I only spent one night in the hotel and it was thoroughly enjoyable. The bed was comfortable, I could make tea, the room was very clean and the staff was really kind. The central location on the edge of the park was also a bonus. There have been complaints about the street noise here, but the street was totally quiet on Friday night, I slept with the window open.

The walls are thin, but that was already mentioned here. I was glad that my room was up high, but there was a steep, narrow staircase leading up to it.

Great value for money. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff was welcoming and helpful. There's not much more you could ask for.

It would be nice to have an iron or steamer in the room. Not necessary but a nice touch for socially anxious travellers who don't like asking for things.

A good location right near the tram no 2 stop which goes into Centraal train station. Small supermarket around the corner and a larger one not far away. Lots of restaurants and cafes nearby. Very steep stairs, so be careful carrying luggage up and down. We were in room 11 and the first night had a leak from a wall so we had the paddle around on the carpet. Not a good situation when one of the doors in the room has a sign for electrical items. The leak explains why the floor sags, so you wonder if you will fall through the floor and why the floor creaks when you walk around . . .

The location was perfect for a weekend get away. There is a tram stop right outside taking you directly to Leidseplein and central station. Close to Vondelpark, and in a quiet neighbourhood. The hotel overall is quite dated but still clean and acceptable. The staff were so friendly and nice!

The beds were far too soft for me, I know that is personal preference, but it was like sleeping in a hammock. We were on the top floor, narrow and tall staircases are of course typical for Amsterdam fortunately we had small bags for the weekend - you wouldnt want to be taking large suitcases up there.

Ventilation (I had the smallest room in the top floor) bathroom was smelling too humid and have leaked the smell of nearby bathrooms. I had to leave the bathroom door and windows open the entire time to maintain the smell from developing. I asked the reception person about borrowing an iron and ironing board and apparently they do not offer such service, which is disappointing. The staircase was too steep and tight, moving with bags was a bit dangerous.

I was quite scared because I read other bad reviews. I was quite happy and Im glad I still booked this hotel. The staff was so nice. The room quite similar to the pictures. Clean. Plenty of space. Is located in a really good neighbourhood and you can actually walk to the centre. Anyway, there is a tram stop in front of the hotel.

The gel was all in one, no champoo or anything else. No iron but still I would really recommend the place.

The staff from the reception to the cleaning staff were very friendly. Our room was cleaned every day. The location was also good. It was an advantage that there was a supermarket very close by. The heating in the room was sufficient. The stairs are very steep, so if you have a discomfort, you can take this into consideration. It was ideal for short stays.

Maybe there could be a mini bar in the rooms.

This hotel is very convenient cause located near a tram station direct from thecentral station. So easyly accessible even late. Be careful to warn people in advance to get your check in possible! Mine was almost not possible at 9pm. Coffee sticks and tea bags with a boiler accessible very much appreciated.

Noisy (road)_ no interactions with people working at this hotel. Check out in a box, no possibility to get an invoice directly (and still now a mont after I do not have the invoice)

The hotel is clean and located in a great neighborhood in Amsterdam. We stayed for two days. It's close to a metro station, and Metro line 2 takes you to the city center in about 20 minutes. The hotel is clean, and the room size is suitable for two people. They don’t ask for any additional tax or deposit upon arrival. The only downside is that there is no elevator."

For me this was was available short notice 30+ euros cheaper per night than anything else nearby. It was actually cheaper per night than some of the private rooms at the hostels at the time i stayed. It's on a quiet street and right next to the green tram line that gets you to the touristy central bits in 10 mins, and it's near one of the parks which was beautiful. If you're out in the city after hours, the night buses get you back with only a short 5 min walk from the door. The rooms are similar to your typical British Travelodge in style and quality. I felt like i discovered a little gem with this place as I usually stay in the hostels when visiting Dam, and I will probably use this place for all future visits if the pricing stays as competitive.
