The staff was really nice, We had a problem with the first room we got (clogged shower), which was uncomfortable but we immediatly got a new room. we also recieved a small gift since we came to celebrate our anniversery, which was really pleasent. the room was quiete and the hotel was practically new and we had the towels replaced and the room tidied up every day. There is soap shampoo and conditioner in the shower and bathroom.

Several things werent the greatest - for the price, location was great but its far from city center. Sometimes we had to wait 10 min in the cold for the tram. but again, its good price per night. The first room we got had clogged shower that i discovered only after entering it, and at the cafe of the hotel you can only pay with card and in my opinion it was slightly pricy for what you can find downtown. Breakfest we didnt try, again because of the price. 19 euros will get you a really nice breakfest in town. overall the expirience was really good though

Hotel is modern, clean and offers tasty breakfasts. It has also small cafe in the front good for remote work. The location is convenient, close to trams in every direction (5 mins), you can also travel easily to the nearest train station Sloterdijk (20 min) and to Schiphol airport (30 mins). There are many shops, restaurants and a nice pub nearby. Vondelpark is 5 mins away and the route to Rijksmuseum takes 15 mins by tram. Room offers a big bathroom and comfortable beds. Our room was big enough for 2 people and quiet. It is worth visiting!

Everything was great

I think this could have been the best hotel I’ve ever stayed in! We stayed in one of the top rooms which comes with a balcony which I really wanted to was happy to pay the extra for, but I would say the pictures don’t actually do the hotel justice! I was worried I’d be cold as they don’t look too comfy in the pictures but my room was so warm at all times! The bed was So comfortable along with the pillows! There was yoga mat and hula hoop in the bedroom which I loved (didn’t actually get around to doing any yoga) but it would of been helpful if I did, the hand soap was so smooth and luxurious that it tempted me to use the hotel shower gel (which I NEVER do in hotels) and wow it was amazing some of the best stuff I’ve ever used. The hotel on a whole was so good! The snacks downstairs came in handy when we wanted a midnight snack and they have a lot of vegan options which was helpful for us! We didn’t have breakfast but I’m sure that would have been amazing aswell! I will definitely be returning! Thank you!!

Absolutely nothing it was so amazing, very ethical, sustainable and perfect!

A clean and modern hotel that put the guests' experience and enjoyment at the forefront. The check-in area was bright and welcoming with a very relaxed vibe. The room was clean and airy and contained all that was necessary for a comfortable stay. Communication pre arrival was very good and always clear. The breakfast was good with a wide range of food to set the day up nicely. Coffee/Tea in the room a welcome touch. All in all a very enjoyable stay in a comfortable hotel.

External blinds were lowered on the windows during part of the day, cutting out a lot of natural light. There may be a good reason for this but it did make the room rather dark and forbidding.

Quiet hotel, with an ecofriendly message. Friendly staff. Got a free croissant as they want to go against waste. Breakfast was expensive but good. Nice grilled vegetables, clearly indicated vegetarian and vegan options. As well as the usual continental breakfast stuff, and some overnight oats and chia puddings, things like that.

Too many e-mails - for one short stay, I think I received between 10 to 20 e-mails from them. Ironically, the question I asked them in e-mail about breakfast didn't get answered (however it was answered at the reception). Many e-mails, mostly with the same message about them being very busy (hey, me too!), or asking us to check in online (the button for which did not work). Maybe this is more a booking.com issue though.

The top notch location. Right next to the 2 tram lines and a big beautiful park. You could easily go running there in the morning or evening if you wanted to. There’s a calisthenics part across the canal where you could exercise. The walls aren’t very well insulated but the neighbors were quiet during the stay. Also upon registration they ask you for the main reason of your stay, so I hope that maybe they have areas where they distribute rooms based on the stated reason. For breakfast they make food iteratively based on the amount of customers. I assume it saves food from being wasted Humor in the surroundings, like for example, when the staff had the text “I am here, because you broke it” on the back of their long sleeve shirt

I didn’t get the concept behind the showers. It said that it was using only 35% of the water pressure, to save the water form waste, but I just barely got drizzled over and had to take the shower for longer instead and felt cold for the first couple of minutes. It felt to me like over optimization for no reason. I haven’t received the check in instructions (checked in online) so that got me puzzled for a moment while already in the hotel. I didn’t realize that I had to program the access card myself using the check in station, I didn’t know the wifi password and had to ask for it, the time of the breakfast. It would be great to ensure that these instructions are always sent to the visitor via chat or an email.

Excellent location right at the end of Vondelpark. Room was quite big and spacious as well. Plus side for the bikes that just have a small logo on them so you don't seem just like another tourist riding a bike through Amsterdam. The girl at the service desk when we arrived was super helpful and nice. Really good quality-price ratio. Would definitely consider again for a quick trip to Amsterdam in the future.

Only bad side was the room had no amenities. We were hoping for some slippers or a robe to have around when getting ready. Plus the towels were never changed, and on the morning before our last they just took them two of them that we were using without any reasoning. This could definitely be better.

Stayed here for both my stays needing to come back for my thesis defense and graduation and I still think this is a great option that is price conscious while providing a quality service with just about everything you might need. The staff was very friendly and we particularly enjoyed the option of either joining the breakfast buffet or just having something at the café, both very good! The location was perfect to reach the city centre easily with all transportation close by. Would absolutely recommend and already doing that to other people wanting to come to Amsterdam. Plus, as a Hotello, go for Sustainable hospitality!

Very modern, youth and cozy oriented hotel. Position just behind beautiful Vondel Park, 30 min on foot (worth the walk) to Rijksmuseum, Van Gogh etc. and with taxi 15-20 minutes to core centre of the city. Clean, spacious rooms with bathroom. Room was on the calm side of the hotel, away from main street, and it was perfect. Neighbourhood is filled with restaurants, small stores and bars. Fresh and energy breakfast is to something you don’t miss :-) For sure it will be again choice to stay while exploring Amsterdam.

Few of the stuff are too young to understand what smile and interest what client is asking/needing. Thankfully other part of the stuff saves the day.

Modern interior and furniture. We did not miss anything regarding the amenities. We really enjoyed the lobby where you could have a quick meal or play some ping-pong! Also, the staff was always friendly and helpful.

The cold rooms. Maybe the hotel is too eco-friendly and they try to reduce the consumption for the heating of the rooms, but for customers it can be not so nice. The heaters would just stop working in the night and in my room there was a constant air vent that blown cold air from time to time… maybe I was unlucky with the room, but then when we complained to the staff about the heating issue they just gave us a portable radiator:)
