Breakfast is good, there's also no immediate close alternative so if you plan to wander a lot during the day, it may be easier to just take it early in the morning and then be on your way. The room is spacious with a window that takes up most of the wall space on one side and provides a nice view and enough natural lighting. Tea kettle, coffee maker and some tea/coffee options are available right in the room and are refreshed during room service, no need to go anywhere just for some tea. Tap water is clean enough to use it for the kettle. It's a 10-minute more or less straight walk from the hotel to the central train station. Even though the hotel has "Media Park" in the title, the central station seems much more convenient to use: a bit closer and all trains available for Hilversum stop there. Central square is 7-10 minutes away.

This is more of a cherry-picking than a real description, but may be useful for someone: - shower cabin was a bit small for me, if you're tall enough, using it without hitting one of the walls with an elbow is tricky. - bed consists of two small beds put close together, so there's a gap in the middle which may be uncomfortable if you're not used to this. - the assortment of available breakfast meals is the same every day which may be a problem for some (I'm personally fine with scramble every morning and additions are abundant enough to switch between them from day to day). - if I remember correctly, there was no shoe horn in the room. A small thing but nice to have. - no general purpose shops close by, I think the closest ones are somewhere around the square so 7-10 minutes away.

It is a nice hotel approximately 10-15 min walk from the train station with frequent trains to Amsterdam (20 min). It provided all basic needs. The staff was polite and helpful. There was a kettle, tea, and coffee machine in the room, but no fridge.

The room wasn't spotless clean - dust on the shelf above the bed, but otherwise ok. We did not like that the mattress was of two pieces together, not one, what creates a little gap in between. We missed a little fridge for the local cheese we bought on the local market. We did not have breakfast as we had to leave early but they seemed to me a little pricey. The restaurant was closed on Sunday, so we ended up doing delivery.

This hotel exceeded all my expectations. The location is perfect, just a 10-minute walk from the station and very close to the city center, making it easy to explore the city and its surroundings. The area is quiet and green, ideal for relaxing after a day of sightseeing. The rooms are spacious, clean, and well-furnished, with plenty of electrical outlets, a kettle with tea and coffee replenished daily, and a safe. The staff is courteous and helpful, and my room was cleaned with great care every day. I will definitely come back!

The staff were the standout feature of this hotel. They gave me use of a charger, as I'd left mine at home. A full selection of toiletries was provided. The location in Hilversum was excellent with easy connections to Amsterdam and Schiphol airport.

There was no light switch for the main light, the only one was at the entrance to the room. A bed side lamp was provided but it was not plugged in and I had to hunt around for a socket under the bed.

Clean and a nice Hotel. Due the heavy I arrived past my check-in time (6pm-midnight), but I was able to get in. I had pre-paid through Booking.com, and luckily the clerk let me in my room even if the payment didn’t show in their system.

Breakfast. There was only one guy working there every once in a while. I didn’t find find cutlery and staff wasn’t around so I couldn’t ask anyone to start eating. The coffee machine was also behind the desk, so I wasn’t quite sure I was allowed to go behind the desk to have my coffee.

The personal attention and care shown to me by the staff were truly impressive, making me feel valued and appreciated throughout my stay. The atmosphere at the hotel was wonderful, and the service was top-notch. From the moment I arrived, I felt at home, and the staff went above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable and enjoyable.

Excellent accommodation in the close residence with apartments, closer to the railway station. Very quiet place, clean, and equipped with all the services in the room. Friendly, fast and precise reception. Breakfast with all the varieties of food. Excellent value for money. Definitely excellent hotel, especially for those traveling by public transport and do not need to stay in Amsterdam.

Nothing significant

It was beyond my expectations and I was very satisfied. Although Hilversum is outside of Amsterdam, the hotel is 10 minutes walk from the train so it was easy for me to get transportation. It is also a very peaceful, quiet and green area. The hotel was very clean, my room was big and nice. They renewed my coffee and tea in my room every day. I had a very nice 4 days here, I would choose it if I come to the Netherlands again. It is a very good option for single travelers and families.

Breakfast could be included in the price.

Staff were lovely. They arranged to charge my mobile phone, but a connection in my room would have been better. The breakfast options were very good and the staff member most helpful when I couldn't work the coffee machine. Could do with less lumpy pillows and the shower head fell off onto me once. Very close to trains and buses so I was able to get to my seminar venue in Baarn very easily.

Lack of mobile phone charging in one's room, especially for international travellers.

We booked this hotel as its within a 10 minute walk to friends who live nearby as well as very close to Hilversum train station. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, and managed to put us in rooms on the same floor (per my request). They also provided us with umbrellas as it rained most of the weekend. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the water pressure/heat is probably one of the best at a hotel we've experienced. Breakfast was great - selection of fruit, juices, yogurts and then hot food (self service). We've booked to return in March 24 to visit our friends again. Thank you.
