I highly recommended this hotel. It is Excellent when it come to service and location. It is very near to most tourist attractions that you are planning to go. Thanks to the Manager also Mr. Tusli who help us alot in our Phokara trip. He is really approachable and hands on to his team. Thank you to Miss mamta in reception who always help us whenever we have inqueries. I was picked up from the airport right on time by one of the hotel staff, and finding them was super easy, even though the airport itself was a bit overwhelming. That pickup honestly made such a difference. There were a bunch of people trying to get me into taxis, but the shuttle person made sure I wasn’t bothered and got me to the hotel with zero stress. I’ve got to say, the shuttle driver was amazing. The streets were super busy, but they handled it all so well that I felt completely safe the entire ride. When I arrived, I was greeted by the manager, Rajendra Bhatta, and the rest of the staff. Everyone was so kind and welcoming. This was my first time in Nepal, so having that warm welcome really meant a lot. Rajendra told me that guests are treated like family here, and I genuinely felt that the whole time. My room was super clean, and they even provided shower sandals, which was a nice touch. The bed was large, clean, and really comfortable. There was an air conditioner that kept the room perfectly cool and cozy, and I was also given two large bottles of water, which I really appreciated after traveling. The complimentary breakfast was incredible, with a full buffet and really great food. I also tried the hotel restaurant, Royal Garden, and wow, the food was next-level. The chefs seriously know what they’re doing. Every meal I had was delicious. The staff gave me lots of helpful info to make my stay easier. Manita, one of the hosts, was especially helpful. She arranged a taxi for me, recommended a super useful app that let me book rides without haggling prices, and really made getting around so much easier. Later in the day, when I had to catch a bus, she let me stay in the hotel lobby and even brought me tea while I waited. That was such a thoughtful gesture. Being in a new city for the first time can feel overwhelming, but I felt completely safe and taken care of here. I’m honestly so glad I chose this hotel.

Breakfast was good, Location is excellent peaceful place & Room was clean and spacious. We were a family group of 10 people and we all enjoyed staying in the hotel. We travelled from Kathmandu to Janakpur and returned back to Kathmandu - travel arrangement was done by hotel manager and we all are very happy with that. Hotel Manager Mr Bhatt is very cooperative, helping and always ready to serve you better and make your stay comfortable

There is no lift in the hotel but for Sr Citizen first floor room was given so it was manageable. Tea in Buffet or in room service was not very hot which Mr Bhatt( manager) has committed that he is going to make it better

The property is a terrific value for western travelers. It’s clean, comfortable, but what you can’t see is the feeling. You really do feel at home. The manager, the staff, everyone is absolutely wonderful, cheerful, friendly, and have good sense of humor. I know if I need anything, I can ask the manager and his staff, and they would take care of me. I had an urgent matter arise where I needed something printed, and they immediately helped me. We also had to cancel one of the rooms on our reservation and they took care of it from a distance. The food at the restaurant is great and we purposely issued our expensive hotel that came with a group tour to stay at Oasis Kathmandu.

Nestled close to the city center, the hotel is just a 15-minute walk to Durbar Square, and the route takes you right through a vibrant bazaar—the perfect chance to pick up unique gifts and souvenirs while soaking in the lively atmosphere of the Thamel quarter. This area is a dream for backpackers, with its charming streets, hidden gems, and rooftop restaurants offering breathtaking views of the Himalayan mountains. One of the highlights of our trip was a Himalayan exploration tour that the hotel staff arranged for us. The price was reasonable, and we spent a whole day hiking in the hills, getting closer to the majestic mountains we had longed to see. It was exactly what we were looking for, and we truly appreciated how effortlessly they helped make it happen. Everything about our stay was wonderful, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. If you’re looking for a place where you’ll feel welcome, comfortable, and have the opportunity to explore Nepal in the best way possible, Oasis Kathmandu is the perfect choice!

It’s our first time in Nepal, and we’re already falling in love—with the warm-hearted people and their generous hospitality. The hotel is right in the heart of Thamel, yet tucked away enough to feel peaceful and quiet. Everything we needed was within walking distance. The staff—from the manager and reception to the waiters—were all incredibly cordial and professional, making us feel truly welcome. The food was excellent, especially the traditional Nepali thali, which we thoroughly enjoyed. Breakfasts were also delightful and filling. As a family of three, we were given a spacious room that made our stay even more comfortable.

My 3 teenage daughters and I were in Kathmandu for 4 nights and 5 days. We stayed at the Oasis Kathmandu Hotel. There is absolutely nothing negative I can say about this Hotel. Everything was just great. The Hotel is conveniently located in Thamel close to everything. We booked a deluxe family suite, which was spacious and comfortable. The Hotel is very reasonably priced. Although the food variety and selection is limited, the free breakfast is delicious. There is no elevator in the Hotel, but that was fine too. The best thing about this Hotel is the staff. Everyone was just amazing. In particular, Mr. Tulsi, the manager, went out of his way to make our stay comfortable. He arranged a private car for two days at a very reasonable rate (much lower than other agencies) and also arranged a car to the airport (There is free pickup from the airport upon arrival). All in all, I highly and wholeheartedly recommend this Hotel for anyone in Kathmandu. Thumbs up!!!

Having been to 81 countries and countless hotels, I have never met a group of hotel staff who were so friendly, welcoming, accommodating, and helpful. Normally, you get just one or two, but the entire staff was the best I've ever seen and experienced. Breakfast was very good with both Nepali/Indian and western options. The restaurant at the hotel was very good too with fantastic flavors, good prices, and a beautiful (especially at night) rooftop (only 1 flight of stairs) terrace. The rooms were quite spacious, had very comfortable beds, countless universal outlets, and the AC unit, while small, worked wonders. This should be the first and last stop on anyone's hotel search.

The only thing that anyone could complain about would be the stairs. My room was on the 4th floor, and the stairs were quite tiring but still manageable after a long day sightseeing.

This is an excellent hotel in this price category and is highly recommended. The location in busy Thamel is very convenient but it's very quiet and peaceful. The restaurant food was very good and a wise choice even though nearby restaurants were plentiful. I was very pleased with the included breakfast. What sets this hotel apart however, is the superb service from manager Tulsi and his people. They were diligent, helpful, knowledgeable and kind. Nothing was too much trouble when it came to giving advice and to arranging trips and taxis.
