We had an absolutely lovely stay at this riad during our trip to Marrakesh. My wife and I were impressed by the warm and welcoming atmosphere. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our comfort, always attentive to our needs and quick to assist with any requests. The breakfast was a true highlight—fresh, delicious with a wonderful variety of traditional Moroccan flavors. The riad itself was beautifully maintained, offering a peaceful escape from the bustling medina while still being conveniently located. We left with unforgettable memories and would highly recommend this gem to anyone visiting Marrakesh!

The only area that could be improved is the cleanliness, as some details were overlooked during our stay. However, this didn’t detract too much from the overall experience.

The welcome from the staff was wonderful and their kindness remarkable, especially Leila and Ikram. They were ready to answer any questions we had at any time and very helpful with the information they gave us. The breakfast on the roof top Terrace was a real pleasure every morning and they brought me extra coffee every day after my initial request. They were also incredibly flexible about the time of breakfast and made it individually for the different residents at whatever time they asked for it. The interior courtyard is really very pretty and very typical of Moroccan architecture. Our room was regularly cleaned. The property was very well situated. It took us a couple of days to learn the rather complicated route out of the Kasbah but it added to the fun. once you knew it it was very easy and it was a real advantage to be away from the noise and bustle of the main streets. We were minutes away from good eating places and restaurants as well as some of the major sites of Marrakesh. Lastly the property is excellent value for money. Unless you are looking for luxury, it is an ideal place to visit Marrakesh from.

We stayed in room number five which is a room made for families. It is a very large room but filled with four double beds. It was perfectly okay as a place to sleep but not as beautiful as in the photographs. The only really negative thing to say concerns the very unpleasant smell coming from the bathroom which only had one tiny glassless window/ opening with shutters that you couldn't secure. However I don't think this was a problem in all the rooms.

Very good communication with Abdo before arrival, met me at the entrance (hard to find initially as it is in a very local area) and a water bottle as courtesy. Very nice reception by Abdo. Great tips for places of interest and always available via if needed. Excellent Wi-Fi. Nice room with air conditioning and comfortable. Excellent rooftop with nice view

The room does not reflective the photos. Right next to the accommodation there are speakers be prepared for prayers calls six o’clock in the morning. Some of the furniture needs to be replaced as it was worn out. There is no dressing mirror. (Not necessary but would be good). There was only 1 light in my room and limited natural light. Little varied breakfast.

Stuff here is the best part about this property, they are very welcoming and they are willing to help you out with any questions. I found this place very clean, it is kind of old but that is even better if you want to get real experience of the area. If you don't mind walking 3km, everything will be in walkable distance.

Location a little bit hard to find at first but if you book transfer from the airport with them, it won't be problem and it's cheap.

I had a lovely overnight stay in a rustic (real tree branches in the ceiling!) but clean and airconditioned ensuite room. Comfortable spring mattress. Fabulous breakfast, which I took in a quiet and undisturbed dining/living room. This peaceful oasis with palm trees growing from the courtyard to the terrace is within the Kasbah and only a few minutes walk from Jemaa el-Fnaa and Rahba Kadima (huge markets including everything from modern restaurants, small shops and little kiosks/ stands) I keep mentioning the quiet, but it astonished me, given how close it is to such bustle! The only noise was the 4:30am call to prayer, which is everywhere in Marrakech (& most of Morocco).

You will need to download/ have available offline the map to get here. For some reason my internet connection dropped off just a couple of blocks away, which of course brings all the self-appointed tour guides for their “small folding money”.

Our host was David. He picked us up from the taxi and showed which way is the riad. He was really nice and communicative. We could ask him anything via WhatsApp. The center section of the riad looks very good, and you can go upstairs to the roof to chill as well. The room was pretty clean, and every day it was cleaned up when we were on medina. Each morning we could hear a call for praying, it was pretty loud because the speaker is right beside the riad. For us it was an interesting experience but be aware to be waken up at 4:30 unless you sleap like a boar. Also birds sing pretty loud since early hours, we liked it but I imagine that not all people would. The breakfast is simple and inexpensive yet tasty and filling. If you prefer something more sophisticated visit cafe clock nearby.

We could smell little bit a bathroom sometimes. It was not a big stench or something, not constant and covering bathroom entrance with a curtain was enough to stop feeling it. I guess it is a thing with old buildings.

The riad was very cute. The staff were also extremely kind and patient. The room was of traditional style, very clean and comfortable. It's in a quiet and safe neighbourhood, next to the city centre. The riad also has a rooftop to sit down and relax. The breakfast was really appetising yet we couldn't finish because there was too much food :) The staff really helped us out with printing out the plane tickets for the airport, and even got us a taxi at 4am to get there. I highly recommend it, it's hard to run into such kind staff so take the chance!

The owner of this Riad is so incredibly sweet and the building is gorgeous!! Once you arrive you are greeted with a smile and some delicious mint tea. You have so many places to sit and also a rooftop to hang out on. It was so dreamy! The trees in the center are such a beautiful touch of nature. I highly recommend this space!!

Maybe the bathroom door my friend and I had was see through, but the bathroom was way in the corner so no one had to pass the door anyway haha. Otherwise everything was perfect.

We had a pleasant stay at Riad Rockech. The room was quite basic, but clean and comfortable enough for a short stay. What really stood out — as always — was the breakfast. We come back every time mostly for that reason! It's truly one of the best breakfasts in Marrakech: fresh, generous, and served with care. It adds real value to the stay. A great choice for anyone looking for a simple, welcoming place with an outstanding morning meal.

My stay was super good here, the rooms are nicely decorated with a personal style. Very clean and also the breakfast is very good, you can go on the rooftop to enjoy the sunset. Great location, in the medina but a quiet area, 5 min walk from the principal road, perfect to get taxis. The staff is so nice and ready to help you. I highly recommend this place.

The room was a bit cold but it was not that bad :)
