Beautiful, spotless rooms with incredible decor. Hotel felt very plush and comfortable. Location was perfect and tucked away so my room was quiet. Coffee machine in room was a very nice touch, as were the beautiful toiletries. I was travelling alone for work and this was the perfect spot for my stay. The Nox staff were incredibly friendly and helpful.

I am being very picky here but the main room lighting was either too bright (overhead lights) or too dim (lamps above bed) depending on which was used. A dimmer/adjustable switch would have been perfect.

Excellent location, close to Old Town, restaurants, shopping, markets, parks, bookstores. Quiet street. Comfy bed.

The room was so dark that it was difficult to see at times. There was a massive espresso machine taking up counter space but no mini-fridge, and nowhere to open a suitcase except the floor. The closet hangers were clanging metal and allowed clothes to slide off them - like the dark paint on the walls, they seemed chosen more for aesthetics than real use.

Comfy bed, the room felt luxurious. Very clean, very kind, helpful staff, great location, very quiet room. The staff was extremely responsive when there was a bit of a problem with inaccurate messaging from Booking.com.

The decor is very dark so I felt like I was in a cave. We got used to it but just not my cup of tea. The lighting seemed inadequate to me. I felt like I couldn't see well the entire time. I also prefer a door between the sink and shower area for more privacy

We paid 30 Eur for the parking (from 3pm to 11am the next morning). For the extra 2 hours (we arrived early) we were asked to pay extra of 8.50 Eur. So, the parking cost us Eur 38.50 for not even 24 hours. That‘s a record rip-off! Not even in Rotterdam neither in Amsterdam did we pay that much! In addition, the air-cond was litterally out of control. Even though I shut it off completely many times, it restarted after 2 minutes by itself and it was blowing like hell and it felt like in a freezer. I had to go downstairs to the reception to be told that they can steer that centrally which they then did.

The welcome and check in experience was fantastic. Staff were very very helpful The bed was very comfortable. The location is right near lots of great restaurants and easy walking distance to everything. We parked our car which was in a safe place. The toilet is separate from the rest of the bathroom, which is always welcome when you’re travelling.

I always find it strange when there is no mini fridge in a room. And like most hotels, the emphasis on making a pleasant experience for coffee drinkers and neglecting tea drinkers. Tea drinkers of the world unite.!! 😆

The front desk team went above and beyond, kindly receiving my package even before I arrived in the Netherlands—a thoughtful touch that made me feel immediately welcomed! The staffs are incredibly friendly and attentive, making my stay all the more enjoyable. The location is unbeatable, just a stone’s throw away from the iconic Domtoren. If your budget allows, The Nox Hotel is an excellent choice. The rooms are truly spectacular! Compared to other hotels in Utrecht city center, The Nox Hotel offers relatively affordable parking fees. Arriving before the 3 pm check-in time allows you to pay based on your parking duration. Front Desk: The front desk staff is exceptionally friendly and attentive. They provide caring assistance and helpful service. Room: We were pleasantly upgraded to a Large Double Room, and it was absolutely wonderful! Being a boutique hotel, every aspect of the room is well thought out. From the intricacies of the shower set to the spaciousness of the high ceiling and the indulgence of the open bathtub, the room exceeded our expectations. The Nox Hotel distinguishes itself as a boutique hotel that pays attention to detail, even down to handwritten notes for their guests and delightful meals at their restaurant. They provide locally sourced brand diffusers and shower sets, which smell fantastic! Additionally, they surprised us with a complimentary Lush bath bomb – a small but thoughtful gesture. If I find myself visiting Utrecht again, The Nox Hotel will undoubtedly be my top choice.

If I absolutely must pick something that could be improved, it would be the lack of anti-slip features in the shower.

the hotel and rooms are gorgeous. we stayed for 3 days and every single front desk/concierge staff we spoke to were professional, helpful and kind. the location is on a quiet street but very close to all the restaurants, shops, and sights. we loved it at the nox.

Very nice and spacious rooms with high ceiling. Very good location. Very good shower and large bathtub. Comfortable bed and pillows. Nicely decorated. High quality toiletries. The hotel provided (with a cost) a birthday surprise for my boyfriend, balloons and a small cake. Attentive staff. Parking right next to the hotel (30 euros for 24hs). For the breakfast the breads with toppings are served on the table together with your request of coffee/thee/ fresh orange juice, then you pick from their menu what you want to eat. There are a lot of options and the quality is top notch, best breakfast i ever had in a hotel.
