does not offer the best view on the town.

Riad Dar Skalli was a great place to stay. The staff were friendly and very helpful, assisting us to navigate the markets. The accommodation itself is close enough to the markets to be super convenient, but far enough away (5min walk) for it to be quiet at night. The room is exactly as described in the pictures, a tasty breakfast was provided daily and we enjoyed tea on the roof terrace. Our room had air-conditioning, a warm shower, and a comfortable bed. Hind also arranged our airport transfers, which all worked very smoothly. I would highly recommend others stay here and I would be very happy to visit again.

Affordable luxury within part of a 14th century palace. Amazing rooms, friendly staff, a good continental breakfast with eggs and fresh bread / pastries every morning. Situated on the edge of the Medina so good for Taxis, while within easy walking distance of all the sights of Fez. My wife had a massage in the Riad's own spa, we also enjoyed a very good meal that the Riad prepared one of the evenings. Highly Recommended, we will definitely go back when we return to Fez.

We absolutely loved the stay - the personnel was really friendly and welcoming, and constantly asked if everything's okay and if there's anything they could do. The service was without exceptions quick and personalized. The decor of the place is breathtaking. The breakfast was delicious. I would also recommend to have dinner at the riad, it was worth the price.

We stayed at a suite on the ground floor, and there's no noise cancellation - take your earplugs with you if you have problems sleeping with noise.

The Riad is in the center of the Medina but very quiet. Breakfast is abundant and home-made. We asked if we could anticipate the breakfast one day and the staff kindly allowed It. Also, we had the pleasure to have dinner in the Riad and the food was incredibly good. We had the best beef tajine of all our holiday. Highly recommended Riad.

The Riad preserves its ancient beauty, the only small thing I would improve Is the toilette (renew the shower or put more light in the toilette to make the environment more comfortable).

The stay was great! A perfect location in the Medina which was near everything but gave us a little breathing room from the chaos of the lower Medina. The staff were excellent, breakfast was good, and the building is beautiful. Couldn’t be happier!

The atmosphere, the professionalism of the staff how they treat the guest were just amazing. All the requests are fulfilled in very high level. The room was perfectly furnished, its size was great. The kitchen is also the jewel of the Riad, incredible. During our stay we ate only there and all was faboulous. Reservation is requested! The Hamam is great after a long journey, Fatima is a treasure. Arsand was always there from early morning till late night. At last but not least Hind, who from the moment of the reservation has sent messages, proposals, has replied immediately to all our request, solved our problems. We were lucky to find Riad Skalli and if we go back we stay there for sure.

The team at the Riad was incredibly kind, helpful and lovely! As beautiful and comfortable as the Riad was, the person who was taking care of us there was definitely the highlight. The Breakfast was delicious. The Riad itself was beautiful and the decor is really nicely done. The location was great with parking not too far as we had been driving around Morocco. All in all I strongly recommend this Riad!

We got a bit unlucky as we had a room that was overlooking some road work so we got woken up in the morning from some noise on the 2 mornings we were there. I think that work seemed quick so I think it should be completed by now and not an issue for future guests. There was also a bit of a leak in the ceiling one night with water dripping from the ceiling. Seems like it was from the room above us and when we brought it to the attention of the team they immediately looked into it for us. So overall i don’t think it’s anything to worry about and I think it was really a great stay!

Best breakfasts we have had in Morocco. Everything is freshly made onsite by the lovely kitchen staff. They always lit the gas heaters for us in the mornings to ensure we weren't cold while eating. All the staff were very helpful and really invested in us having a good time while we were in Fez. Our room was easy to heat and there was plenty of hot water. We really liked the location as it was nice and close to medina but also near the road which made it easy to get taxis and to manage with our bags. Would definitely recommend.
