Big window with a beautiful view of the Martini tower. It's great that there is both an electric kettle and a nespresso machine. The bed is huge and comfy. The shower and toilet are new and looks fancy. There was a heatwave of 33 Celsius degrees during my stay so I'm very happy that the AC works well and its noise wasn't too loud. The hotel is close to bus stops that take you to hoofdstation and Europapark (Groningen station was under repairs during my stay). There are many restaurants offering international cuisine around the hotel.
On weekend nights, you can hear people talking and drinking from the bars right next to the hotel. This was a mild annoyance.

Hotel is situated 5-10 mins walk from the train station and easy to find, within the shopping area. Breakfast was nice and the breakfast area has lots of seating available, with choice of juices and 2 coffee machines. The staff were friendly and the room was nice with a small safe so all good.
Would have been nice to be able to check in early as arrived at 2pm, but suitcase was kept securely so I could explore the city rather than waiting. There were not enough hot choices for breakfast, only bacon, scrambled eggs and boiled eggs and and a toaster if you wanted. Would have been nice to have a little more choice but that could just have been due to my early breakfast time of 7am.

Great experience, very friendly and helpful staff, atmosphere really cool and welcoming. Breakfast was great, it was just a shame it didn’t start until 8am on the Saturday which was too late for our departure.
Breakfast doesn’t start until 8am on Saturday. Pillows were quite big & uncomfortable on the first night but the hotel switched them no problem on request for our second night so we slept much better!

I stayed for two nights in July. The hotel is very welcoming and the staff were really nice and helpful. My room was a fair size, clean with a good shower in the bathroom, tea and coffee facilities, and a nice comfortable bed (with enormous pillows). I used the gym and found it well equipped. It is a lovely, calm little space to work out. I had it to myself, which was a plus!
I really have no complaints about the hotel, I would just mention that their carpark was full (they told me when I booked), so I had to park some way away. Not a big problem in the end.

The biggest plus of this hotel is its location, it's 5 minutes away from all the shops and restaurants of Groningen. It also offers relatively cheap garage parking, a couple of minutes away from the hotel - this is especially important as this part of the city is not accessible by car. The staff was really nice. The hotel is very modern and definitely a nice place to stay.
The room was pretty small and the bed wasn't that comfy (huge pillows) and it had a view of a wall (apparently a historic one). It is also very expensive at like 200 euro per night, which includes parking and breakfast (which wasn't that spectacular as well)

Location was perfect. An easy 15 minute walk from the station. Close to the city centre with many eating places nearby. Bus stops close by, but honestly very easy to get around Groningen even on foot. Room was small but comfortable. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Breakfast was really good. Great that there was a coffee machine in the room. Would definitely stay again.
Would have preferred bigger cups to enjoy a cup of tea as the only cups provided were espresso cups which were too small for tea. Pity you cannot see out of the windows as they are narrow windows high up. But was good that we got some natural light in the room. Other than that no major complaints.

The pool table and board games in the lobby was pretty cool. You could also buy drinks at any time. There is an awesome restaurant right next door the hotel and we could walk to see everything in Groningen from the hotel.
The walls in our room could be repainted and we also found someone's hair in the bathroom before we even used it. The upstairs balcony where you could smoke wasn't always unlocked, which was an inconvenience.

Comfortable hotel in the middle of the city centre. Easy to reach to main square, less than 5 minutes away by foot. Has very good connections to the transport system. Room was very comfortable, with tea/coffee making facilities. Cleaning typically occurs every three days, however, one can opt to have the rooms cleaned daily. Varied breakfast offered every morning.
Should consider offering more breakfast options to people who lead a vegan lifestyle or are lactose intolerant.

Liked the fact it had a pool table, the reception /bar hotel feels modern and open. Coffee maker in the room, small shop in reception
Was not impressed by the fact that they clean the room after every 3rd night, you can request more and they don't replenish the water or coffee etc in the room, we had to keep asking so they provided. All this in the guise of the environment, sorry I don't buy that. Little shop in reception doesn't sell the coffee pods for their machines.

Very friendly and attentive staff, very good breakfast. Very reasonable room size.
The closet area was not well location/organised/laid out. There was a non-insignificant unpleasant odour coming from the bathroom on arrival which repeatedly returned dispite airing. It may be due to the age of the plumbing but better efforts could be made to either solve this problem or mask it with a more pleasant odour.
