Voorhuis was excellent in a very good scenic location with restaurants and shops nearby. There were facilities to microwave food and a coffee machine. There was a dining area, large comfortable bed, sitting area and a private bathroom with good quality toiletries. We had a delicious breakfast brought to our dining area so we could enjoy it in private in our room. We only had one night but we could have stayed longer. We enjoyed the recommended restaurant which was situated on the lakeside but book early if you want a table next to the lake.

Nicely situated in rural northern Netherland. Very friendly and personal. Clean and cosy, with good space (for my liking).

I was there at one of the colder times in winter and it was difficult to heat the place quick enough the few hours I was there in the evenings. Ask beforehand.

Excellent staying! I had an unforgettable staying in here and the host was a super nice and caring person. It was an amazing stay with my dog and breakfast was a gorgeous and had so much fun with their ponies!

Checking in was surprising, because after arriving at the place it turned out that there was no one at home (it was a private single-family house). During the phone call we were given instructions on how to get into the apartment, the owner of the apartment arrived late in the evening, in the morning it turned out that he was a very nice gentleman. The apartment is part of the private house, inside the owners' private belongings. Beautiful surroundings and a tasty breakfast.

Due to the fact that there were private belongings of the owners around, as well as (probably) a shared bathroom, it was not comfortable, the surroundings of the house required renovation.
