Everything was perfect with their services, although they need to focus more on their kitchen service. The most part I like here is the behavior of staffs who serves. I recommend this property for any person who prefers to stay with their family and friends in a quiet but safe location. You will find ATM, bar, restaurants, night clubs, souvenir shops almost everything in the same street. I'd like to be there soon again.

I couldn't enjoy my coffee with brown sugar or ZERO CAL in their restaurant until I stayed there.. hopefully I will find it next time. Flea might be a disturbing issue if you keep your window open during the day. So I advise hotel management to install window with net would be a good solution.

This was the best of four hotels we’ve stayed in Kathmandu and by far the best! The rooms are really big, spotlessly clean and so quiet. Amazing value for money too. The free yoga sessions in the morning are also great. The location is perfect for exploring Thamel. Erica on reception helped us to organise a taxi to the airport too. All the staff were so friendly and helpful, especially the reception staff, the man who opens the door and the restaurant staff. 10/10 would recommend this hotel

The location is quite decent considering the fact that it's in a crowded place like Thamel. Our room had great view from the window. The washroom was great. We checked out around 5:30/6:00 am for catching the bus to Pokhara, they packed our breakfast and gave it to us, that was a really kind gesture of them. We stayed there again when we returned from Pokhara, we arrived at like 6:00 am, they usually charges extra for early check-ins, but when we said we had flight that night and will check-out early as well, they considered our situation and didn't take any extra charge.

Overall the experience was great, two small things I think they should improve. I called the room service 2 times, but no one picked up, not sure whether the phone was working correctly or not. Secondly, the automated handwash doesn't work in the room I stayed (I let them know at the time of check-out and they said they would surely look into it.)

This location is just outside of the main action area for shopping and nightlife so it's easy to get all that done and you're back home quickly to a more quiet area. If you're asking the taxi driver you can say "7 corners" because the location is well known as that.

The location was great and the staff always helped with a smile on their faces. Good rooms with great showers. Bathroom functionality remained when electricity cut out. Massages were sensational, and staff were so lovely.

The food wasn't great. And there was no electricity as we initially arrived. This lasted for the full night and half day with the lift not being functional until day 2. We were on 4th floor, so had 8 flights of stairs to go up and down. At some points my brother had to piggy back my dad up, as my dad is disabled and not able to walk properly.

Everything was really nice. The room exactly like in the pictures, super confortable bed, very hot water in the shower, quite silent room, the cleaning lady asking always if i needed extra towels or water, everyone was really kind, from the people at the reception, at the breakfast area, cleaning lady, the people at the spa, and especially the kindness of Ram, really super kind and helpful, ready to make my stay as confortable as possible and for any question , he would be always avalable to answer. He really tries to make the guest happy!! Thank you Ram! Also it's very nice to have the spa in the hotel, i took 2 massages , ayurvedic massages with Devi, really good and good price! For sure i would go back in this Hotel!

The breakfast room is small, basic breakfast, friendly staff, and a good start for the morning, and meet up with friends staying in other rooms. Also the spa upstairs offers among other things, yoga and sound healing which is excellent,

Just got back from Kathmandu, and gotto recommend Hotel Tradition & Spa in Thamel. Perfect location - right in the thick of the action with shops and nightlife, but on a quiet side street so you can actually sleep! Staff were awesome, super helpful with everything. And the spa? Don't even get me started. Best massage after all that exploring. Highly recommend!
