I enjoyed very much my stay with a clean and fairly comfortable room with a view to the Janskerk Utrecht (church) and park. Bedside earplugs was a small, nice touch (I always carry my own), however I did not have any problems with noise from the street. They also offered a free drink in exchange for not needing beds turned over and new towels. The location was great, as it was very near the venue for the conference I attended - the Florin pub. One of the best things about this hotel was the excellent restaurant Carmel Market which, although it shares entrance with the hotel, is not affiliated with it. Great drinks and excellent and affordable food!

There was no breakfast at the hotel, but nearby coffee shops more than weighed up for this lack of service. I just wished they had informed me of this upfront so I could have done a little research upfront in order to plan where to go. I can recommend the nearby Anne & Max which opens fairly early.

The location was perfect! Loved that we were able to take our dogs with us. The staff were friendly and helpful. We also liked the concept of choosing whether or not to have the room cleaned.

The room wasn’t cleaned properly. There was hair around the toilet seat and the bathroom. The room also smelled mouldy. The pillow was lumpy. As I mentioned, we loved being able to take our dogs with us but if you charge 25€ a day for them, it would have been nice to have at least water bowl for them in the room and perhaps a blanket.

The location is excellent, there is a bus station right in front of the hotel, the room is large and nicely furnished with a very big bad and the bathroom is clean with all the things you need for your hands and body.

A little bit more attention is needed to clean the corners and the window sills. At night young people have fun until 2 in the morning so it's a bit hard to fall asleep but this is the risk of having the hotel in the heart of the city.

The rooms were spotless and well-equipped with essentials like towels, soap, shampoos, shower gels, etc. and a hairdryer. There were thoughtfully provided coffee pods, tea, sugar and water. In addition, there was a huge selection of snacks and drinks by the entrance, which could be purchased at any time of the day or the night and the staff was super friendly! And as a bonus—the location was great!

The blankets were very thick and warm, but overall the room was a bit cold.

The location is perfect in Utrecht! Walkable and biking to everywhere you want to go. Wonderful canals and restaurants so close to the hotel. The city is vibrant and fun! The hotel is charming and historic. Our room was very spacious with a beautiful view of the church. The staff are very helpful and friendly. We loved our visit and look forward to staying in other NH properties. Thank you for a lovely experience!

Comfortable room with tea/ coffee making facilities, central location with very nice restaurant adjacent. Modern bathroom with hair dryer/ usual hair & body products

Because of the period windows and the room being next to a busy road it was noisy. Unfortunately on the Saturday at 4.30 am there were a group of people rowing directly outside. Couldn’t be helped but was disrupted sleeping

The location is very good situated, at the edge of pedestrian/city center, close to the bus station (10 m away). The staff was very helpful

Unfortunately the comfort was not as expected since during the evening/night the restaurant close to the hotel was noisy and the quality of the soundproofing was not as expected.

Step out of the hotel and you are surrounded by the streets, shops and cafes of Utrecht. Staff are very friendly and helpful. The room was very smart and comfortable and everywhere was beautifully clean. The curtains are the best anywhere for blocking out light so you sleep well. The room was quiet because we were at the back (this did mean no view but was ok as we were just staying overnight). I really wish I could have stayed longer.

I love everything about this hotel due to the following; the beds are very comfortable, the room is nice and cozy, the breakfast; mainly tea is really good when waking up early in the morning. The bicycle parking is nice and secure that it is convenient for bicycles and ebikes since I am a bicycle fan. The hotel itself is in a very convenient area for cyclists and pedestrians when it comes to sight seeing.

A nice 3-star hotel located right in the city center, in a historic building with a view of a church. The room was clean and comfortable, with bathrobes and slippers, a full set of toiletries in the bathroom, and coffee and tea, which was a lovely touch. I would definitely stay here again.
