Nice and comfortable riad. Traditional architecture and furnishings. Clean and tidy. Quiet. Central location, in the Medina. Fine, rich breakfast, fresh fruit every day. Charming owner who serves the breakfast personally. Very helpful Mr. Anas, always ready to assist and provide advice. Highly recommended!

We stayed at Riad Dar Saidi for 9 days and couldn’t have picked a better place to spend our time whilst in Rabat. Everybody there was so hospitable, by the time we left we felt we’d been staying with family as opposed to a hotel. From the moment we landed, Anass took great care of us by helping arrange a taxi, greeting us with tea upon arrival. He was so welcoming, made sure we knew about everything there was to do & see in Rabat, and if we needed anything he was always a quick text away. The owner was also such a warm presence and so lovely. The rooms were kept absolutely spotless by the very lovely housekeeper, who always had a smile on her face. There was a delicious breakfast every morning, which varied but generally consisted of Moroccan breads, pastries, eggs, fruits etc with Moroccan tea & coffee. The Riad is perfectly situated just off a bustling street of the medina with lots of food stalls and shops on your doorstep. Additionally, it’s only about a 5 minute walk to the square & souks, and about 15 to the marina and Kazbah des Oudayas.

Incredible hospitality and generosity from Issam and his family. We couldn’t have felt more at home. We travelled with a baby and they made her feel at home and made plenty of accommodations including providing a cot. A generous and delicious breakfast spread was put out for us and the venue is furnished wonderfully. We felt as if we were staying with family the entire time. Location also excellent with the medina and waterfront all a stones throw away. We are really grateful to meet have Issam and his family who made our stay memorable and look forward to returning soon.

We encountered a couple of insects but think we were unlucky- we saw the building being cleaned immaculately every day and in this climate it seems fairly unavoidable and not a matter of hygiene.

The hospitality of Anass and everyone at the Riad we came in contact with during our stay was so warm and wonderful. It was an easy and pleasant walk from the railway station, and we were hoping the Riad would provide comfortable accommodations and it exceeded our expectations. The location offered easy walkability around the Medina, the waterfront, and nouvelle city. The breakfast was excellent with lots of variety. Our room was extremely clean and very comfortable. It was cooler during our stay and the wall mounted heater was very quiet and efficient. There were plenty of outlets for recharging our electronics, and the bathroom had a spacious shower. We would stay at Riad Dar Saida again without hesitation.

The Riad is charming and elegantly decorated. Situated in the old Medina, it’s within walking distance of most attractions. Our room lacked windows, so it felt stuffy when the door was closed. The beds were quite firm, particularly the single ones where the kids slept. The bathroom showed some wear (the shower door was broken and couldn’t close), and the water pressure was weak. Noise could be an issue at night if other guests gathered in the common area. The breakfast was decent. The women working there, were exceptionally kind and welcoming, making us feel right at home.

The room was beautiful, the location was perfect, breakfast was delicious and plentiful, and all the hosts were completely amazing. It felt like we were family. The hosts went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable and able to enjoy the Medina and they welcomed us home each day with tea and company.

Very calm peaceful location, step outside the front entrance at it’s a different world - the market souks Liked everything as it was the ideal quiet peaceful location - najma and her assistance Dunia were hospitable and accommodating with our cat and her two kittens - rooms are so peaceful air-conditioned which is a plus in the summer, tiled flooring with traditional Moroccan designs, beautiful carved wooden doors and windows panels amazing architecture

Needs A/C in the courtyard as it can get hot during summer time - other than that I liked everything about it,

our stay at this Riad was wonderful because the staff take superb care of you. We were so glad to be staying in a place of such authentic kindness. We recommend this Riad for your stay in the Medina of Rabat without reservation.
