We arrived early and were warmly welcomed by Anass who was very helpful. Throughout our stay he offered help and answered queries and was very friendly. We stayed during a very hot few days and the coolness in our family suite was really nice. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the hospitality we received. Many thanks.

This is a little gem of a riad. We stayed in many places during our 3 weeks in Morocco and the hospitality and care we received at Amaris was by far the best. The location is great, on a quiet side street only a half block away from the main food street and a few minutes walk from the shopping area in the medina. The rooftop is lovely and comfortable and the room was clean, updated, and beautiful. The riad also arranged transportation from the Casablanca airport to the riad in Rabat, which worked very well.

The rooms are quite small and for our family of 3, there wasn't really room to unpack or sit. We knew this when we booked and it didn't bother us, but may be a factor for other families. Also, the bathroom is separated from the room by transparent windows and door, so privacy is limited.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this wonderful hotel, and I can't speak highly enough about my experience. From the moment I arrived, I felt warmly welcomed by the incredibly friendly and attentive staff. Their hospitality made me feel right at home, and they were always ready to help with a smile, whether it was offering directions, recommendations, or simply checking in to make sure everything was perfect. The room was absolutely amazing—spacious, beautifully decorated, and immaculately clean. I particularly appreciated the attention to detail in the furnishings and the soft, comfortable bed that guaranteed a restful night's sleep. One of the best things about the room was how quiet it was. Despite being so close to the heart of the city, I was able to enjoy total peace and silence at night, which is something I truly value when traveling. Each morning began with a lovely breakfast served on the terrace, which quickly became one of my favorite parts of the day. The terrace itself is charming, with a relaxed and inviting atmosphere, perfect for starting the day with a fresh coffee and delicious pastries while soaking in the morning sun. The selection was varied and fresh, offering something for every taste. Location-wise, the hotel couldn’t be more perfect. It’s just a short walk from the medina, allowing easy access to the vibrant markets, historic sites, and local eateries, yet it's tucked away enough to offer a quiet retreat from the hustle and bustle. It struck the perfect balance between being close to the action and providing a peaceful sanctuary. Another huge plus is the excellent value for the price. Considering the quality of the rooms, the amenities, the location, and the level of service, it was a fantastic deal. I felt I got so much more than I paid for, which is rare these days. Most importantly, I always felt safe and well-cared-for during my stay.

Whether it was helping us with directions, serving delicious breakfasts with a smile, or checking in to make sure we had everything we needed, we were always made to feel like valued guests – more like family than visitors. Every interaction was warm and thoughtful, and we truly felt looked after from start to finish. The riad itself is stunning – peaceful, clean, and full of Moroccan charm – but it’s the people who made it unforgettable. Thank you for making our time in Rabat so meaningful. My two friends and I loved everything about Riad Amaris. We arrived before the check-in and they welcomed us with a lovely mint tea and some biscuits. Our family suite was spotless and the came every day to tidy up and change the towels. The breakfast in the terrace was unreal, everything they served was so fresh and tasty. The staff was lovely, everyone was very kind and professional. We highly recommend to choose Riad Amaris for your stay in Rabat :)

The location of the Riad was great, we were in the action of the Medina but also a short walk to the new city, the sea and the train station. Riad is very well decorated and looked exactly like the pictures on booking.com. The staff gladly took our bags so we could explore the city before check in time. Communication before our stay was always good. Bed was very comfortable. Rooftop terrace was awesome. We had a train to catch in the morning (we had to leave at 745 from the hotel) and we thought we would have to miss the breakfast since it only started at 8am but the staff made an exception and had it ready for us at 730 which was really nice.

Placement of the AC unit was not great in terms of keeping the sleeping area cool but it worked great for the lounge area. Call to prayer at 430am with Mosque next door.

Water tended to pool in the shower as the drainage was a bit slow. Our room was on the main floor meaning our windows opened up to the common area. This was not ideal as we couldn’t open the windows/curtains.

Riad Amaris is a very clean, beautifully decorated hotel. The bedding is exceptional (large double bed, soft cotton sheets and a light as a feather duvet) and the bathroom perfect with good product, good water flow and hot water which is not always the case in Morocco. The staff is kind, attentive and very helpful. Breakfast is plentiful and delicious (creamy scrambled eggs, différents sorts of bread and jams). The only sound you hear in the Riad is often the tweeting of the birds.

It was the nicest riad i stayed in during my 10days trip so far. The staff is sooooo friendly, polite and pays attention. The place is simply beautiful. The decor is puristic beauty. The first riad that finally had a clean bathroom and no smelling bathroom and they know how to serve coffee in the morning - that def made my morning :) breakfast till 11am and check out by noon = 👌🏽

the open toilet was a bit strange - but have been on my own, so fine for me unfortunately you will hear everything. people coming and going, walking above you, having breakfast next to your room,m. yiu hear the water running when people shower or flush the toilet ... doesn't really feel like you habe privacy in your room

Staying in the very traditional and beautifully preserved Riad Amaris is a wonderful way to spend 24 hours (or more) in Rabat. An easy 15 minute walk (with suitcase) from Rabat Railway Station, Riad Amaris is like an oasis after a long journey. The reception areas is light and airy, perfect for breakfast as well as enjoying a traditional mont tea whilst completing your check in. Our room was on the ground floor and much of the original architecture and design were in evidence with the split level room. Clean, cosy and comfortable you can relax away from the gloriously busy souks outside and wake up revived for the next day of exploring the area. Breakfast was superb with a variety of food and beverages to suit all. The serving team all helped me with my Darija and also made sure my partner was well looked after as she has food allergies and enjoyed a beautiful breakfast.
