My husband and I got flu and my husband was hospitalised with pneumonia. The hotel was only 1.5km from the hospital. However, as I was infectious I was self isolating; I couldn’t think of a nicer, more comfortable place to isolate. The staff were all very helpful and sympathetic. Housekeeping were wonderful and made sure that I had clean towels etc. everyday. It’s such a lovely hotel and the rooms are beautifully decorated.

The only negative is that the toilet light automatically came on (there was no switch to turn it off); not ideal for an insomniac! The light is really bright and woke me up when I needed the loo at night.

I enjoyed this hotel a lot. The room was big, clean and modern. Breakfasts were good, and I was impressed by a self-service shop with a large selection of products for any possible occasion.

The location is not convenient for users of public transport.

Family room was spacious and clean. Bathroom was very nice. Beds were comfy, kids loved the bunkbeds with slides. Swimming pool was great and nice and quiet.

We did not drive so a little way out of town and 100 Euros on taxi from Eindhoven Airport.

Van der Valk hotels are all wonderful. This one is a bit out of town, like most, and near freeway, but very easy to get to by bike as we were doing. Staff was friendly and welcoming. Room was a perfect size and very clean. But breakfast is the big attraction for me. It’s enormous and everything is so well presented.

The room was big and clean. The staff were all very friendly, responsive and helpful. The bathroom was big enough. And it's great that the room gets cleaned everyday (which some hotels in Europe don't do).

The breakfast could have more variability in the food.

The room are spacious, bath and shower are huge abd awesome. It was very luxurious and comfortable. Stuff was nice, parking at the hotel was lovely, very comfortable and close to the efteling park.

The bath could have been cleaned a bit better.

Spacious rooms, fantastic bed and a spacious superb bathroom. The room came with ample choice of teas and coffee. And how nice to drink coffee in your room from a proper coffee cup. Staff appear to be well trained and professional and friendly. The breakfast offering is one of the best we have experienced at chain hotels in the region. We turned the arm chairs around to face the panoramic windows and enjoy the views from our 6th floor room.

There isn’t anything that I disliked, but as a suggestion to make good even better: replace one of the two provided coffee cups with a larger tea mug. As for breakfast, it would be nice to have some berries to add to cereal or yoghurt.
