Walking around Thamel a month ago I stumble upon this hotel and thought if I ever come back I would love to stay there…and I did …and I LOVED it! The staff is amazing, saying they go above and beyond is not enough, they made my stay perfect, thank you. Room was big (almost like an apartment) modern, clean, comfortable, with everything you need. The food at the restaurant was delicious. I ate there for both breakfast and dinner during my stay. I mentioned on my first day that I can only drink almond milk (didn’t ask to buy or anything) and the following day they surprised me with it!!! Thank you again for everything!

Excellent small hotel (9 rooms) with modern facilities. The restaurant was excellent. Many choices and at affordable price. For breakfast, there are several options to choose from. The staff were very nice and helpful. Karan at the reception was a definition of excellent service. He arranged the airport pick-up and late dinner (I arrived very late). He also arranged a taxi to pick me up after checking out. The room was clean and very well maintained.

The hospitality of the staff knows no bounds and the rooms are sleek and modern, a truly refreshing oasis of orderliness in the middle of Thamel. The WiFi always worked very well and you get to fill out a small sheet to customise your breakfast. Also make sure to meet the Chief Dog Officer of the hotel! :)

The only thing I legitimately didn't like was the juice provided during breakfast. All options (orange, pineapple,...) tasted rotten to me. This may just be the kind of "fresh fruit" juice you can get in Nepal, I don't know. But yeah, I tried each option once and then stuck with the (exquisite!) coffee for the rest of my stay.

Contemporary, modern and spacious design. Particularly enjoyed the varied breakfast selection, staff were attentive and accommodating with check out time, and service was superb with a personal touch. Powerful shower and aircon were welcome after the Himalayas. Overall, a v relaxing post-trek stay in the heart of Thamel. Look forward to returning

Central location and helpful staffs, close to major shops and night activities, and easier to get to attractions if you use taxi. Very Walkable to tourist bus station if you want to travel by bus Only thing I will pick recommend (not a big deal) are towels update and more selection for breakfast. Thanks again!

Good Points: 1. Location: In the middle of Thamel. Many shops and restaurants around. Though the location is very central, the hotel remained quiet at night. 2. Service: Very friendly and helpful. We have a late flight back and they allow late checkout ( but of course this subjects to availability) 3. Breakfast: Freshly made every morning ! Delicious and huge. Do try their restaurant too. 4. Room: Modern, clean, new and spacious. Well equipped with Smart TV! ( and it works very well) Good lighting and get a big window. Many universal power sockets. 5. The hotel itself gets good design.

My only complaint is that their towels looks old cuz they are not purely white in colour.

This hotel is a 10/10: location, facilities, and staff. Everything was perfect in my stay. Part of the great success of this hotel is the general manger, Karan, who is not only extremely efficient but also very kind and helpful. I'd only stay in this hotel if I returned to Kathmandu.

The cleanest and best equipped place with the nicest facilities we stayed in during our three weeks in Nepal. Caring and competent personnel, especially the boss! Seriously: Especially in comparison to other places in Thamel/Kathmandu, I consider this a gem.

The single place for improvement would be the included breakfast: If you are not into egg/omelette or meat for breakfast, the options very limited. I suggest adding just a few simple items with good shelf life, e.g., baked beans, the option to get more bread, and ideally oat milk to have some alternatives for porridge/cereals and coffee.

We arrived super late and the staff was waiting for us with a friendly smile on their face. They only have 9 rooms in the hotel. Our room was huge, and clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. Watch your head on the ceiling pole, but you can put your suitcase or the plant as a block. Good AC and shower, international plugs by the bed and a good desk with a street view for working. You got to select your breakfast from a list and the portion sizes were on a larger scale, good coffee. I would 150% stay here again.

9ine Thamel is one of my favorite hotels ever. It is beautifully designed -- modern but with warm woods. My room had lots of light. The staff are amazing, very helpful and knowledgeable. The restaurant serves a nice breakfast and local specialties for lunch and dinner. The location is right in the middle of busy Thamel but the hotel is quiet and peaceful.
