The hotel staff across every department — reception, restaurants, bar, pool, and housekeeping — exceeded all expectations in hospitality. Their warmth, professionalism, and attention to detail made our stay unforgettable. A special mention goes to the hotel drivers, who were outstanding. In particular, the lady driver who picked us up from the airport deserves a big compliment for her welcoming spirit and kindness. We were also fortunate to meet Ankit Sharma, the Commercial Director, who made a tremendous impact on our experience. His personal attention to guests is truly special. He even arranged for a delicious Nepali meal tailored for my kids, helping them explore the local cuisine in a fun and memorable way — a gesture we deeply appreciated. What touched us even more was Hilton’s commitment to inclusivity. It was inspiring to see the hotel fostering opportunities for staff with limitations such as hearing or speech impairments, creating a workplace that is both diverse and empowering. The hotel itself is brand new, with all facilities featuring the latest technology and elegant design. The spa truly felt like heaven on earth — a serene, luxurious escape. And the rooftop pool, with its breathtaking views over the city, the mountains, and unforgettable sunsets, was simply magical. Hilton Kathmandu is a perfect blend of heartfelt hospitality, modern luxury, and inspiring values. We can’t wait to return!

From the moment we arrived, the hotel staff were absolutely superb—welcoming us with the genuine warmth and generosity that defines Nepalese hospitality. Nothing was too much trouble; every request was met with a smile and remarkable efficiency. The hotel itself is brand new, spotlessly clean, and beautifully designed with top-notch amenities. The spa and gym were exceptional, offering a perfect balance of relaxation and wellness. Dining was a standout experience—delicious cuisine paired with attentive service. We also made use of their private car service, which was prompt and professional. The tours arranged by the hotel were enriching and gave us a deeper understanding of Nepal’s culture and history. Without a doubt, this is the best place to stay in Nepal. Highly recommended!

Every request was met with efficiency and genuine hospitality. The rooftop pool and spa facilities were a highlight—beautifully maintained and the perfect place to unwind, while the gym offered all the essentials for a convenient and productive workout. A truly five-star experience and outstanding value for money. We wouldn’t hesitate to return.

The staff exceeded my expectations when it comes to excellent customer services - from the welcoming, to accommodating every need, ensuring I have a taxi when I need, upgrading my room, the late night food when all restaurants are closed, \ having my orders delivered to the reception, providing daily chocolate with kind messages, trainer at the gym - everything was really very meticulously taken care of. Location was great, and the room was amazing!

I wanted to book a second room for a friend - and I had hoped to get a better rate (one for regulars and customers) but the receptionist could not support on that - which is understandable, but I had hope as a Hiltons Honors they would be able to support on this.

Everything was amazing. We had such a warm welcome from the staff, the room was clean and modern with a great view. The bar and pool area on the rooftop was lovely with a great view as well. Large variety of food at breakfast. Great gym with a view. We walked to many places from the hotel, so location was great. Would definitely return and recommend the Hilton.

It's really difficult to fault this hotel. The only thing I can think of is that it was quite hot in the gym when we went the one time in the morning with the sun shining in, so to maybe look at trying to improve the aircon there to keep the gym cool.

A very welcomo check in, full of smiles and information. The hotel is very well located, new, clean, luxury. But the high advantage is the skilled staff that really makes a huge difference. From the check in desk to the cleaners they all are ready to help proactively. Kriti, Pranika, Sumitra, Puja and so many other make your stay like home. I had a wonderful city tour with Pranika a very talented and promising guide tour and a magical massage with Puja, a very well prepared terapist. Kriti and other at front desk always open to support us. The restaurante and the bar are amazing as well.

Room was delightful. Spacious. Modern. Clean. The team were just other worldly in terms of customer service. Breakfast was fantastic. Only small issue is the breakfast ordering service wasn’t great (noodles / momo). The staff kept forgetting our orders / getting them mixed up. A new hotel though so forgiven.

Bright open spaces, fast elevators. Rooms lots of natural light, comfortable bed, great bathroom, nice towels, robes etc Breakfast was fantastic. Staff are friendly, approachable and extremely helpful and knowledgeable about Kathmandu and Nepal in General. Top shout outs for Crishtina, executive housekeeper, Chef Shyam, Restaurant Manager Kumar and I think it’s spelt Sheeta our table server all a credit to themselves and the Hilton.

It was a superb experience staying in Hilton. It was my first stay in this chain of hotel. The hospitality was highly commendable. The food was awesome. I will certain stay in this chain of hotels. I should make special mention and express my words of appreciation for Mr Akit Kunwar at the reception and a young intern, Mr. Nabraj who received me at the airport. I loved the stay.

Staff were excellent in all areas, the restaurant, the spa, front desk staff , the concierge (Guggan) etc.. I can't think of any other trip I been on where the hotel staff are so so accommodating, well done to all.

Unfortunately, the the roof top swimming pool heating wasn't working, so we were unable to use the pool.
