I recently had the pleasure of staying at the magnificent hotel, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted by Niru and Celine with warm hospitality and a genuine desire to make my stay memorable. The staff at the hotel, under the capable leadership of Manager Ganga, went above and beyond to ensure my comfort. Any concern or request I had was promptly addressed with utmost care and efficiency. I was also impressed by the hotel's cleanliness and hygiene. Especially in these times, it was reassuring to see the rigorous measures taken to ensure the safety and well-being of the guests. Shout out as well to the restaurant team, sorry I forget your names 🤦🏻‍♂️🙏😅 Overall, my stay at the magnificent hotel was nothing short of extraordinary. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone who will visit Kathmandu, Nepal. The Magnificent Hotel lives up to its reputation. Ganga, the manager, goes above and beyond to make sure you are well taken care of. The hotel is clean and well located. I received an upgrade and the room I stayed in was spacious with all amenities provided and a lovely view. Bed and linens were comfy. Despite surrounding construction, room was peaceful. Breakfast buffet was hearty and included option to order other items. Ganga will help with anything you need outside the hotel and quote prices that are fair and competitive. I really enjoyed my stay here and plan to return.

All good. There isn’t a lift, but staff take care of your bags. If stairs are an issue, request a Lowe floor. Wood floor could be better buffed, but slippers were available so I made use of those. Bathroom floor slightly flooded during showers but dries quickly. You can use a towel as needed or ask staff to help speed up the process.

Oh my goodness!! What can I say? Our stay here was wonderful, from the first contact on Booking.com to our departure. The team are friendly, polite, helpful and always smiling. The breakfast had a nice selection with some extra options you can request. The rooms are spacious, comfortable and clean. The location, unbeatable. You are tucked away in a quiet corner at the edge of Thamel (the city center), yet, minutes walking to the hustle and bustle of the town. It's perfect. You have access to all the restaurants and shops nearby while still getting a quiet night's sleep, what's not to like? 🙏🏼 Oh and you get a free airport pick up 🤩

After a long, delayed flight it was great that they had sent a driver to pick me up at the airport, which was a free service. It is comforting seeing your name on a sign when arriving in a new country, after midnight. The hotel is well located in Thamel, close to restaurants, clubs and tourist sites. I booked a few tours, and they all new where the hotel was located. The hotel staff booked me a cab, using indrive,a local app that gives the best rates. Guests pay the cabbie directly. Their included breakfast was decent, especially since it is included. The staff were very friendly, I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for great value.

The hotel was a perfect base for my family in Kathmandu. We got picked up for free from the airport and stayed for 3 nights. Good location, clean and spacious room, hot shower, nice breakfast and a manager that can help with any travel plans you might have. We booked a trip to Chitwan National Park and it was really good value. We left some of our luggage at Magnificent hotel for free. The staff at Magnificent Hotel were fabulous. The dining room staff, the front desk staff, and others working in the hotel were extremely helpful and understanding of our needs, and always listened attentively to any feedback which we provided to them. In fact, during our stay at this hotel, the dining staff listened carefully to some feedback I gave them about some of the items on their menu which we had eaten, and the next day those issues had been solved. Not that is the height of customer service, and because of all this, we will be recommending the magnificent Hotel to our friends and others who wish to visit Kathmandu. 10 out of 10.

I really enjoyed my stay at the hotel for several reasons. First and foremost, the cleanliness and neatness of the hotel stood out to me. Upon arrival, I was immediately impressed with how well-maintained the entire property was, from the lobby to the guest rooms. The cleanliness created an overall welcoming and comfortable environment, setting a positive tone for the stay.The combination of cleanliness, excellent customer service, and hospitality made my stay truly memorable, and I would definitely recommend this hotel to others."

Airport pickup was nice, staff was very nice, early check in was great. They packed us a bagged breakfast for our very early departure the following morning.

Little bit of a hiccup with the airport pickup. Did not see our names with the sign, walked out trying to find it, lots of people trying to get us into their taxi, the gentleman with the sign finally found us, took my bag, walked it 5 meters and placed it in the waiting shuttle and then asked for a tip. I didn't have any money with which to tip him, but it wasn't a pleasant initial experience of Nepal.

I liked a lot of things about this hotel. I stayed here for over a week. The staff are super friendly and helpful. The hotel itself is well-managed. It's great value, near enough to the main busy section (just a couple minutes away) but also far enough off the main road to be silent. Breakfast is a buffet with anything I wanted including eggs-of-choice. I could sit inside or out, reading or eating. I could watch 24-hour cricket and ask any questions about any innings in any test match ever. That's just for ex-British Empire cricket tragics. English TV stations (CNN, BBC ,...) available in my room. I would so much prefer to stay here than in a giant international you-could-be-anywhere-in-the-world hotel. If I am lucky enough to return, this is where I will book my room.

My stay at this hotel was incredible! The hotel is simple but very good, with amazing staff who made me feel right at home. The location was perfect, offering easy access to everything I needed. They even provided a free airport pick-up, which was a wonderful touch. The included breakfast was delicious, with a variety of tasty options to start the day. I plan to return to Nepal and will definitely stay here again. You can book this hotel without hesitation – it's an excellent value for the price. Highly recommended!
