We liked everything about this place! Truly a hidden gem. Yes, it's a bit complicated to arrive to it but once you've figured out the alleys, you'll have no problem. We had the Lotus room, on the ground floor. A beautiful and spacious room with a big, comfy bed, authentic Moroccan decor and coloured glass windows. The bathroom was the highlight of our room. You have a deer and a lion shaped faucet, a unique design of the bathtub and white and blue tiles on the floor. The toilet has a smart cover and although the remote didn't work, I absolutely enjoyed the warm seat. Breakfast and tea time were two things we were looking forward to each day. Please take in consideration that most days it's going to be about 70-80% sweet. We asked for some cheese a few days to balance it out and one day we received it, the second day they said that they didn't have any. Upon arrival we were greeted with complimentary mint tea and one evening we were even invited into the kitchen to learn how to make it ourselves. I loved the hospitality! I saw that they also serve Tagine for lunch/dinner for 15 euros/person and they even have a cooking class for 30 euros. We didn't experience these two options, just an fyi. There is a terrace at the top floor with a bit of a view over Jemaa El Fnaa but the noise coming from it can be a bit tiring. All in all, we felt really nice here, all of the staff is sweet, kind, respectful and ready to help with anything you might need. Hospitality at its finest! Congratulations!

If you know that you're a fussy sleeper, ask for an upper floor room. The noise from the breakfast area, the constant water dropping in the fountains and the two big windows that you cannot cover with anything can have a negative impact on your sleep. I brought a sleeping mask and earplugs and it was ok.

The location was fabulous, one minute walk to the main market square. The room was excellent, very comfortable bed and the deco was in keeping with the moroccan theme. The rooftop was the WOW factor of the Riad. The perfect place to have mint tea and watch the sunset. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Our stay was very enjoyable for the most part. The breakfast was ok, would be nice to have some fruit and less bread or pancakes. The food was plentiful and it was a bit too much for us. We don't like to waste food. We would of prefer if we were given a choice instead the whole selection that was on offer!

From the moment we stepped through the doors of Riad Persephone, we knew we had found something truly special. Nestled in the heart of Marrakech’s medina, this charming riad was a serene oasis away from the bustle of the city streets. The hospitality was beyond exceptional. The staff made us feel like family—warm, welcoming, and always ready to help with anything from directions to recommendations. Every detail was attended to with care, and their local knowledge made a huge difference in how we experienced the city. The riad itself was beautifully decorated in traditional Moroccan style, with intricate tilework, cozy corners, and a peaceful courtyard that invited us to slow down and soak it all in. Our room was spotless, comfortable, and full of character, with thoughtful touches that made it feel like a home away from home. One of the highlights of our stay was the incredible hammam experience followed by a deeply relaxing massage. It was the perfect way to unwind and immerse ourselves in Moroccan wellness traditions. We left feeling refreshed, restored, and completely pampered. Location-wise, Riad Persephone was ideal: tucked into a quiet street but just a short walk from key attractions like Jemaa el-Fnaa, and the souks We can’t recommend Riad Persephone highly enough.

We had a truly unforgettable stay at Riad Persephone. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with such warmth and kindness—it immediately felt like home. The riad itself is incredibly beautiful, full of charm and serenity, with a spiritual and peaceful energy that makes you feel at ease the moment you step inside. Every detail is thoughtfully curated, and the ambiance is both authentic and relaxing. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and special. A heartfelt thank you to Amel, whose kindness, attentiveness, and genuine care made our experience even more memorable. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a soulful and beautiful place to stay in Marrakech. We’ll definitely be coming back!

The staff were all great. Friendly, welcoming and helpful. The location was brilliant....so near to the city centre. The roof terrace was a great place to relax and hear the action in the square. The breakfasts were great. We liked the traditional layout of the riad....so much more authentic than a modern hotel.

There was nothing to dislike. Because we travelled so early in the year the courtyards were cold in the morning. Blankets and wooly hats at breakfast but they would be wonderfully cool in high summer. We had to change rooms after one night....apparently to the best room....which wasn't as good as the first. I'm not a fan of the bath and bed in the same room or no door on the toilet but not a big deal.

Beautiful riad, with lovely interior decor and atmosphere; the pool was beautiful and the inner garden had a tortoise and a cat. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Good views from the rooftop, perfect to enjoy a few glasses of Moroccan tea. Very conveniently located, just a minute away from the market square and very close within walking distance of other attractions, such as the Bahia Palace or the El Badi Palace, yet in a very quiet area away from all the bustle and noise.

The air conditioning was working, but wasn't really cooling (I'm guessing it was out of refrigerant substance), but at least worked as a fan. It also would have been nice to be able to crack open the bathroom window, for some ventilation. There was only cold water in the bathroom, which we didn't mind because it was very hot outside so cold showers were pleasant, but it might be useful to know.

We stayed in the most gorgeous, romantic room. It featured classic Moroccan style with the shower encapsulated in a blue dome, and the bed showered in Moroccan lanterns. I chose this Riad because of the room. The staff were amazing - all so kind, additionally, we met the owner who told us the back story of this Riad and that was a lovely accompaniment. The breakfast (inc in price) was lovely, ans varied throughout our stay. The grounds were well kept, beautiful and quite often we were the only two making use of the facilities - very private feeling.

Absolutely nothing - it was all perfect.

Our room on the top of the hotel with the terrace and jacuzzi was awesome!..we really enjoyed to stay in this hotel. Breakfast also was nice with kind and friendly ladies around. Thank you so much for the service. Great location just walking distance to the the local market, restaurants, bank, shops, and local park. great hotel, great breakfast. We will coming back again for sure. Thank you 🙏 we had such a great holiday in Marrakech 😘😍

While staying there, some renovated room had going on. So little bit dusty..luckily we staying on the top floor. So no problem for us. The indoor swimming pool at the ground floor is just too cold (especially when we was there in January). So we mostly spent our time at the jacuzzi instead.

Everything about Riad Persephone was exceptional. The main highlights include the top tier service provided by Anouar who is always attentive and arranging activities and suggestions for travelling in Morocco. All hours of the night he is available to meet the needs of guests. I also enjoyed the amazing cooking from Guizlane. Of all the restaurants in Marrakech I went to, I would keep finding myself coming back to the Riad for meals. Everyone in the Riad is accomodating, the rooms are accurate to the advertising and the location is perfect.
