This is a beautiful hotel in a building that once used to be a monastery. The room was big, very clean and well equipped. It kept its warmth even without putting the heating on. The breakfast is reach and there's a nice restaurant you can spend time in (there's no lobby). The staff are nice, especially the ladies who take care of breakfast, they're lovely, lively and helpful. They've made our day.
Caution: the road to reach the place is unpaved and you need to be extremely careful when driving, avoiding holes. It can be tricky when muddy. For us, the bed was too hard to the point that we ended up with sore backs. The mattress is a futon type, we know it's popular/fancy but for us it wasn't comfortable at all.

Magical, improbably charming location, buried deep in the Dutch woods – as I bumped along the roughly paved 2 km access road, I felt sure I was lost and going nowhere. But eventually, and thanks to the genius of satnav, I arrived, to find patrons dining at tables set out on the spacious outdoor terrace. I had resolved not to dine here, because it seemed rather pricey; but I was seduced by the setting and the warm July evening – and I was hungry. I had the beef tenderloin, the most expensive item on the menu, and a glass of good merlot. The food was excellent – as was the buffet breakfast next morning. Very good coffee, crusty breads, and a fine selection of hams and cheeses. (Just avoid the so-called strawberry jam: it’s industrial gloop. And maybe skip the cereals. Continental Europeans don’t really do cereal breakfasts.) My room was tiny – a garret, basically – but it was cheap, clean, and I could hardly blame the management for the insufferably hot and humid night. I’d book here again. And I’d look forward to staying (and eating) here again.
Waitress service a bit patchy (requests taken but then seemingly forgotten)

The location was super charming, clean, lovely staff and really nice food. The breakfast in the morning was pretty standard for a hotel, so pretty good as well.
The only thing I was not jazzed about was the distance to the bus stop, which was not a big deal, but something to keep in mind for travellers without a vehicle. It is a 20 minute walk through a forest (personally I found it lovely, but most people wouldn't)

I found this hotel to be charming. It is located in a beautiful forest which I would not have seen without choosing this hotel. I just needed somewhere inexpensive to stop briefly overnight on a journey and it is a good choice for that as it is not too far from the motorway and there is free parking. The breakfast was good and there is a bar and restaurant for other meals although I did not use it. The well-priced single rooms are helpful for those travelling alone or who do not want to share a room with fellow travellers and the shared facilities were clean and easy to access.

The Klooster is a very nice location in the middle of nature. We really liked our room, there was enpugh space for us and the dog. The location hosts events, and has the most lovely garden for weddings. The food was nice, the people woorking there did their best to make us feel welcome, even though the hostess in the evening did not speak english very well, she tried to joke with us and was very friendly. Would have liked to stay more than one night, and would adore using this as a wedding location
There was no english menue option for the restaurant.

Absolutely loved everything about this property. Beautiful surroundings, perfect when you have dogs. Breathtaking building and gardens. Staff was lovely, competent and efficient (they were young lads and I was so impressed with their professionalism ). Rooms were cosy and super clean. Excellent food and drinks and very nice breakfast in the morning. Will come back for sure 10/10 would recommend
Everything was perfect

A very beautiful location, reachable by an unpaved road. Sadly, we had booked for only one night and didn't have much time to explore the stunning countryside around the hotel. The breakfast was very good and so were the snacks we ate in the evening. The room was clean and a good size with coffee making facilities.
Nothing at all

The setting was nice, the staff were all young but friendly and the restaurant served good food
We had a large dog with us, and were told all the bedrooms were upstairs. We were shown a very steep 20 foot drop open tread wooden staircase to our room, which the dog managed on the way up, but he slipped and fell the last 8 feet on the way down nearly breaking his leg. It was only later that we were informed of a second much easier stair case at the other end of the building. At booking in the staff made no attempt to explain that this staircase existed.

Bed was very comfortable! :) And beautiful surroundings. Very peaceful, friendly staff. I had a very pleasant stay and will make sure to visit again.
I stayed in room no.1. A light source above the washstand which was missing and the washstand is tucked into the corner, that was unfortunate. On the shower cabin there we're supposed to be 2 doors, there was only 1 which made showering difficult. I mentioned it to the staff when checking out and they were positive on the feedback, not a complaint. Just two things to improve in my opinion.

Beautiful quiet location on border of Belgium and the Netherlands. Atmospheric appearance. Room fine, nice bathroom. Breakfast in order with fresh orange juice and good coffee.
It was quiet when I was there, but that may be different when there is a party. It seems set up for large-scale festivities. If there are any, it could be very noisy/loud i guess.
