Very relaxed hotel, a bit outside the busy areas which is great for peace and quiet. I loved the (covered) outside seating areas to relax and read a book even when it rained. The staff are unbelievably friendly and will do anything to help you. When I couldn’t find the ATM nearby, one of the staff took me on the back of his motorbike.

I did and at the same time didn’t like the location. Loved it for the peacefulness but as a solo female traveler I didnt want to walk back to the hotel in the dark - even though it probably would have been totally fine.

This was our first visit to Nepal, and we were lucky to find a hotel that we could call our home in Nepal. The hotel staff took exceptional care of us, attending to the needs and doing extra to make us feel comfortable. I would like to specifically thank Prabin, Dolkar, Prashansa, and Pratik from the front office, Alishia and Dawa, who took care of catering, as well as Anjita, who kept out room clean and neat. The entire team whose names are not mentioned here acted professionally and with exceptional care. The area where the hotel is located and its elevation allowed us to breathe fresh air and avoid the high air pollution of the city. We enjoyed the clean pool and beautiful views of the city from our balcony. The quality and diversity of food offered at the hotel's restaurant were beyond our expectations. Using the opportunity, we would like to thank the hotel and its team for exceptional hospitality and care!

The property is spacious and has a wonderful pool with poolside food and bar service. There is also an indoor poolside restaurant that is very comfortable and attractive. The hotel staff is attentive and extremely friendly. My room had a small kitchen attached which was very nice.

The only negatives about the property are that it’s far from the central tourist districts (although cabs are easy to arrange and inexpensive) and that the restaurant adjacent to the lobby is a bit tired and uninviting. Other than those two issues, I really like the hotel.

This place was fantastic. It was unique in its own way. It had a little bit of “the overlook vibe” of you have ever seen the movie “The Shining”. My room had this odd kitchen, my sons did not. The food was great, the tv worked, the wifi was okay, it kept going out, but I think it was a location issue. Great latte. Nice fitness center, fancy pool and poolside bar and restaurant. It’s a need to mention that this was a hotel for locals it seemed. There were wedding receptions every night, and we were the only American’s. We didn’t mind, but just to note. It is not near shopping or attractions. It’s an oasis that rises out of the rubble. They had transportation from the hotel. We didn’t know the area, but decided to try it out. The staff was incredible.

Hot water went out, but they fixed it pretty fast.

The hospitality of all the staff at Siddhartha was amazing 24 hours a day. We felt very comfortable here and so well looked after. The hotel was very clean all round and out room spotlessly so. Our room was large, well appointed and comfortable with an amazing shower. There were several seperate communal areas, both in and out, depending on the mood and weather. We loved the pool area. The menu and bar ootions were both very good and well priced meaning that it was easy to find everything that you wanted without having to search.

We were able to walk to Buddha Stupa and Pashupatinath but eating and drinking outside the hotel was limited locally.

The staff was very friendly and went above and beyond when a manager transferred money for us to put a deposit on bus tickets to Pokhara. Rooms as advertised and tasty food at their restaurant. Rooms were a good price in February.

The staff did not inform us that the sauna was not included in our stay. So we were surprised to pay about 1200 NPR after we had spent about 30-40 minutes in the sauna. I’ve never had to pay extra as a guest in the past at other hotels. They simply need to inform the guest first to prevent misunderstandings.

The hotel itself is big and spacious, and I appreciated how clean it was. The service was commendable, and the swimming pool and gym were nice amenities to have.

One of the downsides was the changing room for the swimming pool, which was wet everywhere and had an unpleasant smell. The towels provided for the swimming pool also had a bad odor, which was quite off-putting. Additionally, the water in the bathroom had a bad odor, making it unappealing to use for washing or brushing teeth.

I liked the overall vibe of the place.

1. The road to the place is not well-maintained. 2. It would be nice if there were a menu in the room. 3. I would have preferred it if breakfast were served in the room rather than having to attend the buffet. As an introvert, I have trouble choosing food and eating when others are watching me.

Pool was super nice, the staff went above and beyond to help me with anything I needed. The bathroom was super clean, and rest of the room was very comfortable and nice

My biggest complaint would be that the breakfast was mostly the same thing everyday, it tasted pretty good but kind of repetitive. I still ate it and enjoyed however so not that big of a deal

-the staff and service -the spacious room -the pool area and spa -the layout and structure of the hotel -the location for its views and tranquility -shuttle taxi to and from airport -good value for money

-it is not located in Thamel area were many of the hotels are. The road leading to the hotel is a bit bumpy, but it's not really the hotel's fault. It's nice to return to the peace and quiet of the hotel anytime of the day after experiencing the busy city.
