The hotel is stunning, and the fountains are phenomenal! The glass art ceiling in the lobby is amazingly pretty! Everyone who works at Marriott has been very kind and helpful. The room was spacious and clean and had a great view of the Mountains! The bed was comfortable. Food were amazing with various of options . Will definitely visit again

I recently stayed at the Marriott Hotel for 11 days during a family visit/vacation, and the experience exceeded all expectations. From the moment we arrived, the hospitality was exceptional—every staff member, from the front desk and janitors to the management team, was warm, respectful, and highly professional. The room was spotless, and the hotel overall was extremely clean and well-maintained. One of the highlights of our stay was the breathtaking views—absolutely stunning and made each morning special. The food was excellent, with a variety of delicious options that satisfied everyone in the family. What truly stood out was the genuine friendliness of the staff and their commitment to making guests feel welcome and comfortable. I was so surprised & touched with a my birthday celebration . I was really touched for making my day so special. Personal shout out to Pravakar, Susmita, Shekhar & Santosh who works at the restaurant/breakfast area for their great hospitality. It’s rare to encounter such consistently positive service across the board. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area—whether for business, leisure, or a family trip.

Wonderful staff who are very welcoming and friendly with the kids, property is clean and classy, the dinner buffet was also an amazing experience that we repeated it twice even though it was not part of the price package. In addition, room windows provides beautiful view to see the city and the mountains beyond.

The breakfast buffet needs some improvement, as I personally didn't like the juice options also having to cut your own cheese was not convenient and prefer ready slices. Moreover there is no kids center, and I was expecting a hotel brand like Marriot would accept all credit cards however my Amex card was declined upon check-in and had to use Visa card.

All the hotel staff were amazing, from reception, to restaurants all around, to concierge and house keeping. I would write down all their names but that would be too long. An exceptional mention to Prazwal who took care of us multiple times in the dining buffet. One of the best hospitality traits I have ever seen and a very sincere and genuine person. He is a plus to the place for sure, of course together with the others. Room was super clean and tidy and all our needs were fulfilled at all times. Would come back for sure!

Very happy with presentation and cleanliness of the rooms and common areas. Breakfast was of good quality with sufficient options and space to sit. Staff including front desk, concierge and airport chauffeurs were all very professional.

There was a miscommunication about my airport pickup, which I requested via the Booking.com messaging service. Front desk acknowledged my request, but the drivers were not informed. When I called the front desk, it was resolved in less than 10 minutes, and I was quickly transferred to the hotel.

New, very well maintained property. Large, comfortable rooms with high quality furnishings. Luxurious bathrooms. Staff was friendly and helpful. Restaurant is excellent, especially the breakfast buffet. Convenient central location. Thamel is not too far to walk, and everything else is easily accessible by taxi.

Atmosphere is a little corporate and feels a little disconnected from the local culture. Marketing messages on TV monitors in the elevator had music that was loud and annoying.

Excellent hotel facilities, fantastic staff, excellent location, food in restaurant, M club and room service were all delicious! We stayed for two nights and had the most exceptionally warm and welcoming stay. Special thanks Moj and Bindu in the M Club for the great cocktails, service and helpful advice. The all staff were friendly and super helpful. Will definitely be back there for my next trip to Nepal.

Loved everything.

I had a wonderfull stay at Marriott Kathmandu. Starting with the checkin. As i had an early check in i got a room in lower floor, but then later got a room on 7th floor. Which was fantastic. The entire personal from the hotel was very nice, professional. A huge thanks to the people working at the restaurant, the food was fantastic, they treat every gast very professional and solve every wish, I can only recomend this hotel. It is near to Thamel, and each staff member helps each time. a big THANK YOU!

We were blown away by the hospitality of the staff at the property. The team at the M club Lounge were spectacular, the breakfast team fantastic, the check in team superb, the staff at every corner of the hotel just blew us away with their kindness and care. That single thing will make us visit again and again.

Just a small thing - The key cards would often stop working — and we couldn’t figure out why. We had to recalibrate them often. May be the team can look into it.
