The location is excellent. Surprisingly enough, I could hear the sounds of a student town, but it was not too loud at night despite the central location. The beds were comfy enough for a hostel. The trunk/locker provided was large and easy to access (I brought my own lock). The shower was clean with great water pressure and enough hot water. Breakfast was decent enough for a hostel. They provide a locker service to store your bags after checkout for EUR2, which was very helpful and hassle-free.

The shared room (I had a bed in an 8-bed dorm) ran out of toilet paper. Not an issue - I simply asked at the front desk and it was provided.

Had such an amazing stay here in June (Just have been slack in writing reviews!) I stayed with my parents in a private room with an en-suite and it was perfect. It was right bang in the middle of the town sqauare, easy to get everywhere by walking and the train station was close by too. So many great restaurants and bars all around. So glad we did Utrecht and not just Amsterdam! We also did a great day trip to The Hague by jumping on the train. Highly recommend this hostel!

We stayed in a 4-bed mixed dorm and the facilities were nice! clean for a hostel and the beds were comfy. The bed’s don’t have any curtains and the privacy board has holes in them as decoration which was an odd concept but it’s a hostel! so get comfy!

The breakfast is large but somehow feels like it doesn’t have options, but it is cheaper than going to a breakfast place. most staff were nice but some could really fix their attitude.

Friendly staff that is willing to help. (Staff is available 24x7) Hostel right in the heart of Utrecht with public transport, shops, groceries, and restaurants & bars within walking distance (1-10min). Rooms were clean. Beds were comfortable. Showers and toilets in the rooms were good. They offer luggage storage at 2 euro and you can rent a towel at +/- 2-3 euro per stay. Don't forget to bring a lock. Good breakfast with multiple choices offered at 9.95 euro/day. The public library across the Neude square is worth a visit and has plenty of work/study space.

There is a common area to sit on the 1th floor, however there are very little/hardly any wall-plugs to connect your laptop or other devices to there. Nor is there any way of heating up any food there. The next door cafe/restaurant (The 5th) does have those opportunities, however there is a 1 consumption/hour requirement.

The staff is super friendly and always willing to help. The room delivers on what it offers, and the location is very central, unbeatable. It has a large locker where you can store your belongings, even fitting a medium-sized suitcase with a lock. You get sheets and some blankets. And the price is great, I would definitely come back.

The only downsides were that the pillow had very little filling, making it hard to sleep, and that the showers require you to turn on the cold water to get hot water—not because they’re broken, but that’s just how they’re designed. It’s not a big issue, but if no one explains it to you, you might waste some time figuring it out.

Location was excellent. On site cafe was also great and storage facilities for luggage before and after check-in.

We had booked a twin bunk bedroom. Upon arrival, we were first nearly charged 3x the price given at time of reservation and after this was clarified we were then told our room had been upgraded to a larger one. It transpired we were then allocated to a 6 person dorm. This was not consistent with what we had booked. We would have preferred the room type and size we had booked instead of the 6-person dorm. The room also had no window which we would not have booked had we known ( a window is shown in the images of the two person bunk bed room).

This is a chain hostel with more of a hotel atmosphere. Amenities are not bad and the rooms are comfortable and clean. The location was perfect, right in the city with everything you need or would want close by. Lastly, the staff was very helpful, letting me use the WiFi for a university class in the morning before I checked in that afternoon.

This is definitely not really the place to stay if you want a lively hostel atmosphere. Common area is quite dull and the hostel is not set up to where you will meet others easily. Also there is no kitchen to speak of.

Superbly located a short walk from the railway station and situated in a lovely lively square (Neude) near all the main sights. The rooms are very bright with large windows overlooking the square which are great for people watching. Never seen so many cyclists. The clientele are mostly young (there are hostel style dormitories - although we were in a private double). There is a very comfortable and friendly public bar/cafe/restaurant on the ground floor.

No facility to make tea/coffee I'm room (but available relatively cheaply in the in the cafe bar on the ground floor).

Centrally located, a short walk from the Central Station, even shorter walk from historic landmarks such as the cathedral, etc. Faces the famous Neude square which is always bustling. We were grateful for the free bag store which let us wander around on our last day after we checked out.

No chair in the room, and even the common area had just one tired looking couch (and some bar stool style seats) so it wasn't great if you wanted to relax after a long day of cycling and walking. The no alcohol policy meant you can't enjoy a beer while you relax.

The bed was clean and comfortable. I stayed at the upper bed and the ladder was wide enough to be safe. The staff was very helpful when we asked about allocating us to the same bed (upper and down) instead of two separated.

Someone vomited in the only shared toilet in the room overnight so we couldn’t use it in the next day morning. Also the elevator was not functioning due to other guests broke it by jumping in it.
