We liked the location of the hotel, close enough to the buzzing city center and quiet enough as the hotel is in a residential neighbourhood. We appreciated the service and kindness at the breakfast which was lovely. We liked the decoration with style and character. The room was very clean, and the bath towels were changed each day.

The bed wasn't so comfortable, perhaps the mattresses were too soft? The room was really hot and even when on the second day the weather was much more fresh, if we slept with the windows shut, it was too hot in the room to sleep comfortably. The water pressure for the shower was a bit too low. We found the price a bit too high.

The rooms are bright, comfortable, and beautifully decorated. Everything was spotless and thoughtfully arranged. The location is ideal — peaceful yet just a short walk from everything in Utrecht. I noticed the care and attention to detail in the room straight away, and when I later read the story behind the renovation on the website, I was genuinely moved and impressed.

Just to mention one thing that could be improved is the check-in flexibility. Staff is only available from 16:00 to 18:30, which makes arrival timing a bit limited.

- The staff were always very kind and caring. - Generous breakfast. They left it ready when I had to leave before 8:00. - I arrived early in Utrecht and could leave my luggage at the hotel before the check-in time. - I had a problem with my room and the staff apologized repeatedly and tried to make it less bad. - Beautiful facilities, enough space in my room, nice bathroom.

- Noise in the room, yet they said they would make sure to fix it soon. - I never could finish my breakfast, because it was too much. Maybe explore options to avoid food waste?

Had a lovely stay at Muze over the weekend. It's conveniently located a step's throw from the hustle and bustle of the main street crossing the city centre, and its position alongside one of the canals means the surroundings are very calm and peaceful. The staff and their friendliness was truly the highlight of our stay. Everyone we spoke to was kind, approachable and generous. Breakfast was great, as was our room. We truly had a wonderful time and are already thinking of going back!

Lovely location on the canal and walking distance from the city centre and Dom. Close to the train, tram and bus stops. Very nice and comfortable room with large bathroom. A lot of care taken to personalize the spaces. It's more like a guest house as they don't have a 24 hour desk. But they take good care of you and give you personal attention Breakfast is included in the rate. All facilities including electric kettle and coffee maker provided. They have a lift for the luggage.

Would have liked a cupboard and a larger table to keep things, but manageable

We had a warm welcome when we arrived and was shown to our beautiful room. The room was tastefully decorated, had a very comfortable bed and a wonderful view over trees and the canal. The breakfast was delicious, of good quality and served in beautiful surroundings. We arrived by car on a Saturday and parked on the road outside the hotel where we payed for a day ticket but Sunday was free. There was also cheaper car parking facilities nearby. Communications were friendly and prompt. We will definitely stay again.

We enjoyed the canal side setting of this hotel and had a lovely spacious room overlooking the canal. We enjoyed the walk into the historic centre which was around 20 minutes. We parked our car in a reasonably convenient secure car park nearby (10 minutes walk). Breakfast was very good - the usual continental offering including cheese, meat & boiled eggs. The hotel helpfully provided me with gluten free rolls which were much appreciated (as I am coeliac). The staff were helpful. Overall I would certainly stay here again & recommend this hotel for a visit to the very interesting & historic city of Utrecht

The little balcony off the bathroom (which we didn't use, although we kept the doors open for ventilation) could have been cleaner & tidier as chairs had been provided to sit out there but it did not look inviting. The view over the canal is lovely from there

The hotel is located a short walk from the centre and the train station. Everywhere can be reached on foot. Parking is also relatively easy, although the hotel doesn't offer private parking, there were always plenty of spaces. I liked the quiet environment of the family hotel, absolutely super comfortable bed and nice shower.

The only complaint I would have about the overall accommodation would be the breakfast. 1. the start at 8:00 is really long (at least 7:30 would not be out of place), 2. there are no buffet tables, but a few pieces of bread and something to spread (completely inadequate) 3. It is not even possible to choose juices, There is only orange fresh (this would be fine, but as an option and not as the only soft drink). 4. Do not look then for things like sausage, sausages, cereals - Simply the usual offer of European standard corresponding to the quality of this hotel.

This is a lovely small hotel by the canal, right on the edge of Utrecht city centre, a lovely area in its own right and a 15 to 20 minute walk to the heart of the city. Check-in window may be limited but staff are very accommodating when it comes to leaving luggage and clear instructions are given for obtaining your key. Breakfast was lovely! Overall really good value.

Our particular room has a shower in the room with no privacy. I would prefer the option to pull a shower curtain across.

The friendly staff, excellent facilities, beautiful decor renovated to a very high standard carried out by present owner and family over a course of two years which was documented and available to see online, the location is within walking distance to Utrecht old town, lovely breakfast with good choice of food, good choice of teas and a coffee pod machine in the room

There is nothing to dislike about the muze and would definitely stay again
