The staff is very helpful, engaging, and friendly. They fulfill your wishes with kindness and patience. We especially appreciate Hayat, Ayoub and Youssef for their attentiveness. The Riad is located in the old town, from where you can easily reach many tourist attractions on foot and observe the daily life of local people in Marrakech. A mosque is also nearby, and I was impressed by the melodic and meditative muezzin’s calls at certain times while sitting in the courtyard.

Breakfast, consisting of bread, butter, honey, strawberry jam, pie, and occasionally a boiled egg, pancakes, yogurt, or cut fruit in a glass, remained almost the same throughout our 7-day stay. Although breakfast is included, introducing more variety, perhaps on a three-day rotation, could significantly enhance the value of the Riad. While the bedrooms are clean, the kitchen could be better organized and would benefit from some renovation. The furniture and utensils are quite old and in some cases appear unhygienic.

The staff were honestly amazing. Youseff was very helpful, assisted with recommendations, learning languages, catering to our every need. Hayat is exceptional, accomodating and kind. Made sure the room was tidy upon our return from our days out. Mohammad was lovely assisting a clothing crisis and got us a pin. He provided us with local information and was very helpful. Love that the rooms locked and the front door is locked. Feels safe and secure. Located 15/20minutes from the souk. Breakfast was different everday. Overall good experience.

The shower head kept falling off and the pool was a small.

Location was very good. Not too far from the square (about 20 minutes) and amidst the locals. Google Maps helped to find the way :) It's good value for money. Room was cleaned every day. Lovely shower. Ismael is a wonderful host!

The bed in my room consisted of 2 small mattresses instead of 1 big mattress, so for me it was not very comfortable. I had the room adjacent to the lobby which was a bit noisy. No windows to let in some fresh air. The pictures on Booking must be from a couple of years ago, not very accurate anymore.

My friend and I were extremely satisfied with the accommodation. The room was super authentic and cozy. Especially the bathroom was really beautiful. By far the best thing about our stay at the Riad pourpre medina was the employees Ismail and Youssef. These two are really dedicated to their work and they helped us a lot. Ismail helped us with car rental and gave us many recommendations about the city. He even shared his mobile number with us so that we can ask him questions anytime. Youssef helped us with printing our tickets and since we had to check out early in the morning he prepared breakfast accordingly at 6 in the morning. The Riad itself was great but these two gentleman gave us an extraordinary service. Thank you Youssef and Ismail!

Everything was good.

Ismail and Hassan made this place a really lovely stay. Both were so helpful, kind and thoughtful, helping us out whenever we needed without any pressure to do certain tours etc which we have had at other Riads. They also went above and beyond for us - helping my girlfriend out when she had her drink spiked during a night out in Marrakech, and even doing our laundry without us even asking! The Riad itself is very nice, with a lovely roof terrace and a nice (albeit small) swimming pool to cool off in. There are a lot of reviews about the location being a bit dodgy, and we thought that as well at first, but we quickly realised it was very safe and we eventually grew fond of it! It is also close to all the main attractions but not too close that you can still have some peace and quiet. Would definitely recommend this place.

place is very nice and clean located 15 mins walk from the main square. the rooftop view is amazing especially during the sunset. our room was being cleaned every day and breakfast was very nice. they serve a very good coffee and selection of local breads and cakes with jams and cheese. riad is very quiet. the only thing you can hear are singing birds. its a contrast with a busy street around the corner where you come out on the road its a chaos :) the concierge guys were really amazing and helpful.

the area is full of scammers and people who want to take advantage of you. they tell you "the road is closed" hoping to lead you somewhere else and scam you. our air conditioning was very poor. 18C was the lowest and in the evening it was cooler outside than inside of our room.

My stay at Riad Pourpre Marrakesh was incredible. Everything was spotless, and the atmosphere was both peaceful and welcoming. I was greeted with traditional Moroccan tea upon arrival, which set the tone for a warm and pleasant experience. The location is perfect—just a short walk from the old Medina, where you can easily get lost in its charm and beauty. Special thanks to Youssef and Ismail for their outstanding hospitality and kindness. They made my stay even more memorable. Highly recommended!

The Riad is walking distance from the Markets and from the tourist spots of Marrakech. Place is clean. They serve nice breakfast everyday. Worth every penny of your stay. Staff were very nice and accommodating especially Mohamed, Nora and Ismail. They made sure all our needs were taken cared of during the whole of our stay!! Very friendly and even suggested where are best place to go to in the city.

The best thing about this riad is the staff who ensure all the guests are happy and safe. Also, I liked very much the Riad itself, our room was big enough and it was very clean. I read some reviews about the location, but in my opinion the Riad is located in one of the best areas for tourists, there are 15 min walking to Jeema El Fnaa with a lot of good Restaurants around (e.g Le Slimana, Dar Tazi). In the first day we got lost on our way back to the Riad and someone from the staff, I don’t remember his name, offered to come and get us from the principal road. He even gave us his phone number to call him whenever we need. I was really impressed about the kindness of these people, they really made me feel welcome. Overall it was an amazing trip! Many thanks to the staff, you are the soul of this beautiful Riad!

The only recommendation I have is about the breakfast, it could have more diversity.

The property was beautiful. Room very comfortable and the bed was excellent. I had such good sleeps there. The staff Nora and Ismail were exceptionally good. They could not do enough for me. Kept me informed about things going on in the area and made me feel so welcome from the moment I arrived. Amazing customer service.

I can’t complain about anything.
