The hotel was very picturesque. Good location in Harlingen and very close to the port. Breakfast was great. Very nice and many choices at the breakfast. Encourage anyone to take the included breakfast option.

If any customers have mobility issues with hips or knee issues, there is not an elevator. The stairs, to the sleeping rooms, are spiral staircases and are very narrow. Getting luggage, upstairs, was difficult, but not impossible. Just want others, with knee and hip issues to take this into account.

Lovely property, superb location on one of the marinas and two minutes from the centre of town, public parking all along the marina (apparently you have to pay but I was on a motorcycle so, you know…), super friendly and helpful hosts, nice room, ate in the restaurant and the food quality was first class, breakfast good too with hot and cold options.

We had two very large twin rooms at the top of the hotel. The views from the front room were amazing. Our room had a large terrace which in the summer would have been great. Beds were comfortable and the room was heated well - no climate control just simply opening a window. Breakfast was excellent, every morning delicious fresh Dutch bread and orange juice. Location is right in the city centre, 2 minutes walk to the main shopping street.

The parking arrangements are not very obvious, it's up to guests to sort it out and I was told you could buy a day ticket at the ticket machine but it wasn't available when I tried to select one.

Unbelievable nice clean rooms. Great view of the inner harbor of Harlingen. As it was warm when I stayed, they opened the windows so a fresh wind could cool the room. Also a portable fan was available. I didn’t used it and I can tell you I hate heat. My room had a window straight above the bed. so nice to open it during the night and hear the birds singing in the early morning. Great breakfast. As I arrived late I didn’t use the restaurant. It was fully booked so should be fine as well.

The hotel is located in the heart of the city close to a canal. Public parking spaces were available in front of the hotel. The room was spacious and the breakfast offered all one could wish.

The water pressure in the shower was too low for our taste. The hair drier had also not enough power.

A very nice hotel in the town centre, overlooking the canal. Staff were lovely, we were made to feel welcome & the large room was excellent, with a bath & shower. Relaxing seating outside for a drink. We ate in the restaurant & found the service & food to be very good, followed by a very good breakfast the following morning.

Located on Noorderhaven, the hotel is wonderfully situated for all the sights of charming Harlingen. Outside tables meant that evening drinks watching the boats was really enjoyable. The large private terrace just outside our room with a couple of loungers and a small bistro table and chairs was an unexpected bonus - especially if the weather had been sunnier. A huge choice of cold meats and cheese supplemented the more typical breakfast. A large party of 40 meant that our dinner service was extremely slow, although we were offered (and accepted) free drinks in way of apology. We found the staff to be very efficient and friendly.

Our room was up two flights of steep stairs (typical of old Dutch houses) although we were offered help with our luggage. Our bathroom was quite small and dark.

Breakfast was terrific, fresh and a large variety served in the main restaurant. Staff overall was great and very helpful. Street parking was available in front of the hotel.

Be aware that the stairs are the typical dutch steep and winding type and there was no elevator. It didn't bother us at all but might be difficult for some people.

Hospitable Welcome, Spacious clean room , Nice food, Good night sleep, perfect overcomplete breakfast. Very friendly staff. Highly recommended.
