We had breakfast at the hotel, and while it wasn’t included in the stay, it was quite affordable compared to other options in town. The buffet selection wasn’t very wide, but it was just enough to fill up and start the day right. The front desk hosts were exceptionally helpful—always available, friendly, and eager to assist with anything you needed.

One thing to get used to was the walk to the gender-neutral bathrooms. It might feel a little different at first, but they were consistently clean and always available. The only downside for me personally was that the hotel doesn’t provide an iron or steamer, which would have come in handy. Overall, though, the experience was creative, comfortable, and refreshingly different.

I just love the creativeness and the vibe of this unusual place.

I got bitten by flea/bugs/not sure what kind of insects in the second floor common area and the reception area. All over my body the last day of staying.

I checked out of this place today and I was initially concerned about the bed bug reviews I saw… I even contacted the hosts in advance to clarify… and today I can confidently say that I believe the issue has been addressed, as my stay was excellent! The place is pure art, every corner is a modern masterpiece. Great location, close to public transportation stations. Depending on the room you choose, you get what you pay for, obviously. I stayed in the 'Invisible Room', which was quite small, but exactly as described when booking. We used the shared bathrooms and were impressed by how clean they were kept, it's clear they prioritize service. I think this place offers different options depending on your travel plans, making it a great spot to stay. I didn't use the bar/restaurant, but it looked lovely and had a great atmosphere... If I return to Amsterdam, I'd definitely come back to this place

Super quirky hotel with a welcoming vibe and great restaurant attached! Facilities were clean and staff were friendly. I was also super surprised that it was so quiet within the room... We were right behind the reception desk and near the lounge and could barely hear anything. The welcome note and origami flower were a lovely touch! Thank you!

The room we were in was indeed very small. It is what I had paid for and expected... The photos were accurate. But it was probably a little more cramped than I needed solo travelling with a toddler! Saying that though... I would still come back and hopefully try a different room.

So cool. Such an amazing space that some genius/es have created. Incredible quirky rooms that doubled as art installations. Beautiful comfy lobby with absolutely excellent down tempo music. Excellent Thai food. Great coffee. Great atmosphere. Love love love.

I would have liked a larger room... I had a bed in a shed. But I selected it, I knew what I was in for so no complaints from me at all. I loved it in spite of it's small size.

Funky hostel style accommodation. Location is decent as you are out of the city and just take a 20 minute tram to central. Bed was decent but could’ve used a better pillow. Feel like all of Europe needs better pillows. Bathrooms were kept very clean at all times.

We stayed in the crisis free zone room. The fan did absolutely nothing and doesn’t blow any air. There is no AC in the room so it was quite warm to sleep. It was high 20s degrees during the days.

Such a cute and very clean hotel and room with nice decor, the bed was comfy and shared bathrooms were modern and always clean, staff were very helpful when needed and overall the perfect place for a few nights on a budget

There is no ventilation in the room except a fan but this means it is just fanning around the same air so the room was very stuffy and struggled to sleep at times but we managed

This hotel is an experience in and of itself; you won’t be disappointed. The personnel were always friendly and welcoming. Don’t hesitate to book a small room; even those have AC that you can control yourself along with a fan. The shared bathrooms are no reason to worry; always very clean and rather large and individual shower rooms.

It was a bit off, and for a foreigner the public transport would be a bit confusing at times; but once you learn how to navigate it, the location isn’t that much of an issue.

Overall this place was great. The whole concept was nice and was more than just staying in a hotel. There were loads of little seating areas with nice ambient light to sit and read a book or just relax. The staff were all very friendly and accomodating. I would definitely recommend to friends.

While overall the place was clean the cleaning in the shower in the room wasn't the greatest. The door fixtures near the floor need some attention as they are a bit dirty. As the ceilings were very tall the same was the case for the higher areas. Just some extra attention to the hard to clean areas would sort that out easy enough.

The location was really cool and unique and cozy and had tons of character. The staff was really nice and as helpful as the facilities allowed them to be. We ran out of paper towels in the communal bathroom consistently, but I blame management for that, and it being so close to a holiday. That's really the only complaint

Ran out of paper towels, and weren't provided an extra garbage bag for our room, but that wasn't a huge deal at all. The place overall was great and near plenty of transportation, quiet aside from New Years Eve, naturally.
