Lovely quiet hotel with amazing helpful staff. Easy to catch a tram or walk into more touristy areas. Breakfast was outstanding. Comfortable bed. Highly recommend

We stayed at the hotel for 5 nights. The staff was wonderful. They were so helpful and friendly. The head of the kitchen staff, I believe her name is Tanya, was awesome. The rest of the kitchen staff were wonderful too. The rooms were clean and my room was spacious. The breakfast was delicious, with many options available. The hotel was about 1 block from the #7 & #19 tram station. It was so easy to walk over to the tram stop, and get a tram going to the various places we visited in Amsterdam. The trams came frequently. I felt safe walking around this neighborhood.

My room came with a lovely balcony, but unfortunately we could not use it. While we were there they were doing construction, and replacing the roof. Unfortunately our balcony had scaffolding equipment and construction debris. Hotel management kindly compensated is to offset the construction inconvenience.

Room was spacious and well decorated, big shower room, comfortable beds. Kept spotlessly clean, daily, by staff. Plenty of plugs for your phone/laptop chargers etc. Good variety of food available at breakfast. Perfect location, far enough from the noise and bustle of central Amsterdam but still only five minutes from Leidseplein on the tram. A little thing maybe, but each guest being given a keyring clog as a memento upon our departure was a nice touch.

Bacon and eggs were cold on our first morning while there was no jam (we were told it'd all gone - "finished" - even though we'd arrived halfway through the session). Some plugs in the room didn't work and the ironing board was broken. Noise from guests in room above was annoying; fortunately this was only an issue for the final day of our stay.

From the moment we stepped off the tram from the airport, we fell in love with the location. Tucked away with a wonderful vibe of the dance studio and the kids playing. So quiet and lovely. The staff was beyond kind and every morning brought my son a Chocomel without asking as he stated how much he liked it on the first morning. The breakfast room was our favorite and the breakfast was an delicious and abundant array of all you can imagine. A brilliant way to start the say. Our room was perfect and allowed for the three of us to stay together but my son had the bottom level and we had the cute upper floor. We rented bikes from the hotel and they were in great shape and we had an incredible day cycling the city. We would stay here again in a heartbeat. Plus, fantastic grocery, bakery and so many restaurants close by plus a walk to Vondelpark :) Writing this review makes me miss it again!!!! We couldn't have been happier.

Hotel located around 20mins walk from the city center, reachable from the airport by train + metro (around 30mins). Uniquely placed in old church, well equipped (fridge, tee/coffee option in the room, even iron/iron desk was there), rooms are enough spacious. Very good breakfast, also breakfast room is quite spacious (lot of space between tables) comparing to usual hotel standards. On top friendly and helpfull staff, no problems to leave luggage.

Due to fact, this is old church - if you happen to you get room on 4th floor - getting there is a bit tricky, and you need to walk couple of stairs.

Excellent, spotlessly clean hotel with smiley helpful staff. Breakfast was surprisingly extensive considering it was included in the price. Quiet location but handy enough to reach all of the city's attractions via the superb tram system. One suggestion: clients should be made aware that there are extensive roadworks on Admiraal de Ruuterweg and hence Tram13 is not feeding the hotel. Therefore, clients should hop off Tram13 (or Tram17) at Witte de Withstraat, turn right and round the corner at Coffee Bridge, keeping the canal on your right as you pass the Mosque look for Chassestraat on the left. We reached Hotel @ 10am in the morning even though the checking at 2 or 3pm. Staff welcomed warmly and greeted with coffee, tea and snacks. They were kind enough to guide us with the questions. We kept our baggage in their locker room and went for our day trip. Staffs helped by sharing the bus and tram terminals to reach Amsterdam Central. Liked the breakfast spread and ultimate is their small bun with cream stuffed inside, every should try who stays in this hotel.

Drawback is no lift for the top floor, if you are getting rooms in top floor you need to carry the baggage on you own. Another issue is you wont get the BOLT or UBER cabs on time, but Hotel provides cab facility which slightly higher side from BOLT or UBER charges.

I LOVED this place! Re-imagined Hotel in a vintage Church and it is just lovely! One room was elegant and huge. Amazing large bathroom with fantastic shower. The second room was in the original attic space with cool slanted windowed ceilings and an adorable loft. When they say the bed is a "pull-out couch", don't be deterred by the concept, it is a legit queen size bed that is SUPER comfortable! Cozy and fun! The breakfast is absolutely amazing! So many delicious options. Chef made hot food and salads. And, of course, the bread choices were stellar! I chose this hotel because it was the closest to my son's house plus great reviews, but it was just a fabulous place to stay!

Bit far from city centre if you're walking, (approx 2km) but access by light rail quite good. Hotel was clean and in very good condition. Staff helpful, but unobtrusive. Breakfast was good. Room was comfortable,

Not able to shorten our booking when I noted a change in our flight details a few weeks before departing Australia. this was 5-6 weeks before our hotel booking. Booking.com refused change or credit, Bit noisy, Child care centre next door, but only during day. There was a bit more noise at night from the Students of the Dance academy or other tertiary school nearby.

Nice location, The triple bed room was nice with comfortable beds. The shower was good. There was a little fridge in the room and a safe which was handy. The balcony was a nice touch. Inca was very helpful and friendly. We ate breakfast on the second day and it was good, with plenty of choice both hot and cold. Letting us store the luggage was super helpful. We would go back.

Small things, The room did not have any information on the hotel / room e.g. We did not know how to contact reception on the phone. Some of the staff seemed unhappy and were therefore not helpful.
