The hotel was fancy, in an excellent location, beds were comfy. Staff were friendly and kind.

There was rubbish in the cupboard in my room left from the previous occupant. I didn’t mention this to the staff as I just put the bottle in the bin, overall the rest of the room, en-suite seemed quite clean. The temperature of the shower I struggled to get just right and it would’ve been nice to have shampoo conditioner.

Hotel is located in an amazing quiet location eith a central location with great shops and restaurants close by. Staff were super friendly and were always helpful. Room was well kept and clean.

The room keycard stopped working a few times, meaning I had to make my way back down to the reception to get it reactivated. Not much of a hassle but got annoying after the first time.

Explain hostel is apart of the hotel..address misleading..use the hotel entrance for the hostel.. Also it's not true hostel..as a limited kitchen..no stove top or sink to get wster..use the toilet to get water???

Very helpful staff. Convenient to the train station and all the sights. Bar and restaurant available on site so handy if the weather is awful! It looked like the parking garage could be accessed through the hotel (I didn't have a car)

You actually check in at the Martini Hotel so that could be confusing.

Great location, very central. Was only a stones throw from the SPOT venue and plenty of nice restaurants, bars and sights as well. Would highly recommend, as much as the city itself.

Ah sure we stayed in the hostel side of it, it was fine for what we paid sure.

It's very conveniently located in the city of Groningen, at a walking distance from the central station with supermarkets and restaurants near by. The room had a private bathroom with toilet and shower.

Beds don't have a number and therefore not assigned at the time of reservation. This can be good or bad depending on if you travel together.

Very good hostel double room that had air con and a TV. Although small the ensuite shower/toilet was very good. Hostel included other communal areas and is part of the large Martini Hotel. Was allowed to bring my bike into the room which was a great help. The location was superb in the centre of Groningen. You can also have a reasonably priced breakfast at the Hotel.

Excellent location, within walking distance of the city centre. Lots of amenities within 5-10 minutes from the Martini Hotel. Lovely lounge area.

Martini Hotel is also the hostel (annex in the back). That's not entirely clear when Google sends you there. Lounge could do with some tea bags.

Location is great, the hostel which is actually connected with the Martini Hotel is close to the train station and the city centre, but also the bus station. So, the position is perfect. The breakfast in hostel is pretty basic. Yet, several times during our stay the breakfast for the guests of the hostel was served in the hotel, and that was much better. The restaurant in the hotel is really nice, with waiters that serve you elegantly in the manner of old school. The whole Hotel has this atmosphere of tradition and old times in Groningen.

The receptionist accidentally calculated more tourist tax than we were supposed to pay. However, we've noticed the error after we decided to prolongue our stay, so we explained it to the receptionist and we were returned the money. Bedroom for two is pretty small, but it's functional and after two days we actually got used to it.

The hostel location is very central. The private twin room was good value for money, clean, and spacious enough.

The walls are thin. Voices in the corridor can be heard during the night, I sometimes almost thought the chatting was inside the room!
