Everyone at the hotel was as friendly as a friend, always offering us so much help. I’m truly grateful to them! As we were leaving, they even gave us their heartfelt blessings — it was unforgettable. The hotel is not in a busy area, so you won’t hear noisy traffic or honking, yet it’s very close to the city center, making it super convenient! There are also many delicious restaurants and beautiful gardens nearby, so the surroundings are great for daily living. I highly recommend staying here — every morning you can go up to the rooftop to enjoy the stunning view and a delicious breakfast.

There were some issues with the bathtub leaking and low water pressure, or the shower water being either too hot or too cold. However, after reporting them to the front desk, everything was properly resolved. Other than that, everything was great!

The staff went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable at all times — something that means a lot when you’re traveling alone. The reception team was equally incredible — always checking in on my well-being and offering help with anything I needed, big or small. I also want to thank Saurav Tiwari for being such a reliable support throughout my stay. His travel advice and assistance were spot on and helped me explore the area with confidence and ease. We recently had the pleasure of staying at Shuvatara Suites and Spa, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The hospitality here is truly top-notch; the staff went above and beyond to ensure that every aspect of our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. The roof top restaurant is a must visit as we enjoyed the good food with great views. Staff were always approachable, ready with a smile, and eager to assist with any request, big or small. All excellent! I was given a beautiful room with a view of the mountains and l extended my stay, it was my first time in Kathmandu and l stayed for 4 nights, couldn’t ask for more. I was picked up at the airport. All the staff is so kind. Breakfast is a buffet with different options everyday. Perfectly clean. I had complimentary spa access which was relaxing. The location is more than perfect, in Thamel but in a quiet street, where there is a small grocery, a beauty salon, a good restaurant, a small eatery and a yoga studio and a cafe (All recommended) They even kept my luggage for days free of charge. We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Great location on the edge of Thamel, away from hustle and bustle, spacious room, modern beautiful equipment, excellent cleanliness, comfy beds, hot water in bathroom! All the staff are friendly and helpful. A roof top restaurant is great - one half is open air with an amazing view and the second half is air conditioned/heated in winter, friendly prices, excellent food. Rich, tasty breakfasts with a wide selection of dishes.. We also enjoyed their hotel's wellness center. A beautiful ending was when the staff organized a small farewell party with cake for our children on their own.

The hotel is around 6 months old at the time of our stay. The room is clean, spacious with good layout and modern sanitation. Very comfortable to rest in as it comes with everything you need: mini fridge, safe, kettle, hair-dryer. The room can be cleaned daily if you request for it. The breakfast here, contrary to some reviews, is in my opinion fantastic and they change the food offered daily. The restaurant staff here are wonderful, friendly and obliging too. It makes your first meal of the day so pleasant. The roof top dining area is a bonus attached to a cosy indoor restaurant We highly recommend this hotel if you want to stay in the Thamel area

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Shuvatara Suites. From the moment we arrived we were treated like royalty, room was spacious and spotlessly clean, staff were excellent throughout especially the breakfast team, my daughter is a coeliac so required a gluten free breakfast , the staff made her a breakfast that included additional items not on the menu to ensure she was looked after, also made us a packed breakfast to take away the second morning as we had a very early start for the airport, they provided a complimentary drop off to the airport on the morning of our departure as well, cannot say enough good things about this hotel

The only small thing would be that the opening times of the jacuzzi/sauna were not displayed so arrived up to use it when it was closed, we probably should have asked at reception when we checked in.

Shuvatara Suites and Spa exceeds all expectations. First of all, they organized a transfer from the airport (included in the price) and an early check-in which was a blessing after 8 hours of flying and early morning arrival. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Air conditioning works perfectly, great shower with hot water, nice and soft bedding, plenty of lighting scenarios. The breakfast was tasty and plentiful, and there are many options for eggs and beverages. The staff were super kind and helpful, always there to answer questions and guide the guests through hotel services. Unfortunately I could not enjoy the spa being very tired, but sauna & jacuzzi available free of charge are definitely a treat. The restaurant and rooms have a breathtaking views as well. The area around the hotel is well-maintained and pretty. I easily found a yoga studio, coworking space, coffee and food spots within 5 minutes walk. So if you are jet lagged like I am, you’ll easily be able to stay within a short radius and not get yourself too tired. I totally recommend to stay here!

Shuvatara Suites and Spa exceeded my expectations during my 5-night stay in the hotel. The hotel is centrally located in the city but in the residential area, a step away from all the amenities in the Thamel Area. The room was very cozy with all the modern facilities any hotel can offer. The front desk staff were cordial and always greeted with smiles The breakfast in the hotel, which is complimentary is next to none with a large selection of food from all over the world. The breakfast staff Hari, Susan, and Devi were always willing to go an extra mile to make sure the guests are totally satisfied. They all served with smiles. I highly recommend this hotel if you are visiting Kathmandu for couple of days, weeks, months. The hotel provides all the information regarding trekking in EBC, ABC, and other destination. They will help you as much as possible to make your Nepal Visit seemless, and memorable.

I stayed here with my husband and we couldn't be happier with this hotel! Absolutely luxury and confort! The staff is exceptional and very professional, they help you in anything you need. The breakfast is very good and if you decide to have a meal in their restaurant it's also very good, with a great view over the city! They even have a little sauna and jacuzzi for extra relax and disconnection!! And they provide the transfer service to or from the airport which I also used! I totally recommend this hotel and if I ever come back to Katmandu this is where I want to stay!!
