This hotel is fantastic! First of all the staff are the best, everyone is friendly, helpful and lovely, the most amazing receptionist a hotel could ask for, Amsiha, was incredible helpful - thank you so much for all your help during my stay - you are a star!! The room is very nice, really comfortable bed, great bathroom, balcony, big. The restaurant/breakfast is amazing - the best scrambled eggs I have ever eaten, great coffee, food is delicious. Location - perfect. Easy to get to, safe and great views over the hills.

Nothing to dislike

Good hotel in a great location within the heart of Thamel. The rooms were very spacious, modern and clean. The restaurant is excellent and in our opinion the best in Thamel! We are a family with 3 children and the hotel felt safe and clean.

Not the fault of the hotel, but the rooms are subject to noise from the street and neighbouring propeties. We had two rooms, one on each facade and both suffered from this unfortunately. Would still highly recommend this hotel

The location is great as it is in the heart of Thamel, shopping and food and nightlife. I love the furnitures in the hotel and gem of the hotel is the little Ne Nepal shop in one corner that sells the nicest Nepalese made gift items. The ease of communication with the staff via whatsapp is a huge bonus especially while we were trekking with little wifi connection. Thank you Roadhouse!

Whilst the location is great, I could not sleep with the music booming from the nightclubs few streets away. You have to request for rooms away from the noise if you are a light sleeper. The shower room does not have a door/ curtain so water splutter all over and you have a wet bathroom floor which I hate. The water drainage is also slow so a long shower will cause a "flood" in the bathroom.

Great modern hotel with good facilities, excellent friendly, helpful staff, and in a brilliant position in the heart of Thamel. Of course, the Roadhouse Cafe next door is a Thamel staple, and the breakfast menu was good, with western style meals. My room was lovely, with lots of space and an excellent bathroom.

My only criticism was the echoing noise from the corridors into the room. I could hear every footstep of people walking along the corridor and every word of their conversations. There are few soft furnishings or floor coverings to soak up the noise. Everything else was great.

Location was great - right in the heart of Thamel. Staff were amazing, very helpful and took care of our requests / concerns. Room service and the cleanliness of the hotel were great. The rooms were beautiful and very comfortable. The upstairs terrace was a lovely spot to enjoy the afternoons above the busy Thamel streets.

Unfortunately there was construction next door - jackhammering right next to our suite all day / evening which unfortunately marred the otherwise very peaceful and lovely room. Other guests in our group who were in other rooms of the hotel didn't have as much of an issue. Wifi was temperamental, especially in the mornings.

Every person we met on staff was delightful. We loved spending time in the evening playing cards in the restaurant , and the room was incredibly comfortable.

It was really noisy at all hours with the club across the street. We’d gotten a junior suite and I don’t think they have those available at the back of the building away from the noise.

The sweetest staff you could hope for!!! A big thank you to Amisha at the front desk!! She was the best. Hotel is simple clean and comfortable. The bed is firm, water pressure is great. And the attached restaurant is perfect.

The room could have used a chair or something!

The location is quite good , they offer complimentary free airport pick up ; the liaison for the pick up was awesome , we took the hotel breakfast option and it was very good , also the restaurant beside the hotel ( part of it ) is good and the whole atmosphere was very good . Hotel staff was superb , the check in was very fast and the whole process was done very easy . Definitely one of the top options if you will be in Thamel area .

The location is perfect and central. The cafe is delicious. I asked the hotel in advance for a soundproof room and they happily complied. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Overall, for a price, the experience was worth it and I would definitely recommend this hotel.
