The property was in a great location..super clean. Nice treats in the room and water , clean and the hotel has a fantastic restaurant and bar on site. But the best thing was the staff - ALL the staff from the hotel check in and out and the restaurant and bar were the best I have come across in hospitality. All of them polite, smiley, super attentive and hospitable, all the time. Every single one of them.

Wasn’t a problem for me but some narrow curved steps up to the rooms and the “cosy” room had the same leading up to the bedroom. So for elderly or less able, may be a problem. But they do have other bedrooms that are on one level.

Everything, but ESPECIALLY the staff! They were so nice and helpful. This was my second time in Amsterdam, and they went above and beyond, even mailing a few items that i left in the room, making this trip better than my first!

Unfortunately the floor of the shower is not sloped, so it holds water that creates a horrible stench. We kept spraying my husband’s cologne in it, hoping the alcohol would kill the bacteria causing the smell. It sort of worked, enough that we didn’t complain to the staff, so they never knew it bothered us. I imagine this has been a complaint from guests about this room in the past. It is our ONLY complaint about our stay, and i would be amiss if i did not mention it.

Lovely, stylish hotel. We stayed in one of the 'Special One' rooms and it was great, spacious and comfortable. The bed was huge and so comfortable, we slept really well. The room had air con which was good because it was warm while we were there. There was a kettle and coffee maker. The staff are all lovely, really welcoming and helpful. The hotel is in a good area, on the edge of the Jordaan neighbourhood which is really pretty. Less than 30 mins walk from the station and the museum area. The stairs up to the top floor are pretty steep (as is the way in Amsterdam!) but the guy at reception carried our bags up for us and we got used to them. But if you had mobility issues you wouldn't want to stay on the top floor! The restaurant was beautifully decorated and did delicious breakfast. Would definitely recommend and would love to return one day!

I liked everything, the only thing that would improve the room would be a mini fridge to keep drinks cool and be able to store milk to have with tea/coffee!

This was a very quirky boutique hotel. I loved the vibe of the place and the people who worked there. Everyone was very welcoming and helpful. The food and wine is great. It's clearly very popular with locals so it's busy and friendly and has a lovely atmosphere.

It's a little way out of Amsterdam Central, about a 20-25 min walk. Once the works on the trams lines have been completed that will make getting there much easier. The rooms are really cute but storage can be a challenge depending on the room you have, and power points are hard to find! The room descriptions could do with a warning about suitability for solo or paired travelers because of space. I would have preferred a restaurant menu that didn't change between lunch and dinner so I could order what I wanted when I wanted it! Visitors are usually out exploring during the day so don't get to sample the lunch menu which looked delicious!

Great Stay at Morgan & Mees! Stayed here for two nights and had a fantastic experience. The welcome was super warm, and I had a beautiful split-level room. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was spotless, and the shower was absolutely amazing, with high-quality Marie-Stella-Maris products—the whole building even smells like them. Love it! A sweet welcome note was a nice touch, and the staff, especially the lovely ladies in the service, were incredibly kind. Breakfast was fantastic (not included, but they have a separate menu for it). Lunch and dinner were also top-notch. The room wasn’t cheap, but the quality was definitely worth it. I stayed alone and truly enjoyed the experience. A perfect stay for a few days in Amsterdam from Ibiza. Besos!

Quirky, an experience of typical home layout in rooms, great bar & food. Service team are helpful, welcoming and very obliging. Suitability of location depends entirely on where you want to visit in Amsterdam, I has happy with distance from Centraal, others may think it a hike to get to and from places to visit.

Nothing I didn’t like. Would suggest they make using power points more obvious and convenient. I’d recommend they are clearer about the need to be able bodied to access and enjoy the rooms.

We really enjoyed every detail of this hotel. We received a lovely welcome, great rooms and its a perfect location to explore Amsterdam. The rooms have a boutique feel and are very comfy indeed. We had a loft style room with a mezzanine level bedroom area, the bed was large and very comfortable. The room was very well equipped with everything you need for a weekend stay plus snacks, water, coffee pods & coffee machine. The bathroom was spacious, with a great shower. There are only a few rooms in this hotel so you can choose the one you want depending on availability and the size and price you want to pay. We booked three rooms and the feedback from all our family was that they loved their room and their stay. The hotel has a great restaurant and also a superb bar, the staff are super helpful, they make this hotel what it is they couldn't have been nicer to us. Cocktails and drinks were amazing. We'll definitely return and can highly recommend it.

Super comfy & well designed room. Wish there was a small fridge for milk.

The restaurant staff were a little slow although very charming

The room was spacious and well decorated with a good bathroom/shower. We ate at the restaurant when we first arrived for dinner and the food was great! We also had breakfast here two of the mornings and again, excellent food. The staff were lovely and helpful from the moment we arrived, and went above and beyond by mailing some earphones I'd accidentally left behind in the room, back to the UK. We would definitely come back here and recommend to everyone to choose this hotel.

Friendliness of staff; location; comforftable bed and spacious bathroom. There is a bus and tram stop 2 minujtes away, which mad it very convenient to travel around the city. The restaurant is very nice and they serve a nice breakfast. We also tried the bar one mnifht and liked it as well.

Strong chemical scent used in the rooms; no elevator (but staff helped with the bags at least at arrival).
