I recently had the pleasure of staying at this wonderful hotel, and I can't speak highly enough about my experience. From the moment I arrived, I felt warmly welcomed by the incredibly friendly and attentive staff. Their hospitality made me feel right at home, and they were always ready to help with a smile, whether it was offering directions, recommendations, or simply checking in to make sure everything was perfect. The room was absolutely amazing—spacious, beautifully decorated, and immaculately clean. I particularly appreciated the attention to detail in the furnishings and the soft, comfortable bed that guaranteed a restful night's sleep. One of the best things about the room was how quiet it was. Despite being so close to the heart of the city, I was able to enjoy total peace and silence at night, which is something I truly value when traveling. Each morning began with a lovely breakfast served on the terrace, which quickly became one of my favorite parts of the day. The terrace itself is charming, with a relaxed and inviting atmosphere, perfect for starting the day with a fresh coffee and delicious pastries while soaking in the morning sun. The selection was varied and fresh, offering something for every taste. Location-wise, the hotel couldn’t be more perfect. It’s just a short walk from the medina, allowing easy access to the vibrant markets, historic sites, and local eateries, yet it's tucked away enough to offer a quiet retreat from the hustle and bustle. It struck the perfect balance between being close to the action and providing a peaceful sanctuary. Another huge plus is the excellent value for the price. Considering the quality of the rooms, the amenities, the location, and the level of service, it was a fantastic deal. I felt I got so much more than I paid for, which is rare these days. Most importantly, I always felt safe and well-cared-for during my stay.

Water tended to pool in the shower as the drainage was a bit slow. Our room was on the main floor meaning our windows opened up to the common area. This was not ideal as we couldn’t open the windows/curtains.

Riad Amaris is a very clean, beautifully decorated hotel. The bedding is exceptional (large double bed, soft cotton sheets and a light as a feather duvet) and the bathroom perfect with good product, good water flow and hot water which is not always the case in Morocco. The staff is kind, attentive and very helpful. Breakfast is plentiful and delicious (creamy scrambled eggs, différents sorts of bread and jams). The only sound you hear in the Riad is often the tweeting of the birds.

Not much. Maybe the fact that you don’t have a dining in option after long days.

It was the nicest riad i stayed in during my 10days trip so far. The staff is sooooo friendly, polite and pays attention. The place is simply beautiful. The decor is puristic beauty. The first riad that finally had a clean bathroom and no smelling bathroom and they know how to serve coffee in the morning - that def made my morning :) breakfast till 11am and check out by noon = 👌🏽

the open toilet was a bit strange - but have been on my own, so fine for me unfortunately you will hear everything. people coming and going, walking above you, having breakfast next to your room,m. yiu hear the water running when people shower or flush the toilet ... doesn't really feel like you habe privacy in your room

Staying in the very traditional and beautifully preserved Riad Amaris is a wonderful way to spend 24 hours (or more) in Rabat. An easy 15 minute walk (with suitcase) from Rabat Railway Station, Riad Amaris is like an oasis after a long journey. The reception areas is light and airy, perfect for breakfast as well as enjoying a traditional mont tea whilst completing your check in. Our room was on the ground floor and much of the original architecture and design were in evidence with the split level room. Clean, cosy and comfortable you can relax away from the gloriously busy souks outside and wake up revived for the next day of exploring the area. Breakfast was superb with a variety of food and beverages to suit all. The serving team all helped me with my Darija and also made sure my partner was well looked after as she has food allergies and enjoyed a beautiful breakfast. Friendly staff, lovely breakfast and pretty bedroom with four poster bed. Good heater in room. Ideal location and only a 15 minute walk from the train station, smooth pavements all the way made it easy for wheeled suitcases so no need for a taxi.

No bathroom door a bit odd, a curtain would be good Like all riad designs, any sound, particularly at night was clear to hear. Unfortunately there was a noisy family who had to be asked to be quiet at 11 pm. Little cold in the breakfast room in January … needed a thermal top and scarf to be comfortable

We enjoyed our stay so much. The riad is very cute, with a great terrace to enjoy the sun or play a game. The location is amazing, just in the heart of the medina. All people working there are very friendly and kind. They offered us every day tea and delicious cookies, just bought from the market. They make sure if you feel welcome and at home in their riad. The breakfast is awesome!! Freshly made, great italian coffee, a big variety of delicious food. It could not be any better...

The riad is inside the walled Medina, meaning no cars or taxis allowed. Fairly quiet at night, a busy market place close by during the day. Lots of scenic little alleys. Room was up steep stairs to second floor, bed up steep stairs to loft.

Riad Amaris is fairly close to the edge of the medina, which means you don’t have to shlep your luggage too far getting there. No taxi to the riad. Leaving at 3:00 am for the airport wasn’t bad as the taxi driver came to the door and helped carry the luggage.

Exquisitely, thoughtfully restored and designed Riad with very warm staff and exceptionally good breakfast (among our favorites in Morocco). Excellent value and nice location on a quieter dead end in the central medina. Would be thrilled to return to Riad Amina on our return to Rabat, and heartily recommend it to all.

Our room -- the family suite -- was cleverly designed and beautifully appointed, but very tight. Would have been perilous with a toddler. Somewhat challenging to park and find our way to it, but worked in the end with some direction from the hotel and would be easy to repeat now that we're familiar with the logistics.
