Conveniently located hotel, close to the road system but I was not overly aware of the traffic sounds. Very helpful receptionists. Nice room, clean. Comfy bed. Friendly, efficient housekeeping staff. Good breakfasts.

I did not like the bewildering modernistic basin in the bathroom. The room was a bit noisy due to banging doors somewhere in the vicinity. No USB port in the room. I forgot to take a European plug adaptor and the reception did not have one to lend or sell (but otherwise were very helpful). No iron in the room and the placement of the mini safe and hair dryer was quite high up. Duvet was a bit too thin and the room temperature was a bit chilly.

The room is in need of some TLC. Window had a crack in it, left bedside lamp not working (needs a light bulb), right bed side light switch not working. There seems to be a wiring issue when I switched off the main light switch on the left wall by the bed, the power stopped also inside the plug by the garden door, where I was charging a device. So i kept the lights on longer just to keep charging my device. The lighthig is very dim, and the is an issue inthe bathroom when trying to put on makeup, or contact lenses etc etc. The airvents above the window are too high for me to reach to adjust, I am 1.65 meter, for tall people probably no problem to reach; perhaps put a pole/stick there to operate it?

I know this property well and have stayed there several times, but it needs some serious upgrades on the rooms. The location is great. Next to the freeway, Laren and Blaricum are close. The staff is very nice and the breakfast buffet is excellent.

Like I said before, it is a great value what you get, but it is an old run down hotel. They need to invest some serious money if they want to make it look they way the property could look. Rooms are old and need an update.

The staff was great, rooms spacious and super clean. Clean and nice sheets and a great duvet which was super cozy but not too hot to sleep under.

What's supposed to be a double bed were actually 2 singles pushed together and these beds had a topper that constantly shifted which felt like sleeping on a slippy slide.

This was mine and my husband's 5th time staying at the De Witte Bergen and was not disappointed! The toiletries that were offered are nice and wonderful fragrance. And it was nice to have a bar of soap instead liquid gel soap on the wall. The restaurant service, cost and selection was excellent, along with the daily breakfast. The location is wonderful and we always travel to Laren which is 6 miles up the road to enjoy the local fair and seasonal indulging of the Poffertjes. The new Casino is definitely a draw for additional entertainment once the onsite restaurant closes at 9:30 pm.

the construction going on during our stay. The website did not make it obviously known that there would be a YUGE renovation during our stay and early morning noise of drilling, hammering, etc.. the lighting in the bathroom above the sink could be better. The blow dryer is not at all what I'm used to and it made my hair extremely frizzy and poofy like a French poodle. I would offer a standard type hair dryer as well. I would also include magnify makeup mirror and facial tissue, that are typically available in most 4 to 5 star hotels these days. I would lengthen the hours of the restaurant serving till at least 10:30 pm as well

Great service, food in the restaurant is top quality, when traveling from the USA to the Netherlands I always stay at this property. Clean, updated rooms and friendly staff. Thanks for another wonderful stay!

Restaurant lovely and the bedroom was - spacious, clean and comfortable. Great area for cycling and walking. Bike rental reasonable and reception staff helpful.

Not enough complimentary coffee or tea in the room and only one bottle of water each on 1st day Fitness room looked unavailable- had linen stored in there.

Very strange way of getting to the first floor via first a lift to -1 People celebrating (noise) until the early hours of the morning & then again from 8am ... A shame as it spoilt my stay

Nice room and bathroom, good restaurant.

Location. Windows in room could not open for fresh air. However the balcony could be opened but could not be left opened during the night as it was accessible for everyone from inside or outside of the hotel.

Nice hotel all round

This hotel was booked by accident and we didn't have a car so to find out it was €30 to get to the train station and not on a bus route was a bit ruff. But clearly not the hotels fault
