The bed was sooo comfy and the shower was fantastic. The apartment is in a really quiet location - pretty much silent at night - yet one street across/2 mins away you’ve got the cafes, bars and supermarkets. The street and neighborhood are just beautiful. There’s a little bar across the road but we really didn’t hear a sound and they were all done by 10.30pm. The flat is no more than 5 minutes walk from the Dom (centre of town). It was spotlessly clean. Art was friendly and was available to meet us on arrival. He’d supplied two fluffy towels each and a welcome tinny in the fridge. We would definitely stay again, although we missed access to outside space.

It’s quite expensive and we thought we’d offset some of the cost by self-catering. While the kitchen area looks great, it’s not really set up for anything more than getting a quick snack together. It’s not a cook’s kitchen. But this probably isn’t an issue for most people because there are so many places to eat out. I think some reviews I read had mentioned a smell and it does smell slightly odd (dampproof treatment smell if anyone knows that!) but we just opened the window and it was fine.

I stayed in this charming flat while visiting my daughter, who lives in Utrecht and is studying there. During my visit, she stayed with me so she could focus on studying before her midterm exams—and, of course, get a little spoiled by me! The flat was perfect for us: excellently located within walking distance to shops, restaurants, and the city center, yet in a quiet and peaceful area. It was also an easy walk from the train station, which made getting around very convenient. The flat itself was impeccably clean, efficient, and well-heated, making it a cozy retreat. I especially appreciated the thoughtful touches, like the coffee, tea, and soft drinks provided by the owner. Additionally, there was good/easy communication with the owner. My daughter will be graduating with honors in May, and my husband and I will definitely try to book this flat again for our next visit—it’s a fantastic and convenient place to stay!

While my stay in this flat was overall very nice, there were a few minor drawbacks. Being on the ground floor meant keeping the blinds down for privacy, which made the space feel a bit enclosed at times. Thankfully, the weather was sunny, so we were able to keep them open as much as possible. The jacuzzi tub was out of service—not a big issue for me, but my daughter would have enjoyed using it. Additionally, there was limited storage for clothes, though we managed fine. Despite these small inconveniences, the flat was great.

The apartment is in a lovely old town house in a beautiful street. Well equipped, spacious and clean . There is a bus outside the door which goes to the station from where it’s easy to visit all the towns of The Netherlands . Utrecht is a wonderful city with everything you need, museums, canals , beautiful buildings, gardens and is full of life. There is a lovely bakery round the corner, 2 restaurants within 100 yds and supermarkets ten minutes away. The host Art is very friendly and helpful.

The property was immaculate, with beautiful hardwood floors, a comfortable bed, and a fully equipped kitchen. I wish I stayed longer. The host was also exceptionally welcoming.

The house seemed a bit old, and I could hear footsteps from the floor above. Additionally, there was some construction work next door, which led to early morning noise. However, this wasn’t a major issue as I was up early regardless.

Lovely ground floor apartment in peaceful location close to city facilities and attractions. Hosts were welcoming and helpful, coming quickly to assist when we rather foolishly locked our cash in the combination safe and couldn't get back in!

Would benefit from slightly better lighting in the kitchen/lounge area.

The host was friendly, communicative and welcoming. The accomodation was lovely and exceeded my expectations. The location was excellent - a perfect base from which to explore the city on foot. I would happily stay again!

Sadly the bathtub was out of order.

Apartment was spacious and very well presented. The location was quiet, but close to attractions in the beautiful old part of the city.

It would have been great if there had been a washing machine.

Location right next to Catherina Convent district. Easy walking to all historic areas. Close to shopping and eating areas. Owners were welcoming and great communicators.

Said bed and breakfast but no breakfast. Bath out of order which may be an issue for some people.

Old part of city close to many boutique shops and cafes. Ground floor apartment so easy access for travellers with heavy cases. Good facilities very clean and comfortable..
