The location was excellent and easy to find. Rooms are standard but clean and comfortable.Close to plenty of bars. The cathedral is close by, which the bells toll a lot but didn't bother us and rooms left ear plugs in case. Breakfast is a lovely platter of food however, it would have been better to order, as I felt it was slightly wasted, as some things were not to our taste.

Heating wasn't on in the room when we arrived which is fine but we didn't realize we had to turn on the radiator and after we got back later at night, it was q cold but heated up quick enough. No towels provided for the shower. While it is indicated there is a fee to be paid for extra towels, it was not something I expected until we seen there were no towels and checked the booking. Wouldn't have minded paying but also reception closed at 6pm, so this was inconvenient and not sure how we would have requested a towel later in the evening. These could have been prevented if we were aware but as we were only staying one night, we just bag dropped and went exploring until later, which was when we realised the above.

Our stay was lovely. You are right in the center and can do everything by foot. The staff was extremely friendly and the breakfast was even better than we anticipated after reading the good reviews. Even though you're in the center you don't hear the chatter of the people in the streets.

The only thing I can think of is that there was a bell from a nearby clock tower/church going off quite frequently (which obviously they don't have control over), and they even provided disposable earplugs in case it bothers you!

The location is excellent and it included a basic breakfast. The room looked out over a backyard and trees. It felt like an old Dutch house and had just enough modern touches and maintained its charm.

Entrance required going up very steep, old stairs. Difficult with heavy luggage and potentially dangerous if not extremely careful. The only other negative we found was there weren’t electrical outlets on both sides of the bed. Something we have come to expect, but it is an old, old building.

The location was very central. There are just 4 rooms entered by a side door to the cafe. Breakfast in the Anne & Max cafe next door was excellent.

Due to the central location it is noisy outside. We had a back room with the church bells nearby which chime every 15 mins. We soon got used to them though and they didn't bother us too much. At least it's a pleasant tune! It was warm in the room and the window was difficult to keep open. There is a fan on the ceiling which was good, but switched off with the light.

The staff were great, it was warm and comfortable, the location was excellent for our activities, and the breakfasts downstairs were really special.

Getting up narrow steep stairs with two big bags was a challenge, but we were helped (beware there’s no lift if you have mobility issues). We were at the front of the property so the noise from bars adjacent and opposite was very noticeable. A good pair of earplugs helps. We were told the Dom bells might bother us, but they were musical and not a bother at all (might bother some).

Great location in the vibrant old town canal area right next to numerous cafes, restaurants, bars, shops and historic buildings. The bedrooms are above the owner’s cafe with a separate entrance. Superb breakfasts are served in the cafe from 8-11am. It is almost impossible to get close to the B&B by car. Better to park in the Springveg car park as it is literally 3 minutes walk away and drag your luggage to the hotel.

Stairs were steep and the stair carpet a bit grubby but the rooms were very clean and comfortable. Springveg car park is VERY expensive but you could consider moving to a cheaper park once checked in

Very good location and they have a good coffee machine to make some coffee.

The noise and that breakfast is super late! It starts only at 8.00 a.m. on weekday.. When I asked if is possible to get breakfast package to go ( breakfast was included in price), because our flight was at 10, I got an answer that it is not possible, they work from 8. Even though they could prepare and give pastry or something night before..

The B&B is perfectly located right in the heart of the city, with a lively atmosphere all around. You’ll find plenty of bars, pubs, and cafés, many of which open early to start your day. The room was incredibly spacious and comfortable, offering a great space to relax. Breakfast at Anne&Max was both filling and delicious, providing a great start to the day.

The B&B was extremely central, located on a lovely street near the canal, shops and restaurants. The B&B were easy to communicate with right up to our stay and provided all information needed prior to checking in. The check in itself was very easy to use as it was very independent. The room itself was very spacious, simply decorated, good lighting as there were 3 large windows onto the street. My favourite part of the stay was definitely the breakfast. The cafe Anne & Max provided delicious breakfast and coffees every morning. There was a good selection on the menu and was very convient to start the day there. The staff in the café was extremely friendly and approachable.

I think the main recommendation about the room that could be upgraded is the bed. While the bed was very large, we noticed it was two beds connected together. This at times was frustrating as it would slightly come apart while we were sleeping. Another thing to note, while it didn't bother us, as the B&B was very central it did mean there was noise at night. This may be something to be aware if families may be staying. However, we ourselves, found we got a good sleep regardless.

The breakfast was great. This is a good location, easy walking distance from the station. Wonderful city. Good sized room.

It was quite a noisy location but the owners did provide ear plugs. A small fridge would have been useful.
