I was extremely satisfied with the services. The bed was exceptionally comfortable. The staff at this property are all outstanding! They all go above and beyond to ensure the stay is comfortable. The location was ideal for a stroll around the city. The room was spotless and well-organized.

A Wonderful Stay at Darbar Heritage Inn! I had an amazing experience staying at Darbar Heritage Inn in Kathmandu. The hotel is beautiful, clean, and has a charming, welcoming atmosphere. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate all of my travel needs, making my trip smooth and stress-free. From the comfortable rooms to the excellent service, everything was top-notch. I would absolutely recommend Darbar Heritage Inn to anyone visiting Kathmandu — I’m grateful for such a great stay and would love to return in the future!

A fantastic hotel with beautiful and comfortable rooms and big bathroom. Clean, friendly and centrally located.

Totally beyond the control of the hotel there's a loud dance club next door, and every day of the week the loud dance music will make it impossible for this wonderful hotel to run properly. It's a real shame the club is not doing anything to make it soundproof and as a guest of the hotel you will literally shake out of the bed. I hope the management can force the club to moderate their noise, because the hotel is really good otherwise

I recently stayed at Hotel Durbar Heritage Inn in Thamel, Kathmandu and had an exceptional experience. The hotel is perfectly located, offering a peaceful retreat amidst the city's attractions. The dining at the Hotel restaurant was a highlight, with a diverse menu and delicious meals. The hotel’s amenities were top-notch. Overall, Hotel Durbar Heritage Inn provided a luxurious and memorable stay. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Thamel, Kathmandu and look forward to returning.

Let me preface this by saying that I have stayed at and have also walked around and asked to look at specific rooms, all over the Thamel area. Originally, I  had booked just one night here, as it was a few dollars a night over some other hotels and I was staying for many nights and wanted to save a little. But after looking at all the others and recognizing the really important small differences ( comparing apples to apples on the same day.), I decided to Stay longer here. The manager of this hotel meticulous about the attention to details with each aspect of the room. He was a manager of hotels in Japan for 20 years. These details include: • Extra clean! There are varying degrees of cleanliness and My room and the hotel in general were spotless • Upgraded bed mattresses and sheets from typical rroms in Kathmandu • Cold Ac! Many air conditioners are on their last leg and don't always function well. • Providing a lamp versus just overhead lighting. Lots of lighting options. • Hot shower with strong pressure. • EXTRAS: Slippers, toiletries , plenty of GOOD  tea and coffee and sugar. ( Versus, maybe one that just others provide), * a real roll of toilet paper versus the 1/8 roll that cheap hotels provide that only accommodate one person for about a half a day. • Extra quiet! I always bring earplugs or hotels, but I never use them as my room was so peaceful and quiet. • ALL functioning outlets • 24 hour Front desk! I often have to leave early and hate to have to coordinate that far in advance and worry whether or not a person will show up to check me out. • And much more.

I had a small snafu with the taxi airport pick up. But what really was surprising to me was that when I finally met the manager... Several days into my trip... he knew who i was and SINCERELY apologized for the mix up. It truly made all the difference for me personally

We loved the quaint alley it was on, convenience to restaurants and shops, very central. The staff were amazing, the bed and room comfortable and breakfast was delicious. The hotel is hard to get to with a vehicle but can be done early or late in the day, otherwise we just walked around the corner to get our transportation, no problem. We stayed a week and there was only one Friday night that music next door was disruptive, but all other nights were quiet.

Welcoming, cozy and nice boutique hotel, one of the best ones I experienced in Katmandu. Great breakfast and the owner is around for a small talk and help. Absolutely the best place to book after staying in the mountains to emerge back into comfort :) Great bathroom, air conditioning, soft bed, tea, coffee and a kettle. Loved it absolutely. Located in the center but on a more quiet street. Nice craft beer place right next to hotel

It was unexpectedly amazing stay and great value for money. The room was cosy, the team amazing and helpful. Great location for Thamel, a bit tucked away from all the noise. I would definitely come back.

Everything was great, the only disadvantage is they don't have a lift in case you find it challenging to walk up the stairs, but the team helped me with carrying my luggage, so all good.

The breakfast offered to guests who do not eat Nepalese or Indian food! Pretty basic offering...they could definitely improve their breakfast....feel they give the bare minimum and lots of room for improving this service! I do not eat Nepalese or Indian food, too spicy for me and we are offered either juice or fruit, white bread and an omelette plus tea or coffee! A fresh croissant, instead of this poor bread choice, porridge or a good cereal and a lot more selection of fruit!
