Terrific stay at Alp Hotel. We were in Amsterdam for 5 nights and decided to stay here. The hotel is located in a nice calm part of the city, well connected with various Tram stops right in front of the hotel! The hotel is amazingly clean and cosy, with a number of amenities in the spacious room. We were impressed with the cleanliness, high spec finishing of the room and bathrooms as well as the option of the super comfortable spa hot tub. The staff were very generous and hospitable, we asked for extra amenities which were provided to us with a smile. An excellent choice for anyone traveling or just want to relax :) Thank you for an amazing time! You will see us soon and a solid recommendation to our friends.

The room was super practical. Had a bit of everything, sink, 3-piece bathroom with a jacuzzi bathtub fully functional (and relaxing), comfy beds, small balcony (for smoking too). Generally, the bathroom is new and clean. Cleaning happened everyday. Little table and sofa. It was excellent to have some friends visit over in some of the evenings. Best part is location, very central and close to all sides. Literally walked everywhere, barely took tram. Also close to tram. Loads of nice trendy cafe and bakeries next to it. Staff was friendly, they have free coffee and a nice garden but didn't have time to actually use them. Digital control for water heating, fans available if it's hot.

Even though generally the place was super clean. I did see a few bugs, but I guess that's unavoidable since it's nature and they can creep from the balcony.

The receptionist was fantastically helpful - without him we would not have made our flight on time. He also gave us great recommendations for dining, sightseeing, and exploring during our stay. The room was pristine, perfectly clean - keep in mind they are not huge. We were spending the whole day outside biking around and only wanted a comfortable place to rest our heads at night. Some steep stairs to climb to your room so make sure you are careful. The location is central, very convenient, but with some noise from the traffic outside. However when you close your window, it is quiet. And if you need earplugs, they have provided them. The beds were so comfortable, great quality mattress and light blocking shades. They held our bags for early check in and we could get complimentary coffee in the lobby in the morning. If we came back, we would definitely stay here again. The amenities and price are great but the service really puts the Alp over the top. 5/5

Only that we could not stay longer and explore more parts of Amsterdam!

We stayed in the Triple Room with Garden View - 3 single beds. Really comfortable beds, the shower was good too. The guy who checked us in (Nur, I think?) gave us a map, lots of suggestions of things to see, transport available, places to eat etc. Stayed for 3 nights and felt extremely safe at all times. Location was great too - near Anne Frank House and some of the other Museums, and also within walking distance of the centre. Would stay there again.

It might have been nice to have a breakfast option there - but there are some really great breakfast options really close by instead.

We stayed at the Twin Room with Spa Bath, Balcony and Garden View and had an amazing time. The staff were super fun to talk to and very helpful for any questioins. The location was incredible, right by Jordaan district and several train lines that made it easy to access anywhere in the city. My friend and I mostly walked places since it is very easy to walk in Amsterdam, and were walking distance from just about any place we wanted to visit. The room itself was also amazing, though fairly small, there was also a nice big balcony with a nice garden view and small seating area with a table that was nice, and the bathroom was amazing with a very nice shower and bathtub that was also a jacuzzi that we both really enjoyed. Highly recommend this place.

My stay at Alp hotel was excellent. The employees were very helpful and kind. the rooms are better than the photos shows and very clean. The area is perfect , with the transportation means comes by to the central station. I'm travelling to Amsterdam almost every year and it is the best hotel i've ever stayed. I totally recommend it.

Loved every bit of it. The hotel is stunning. Never have I had a hotel in Amsterdam with a bath let alone a huge bath with jets! Basically an indoor jacuzzi. The balcony - wow. The view was incredible. Try to pop back for sunset and catch the most incredible views. The room was clean, fresh showers, chocolates on the pillow & an apple. As well as water, a working mini fridge, plasma screen TV with English channels. The bathroom came equipped with a bath, shower inside the bath - as well as bathroom accessories like a toothbrush, toothpaste, soaps ect.. Plenty of room for clothes, with shelf and hanging space. A luggage rack to store your suitcase. Smoking is allowed on the balcony too! The stairs are steep but that’s expected in all Amsterdam establishments so you can’t complain! The staff were incredibly friendly and kindly helped us with our huge suitcase up the stairs. It’s about a 20 minute walk to the centre but a lovely walk! Definitely worth taking. I recommend getting an uber if you want to take a taxi back in the evening.

The hotel was lovely, clean and modern, staff were helpful and friendly, the room on the 1st night on the 4th floor was large and airy, with everything we needed. we both slept well in the clean comfy beds and enjoyed watching Dam from the high window.

The second night we had booked a different room which was on 1st floor, much smaller but had a small balcony, which was a treat. Found the room a little 'snug', but not a complaint as all else was as excellent as the 1st room had been. The 4th floor using the stairs was difficult and a lift would have been a bonus, the gent on the desk did explain that lifts are rare in Dam.

The room we had was tiny the bed touched the wall either side the bathroom was small also but very well equipped with everything you needed & very clean which made up for the size of the room . Very noisy at night so had to keep windows closed . Not a problem as weather wasn't hot but could be a problem in summer as no air con in room

The staff were so friendly and helpful and welcoming. That was nice after a long flight. The stairs were a killer but again, staff helped carry some of our bags. When I forgot my umbrella in the room, they loaned me one so I didn't have to climb back up. We had a top floor room with jacuzzi tub and terrace. It was perfect to relax after the overnight flight. Water was super hot!! Terrace was overlooking trees and fairly quiet from street noise. Tram stop was in front of hotel so it was easy getting to Centraal Station. Neighborhood was very local, relaxed and close to grocery store, nice restaurants and the Ten Kate market where we picked up some nice breakfast and lunch foods. It was easy to get to museums and other areas, walking distance to Vondelpark and Van Gogh museum. The neighborhood was much less touristy and felt relaxed. We would definently come back, even with all those stairs!!
