As returning guests, we not only like the location close to many attractions and restaurants, comfortable room and bed, but also the little extra touches like a drink when checking in. We asked and received a quiet room. The staff are always friendly and helpful. The discounted parking in the underground parking garage very close to the hotel is convenient, includes echarging stations and is spacious. Breakfast offers a good variety to choose from and there is a little bar downstairs where you can relax and get a drink at night.

Entire customer support team throughout the day at the reception is excellent in providing services with that contagious smile. Hotel location is supremely convinient. Special mention with a round of applause to Mr. Sibo ( Night shift manager at the reception ) for his passion towards his work at his age and for his tremendous care towards customers. It is very inspiring to say the least. Highly recommended! We will definitely be staying with them next time.

Value for money aspect has a scope for improvement. For example,the pricing can be more competitive for the size and overall amnities of the room including breakfast. Certains rooms they have has old fashioned layout and bit gloomy. These rooms can be at lower prices despite it's relatively large size than the usual modern ones. This is just a suggestion.

We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Halbert. The location is absolutely central – perfect for exploring the city. The staff were consistently friendly, helpful, and very attentive. Our room was a bit small, but still perfectly adequate and well equipped. A special highlight was the breakfast: a very generous selection, all fresh and delicious. One major plus was the hotel’s flexibility on our departure day – since our original flight was canceled and we had to leave very early, we were given a thoughtfully prepared packed lunch instead of breakfast. Many thanks for this excellent service!

I liked the way I was received at the front desk, even for a late check in, I very much liked the room. the atmosphere of it, it just had all the comfort I needed and was hoping for. And woke up realising I definitely need a bed like this at home!

There was a constant sound of a kind of airconditioning like machine. Because it was continuous and just one generalise I slept fine but leaving the room made me reappreciate complete silence

The staff was very nice and the hotel vibe was amazing. We enjoyed the modern design of the rooms. It was super clean and we had a coffee machine, tea and a mini bar in the room. We can really recommend this hotel.

The room was spotless, extremely comfortable, and thoughtfully designed. The breakfast was delicious with a wide variety of options to suit every taste. The hotel’s location was perfect, within walking distance to all the major attractions and amenities, making it incredibly convenient. Overall, this was one of the best hotel experiences I’ve ever had, and I can’t recommend it enough. Thank you to the entire team for making our stay so enjoyable!

Location. It is perfect if you are going to do anything at the university. It is also close to everything but outside of the noise. Staff was very friendly. The patio was a great place for a drink. Modern with the essentials. Safe in the room, and a small fridge (very small).

There is no electric outlets in the bathroom and the only place to dry your hair is in the entrance area where there is a mirror, and the outlet is so low, by the floor, that the cable for the dryer is not long enough and I had to dry my hair sitting on a chair. The shelf in the fridge prevents a small bottle to be standing up (and cannot be moved).

Staff were very welcoming, very friendly, and very helpful as are all Dutch people we have encountered over the years, the hotel staff seemed genuinely interested in our reason for visiting the city. Hotel was surprisingly quiet for a city centre hotel.

The room was a little on the small side, so there's not lots of space for your stuff if you're staying a few days, but I would imagine space is at a premium!

The Halbert has great staff with a nice informal yet professional attitude. The atmosphere in the common area's is very nice and laid-back. The food and drink are excellent qualilty and great choice.

For the premium pricing, the rooms are rather basic and a bit tired / old fashioned. The beds are too narrow for a normal sized couple and come with a very uncomfortable non-permeable plastic layer beween matress and topper.

The room was spacious. There's a coffee machine and a kettle in the room. The staff was helpful. There is a nice lounge where you can socialize if you are traveling in a group. The location is great in the city center, close to everything, including being a walking distance to the station (15-20 min).

There is no closet, so clothes are hung on an open rack. We opted for cleaning every three days (green option), room was dusty quickly since we like opening the window so regretted that...
