From experience, hotels in Nepal are rarely as nice as they are pictured. This is not the case with 9ine Thamel. The hotel common areas and rooms were stunning and maintained to a very high standard. The customer service was amazing, the hotel manager often going above and beyond to assist us from everything from hailing a taxi, extending our check out time, to even offering assistance with bargaining at the local market. The breakfast was perfect, cooked fresh to order and the restaurant serves up tasty quality food at reasonable prices. We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Kathmandu. We will be sure to stay here again on our next visit, hopefully next year :)

There isn’t anything to dislike

Perfectly clean, very comfortable and super modern design. All of the staff was helpful whenever I needed anything (from suggestions for a restaurant, a hairdresser up to a trustworthy place to buy trekking equipment). The hotel manager picked me up personally at the airport on arrival and the owner even took the time to take me out for an authentic Newari dinner on the last evening and drop me at the airport the next morning. This was definitely one of the absolute best hotels I have ever stayed in.

We stayed 5 nights (before and after trekking) in this new hotel at the very heart of Thamel. Perfect location, wonderful rooms (best shower in Nepal), nice restaurant downstairs, everything super clean and inviting, and finally the stuff is absolutely amazing - helpful and flexible with all our unique requests (for example very early breakfast before leaving to trekking). We highly highly recommend!

Location was excellent. Staff and owner were very very friendly and helpful! They are the reason I would stay at the hotel again. Its a boutique hotel that exceeded my expectations. It beats large chain accommodation.

Actually there is nothing negative. Perhaps noise from neighboring clubs, but its location is Thamel, Soho of Kathmandu.

Property is in the heart of Thamel and is clean just in the pictures. I would appreciate the staff and their hospitality. We didnt get a chance to try out the breakfast but I am sure it would be delicious.

I would not say that I didnt like but there is a parking space for 2 cars at the front with ample parking space from at the back of the property which has a rear side entrance.

Everything is perfect here! The hotel manager Ashish has helped me countless of times - twice has he either picked me up himself because i got lost and also personally followed me to a restaurant suggestion. Outstanding staff - there is nothing they wouldn't do to help you! Beautiful modern rooms with views of Thamels famous narrow streets - just Perfect

bad smell from sewer in the bathroom after showering... But i've heard that this should be a problem in all of Thamel.

Everything, the owner and the staff was very kind and helpfull. They can organize everything, the transfer, programms etc, we could leave our luggages for days so everything was perfect! The hotel is so modern and located in the middle of the center.

Very spacious room, very comfy bed, very clean! Breakfast was tasty and the staff are so kind and attentive.

Friday nights are quite noisy and bustling on the streets which kept me up throughout the night, however that does not take away from the property rather, a downside of the location.

The staff were very helpful and attentive. The property owner Mr.Ashish was extremely hospitable and amiable. Overall we enjoyed the stay. It's centrally located, in the midst of all the shops and eateries in Thamel.
