Staff welcomed me so positive, sincere and friendly. The location is directly in the city center, full of cafes/bars/restaurants. The place itself is pub actually :) The single bed and pillows were comfortable (even for a 188-cm-person). There is a Nespresso coffee machine in the room.

There is a shower in the room but not toilet. So you have to use the shared one. I don't know if other rooms have, I stayed in a single-bed room in the first floor. Cuz of the surrounding restaurant-bars, it can be a bit noisy till 01:00 am, but i think windows are quite soundproofed. Room doors in general are closed unfortunately loudly...

THE BED. In fact - I wrote them a private message to see if I could know the brand name of the pillows and mattress they use because it was THAT comfortable. The Staff were very friendly and helpful. The restaurant has really nice food and quite good prices. The location is centrally located so easy to get to-from where you need to go whether that's shopping, restaurants or central station, or in my case -- school. It was the perfect spot and would definitely stay here again.

Nothing really. Although it can be a bit noisy due to the location in the center, it's not something they can control and they leave really nice ear plugs for you to help. First time I've ever experienced that! I travel a lot for school and often stay in noisy areas. But this is the first time a hotel was proactive and left some earplugs to mitigate that noise. So no, there was nothing I didn't like.

The hotel is next to the clocktower and it's absolutely delightful, the tower chimes every 15 minutes but it does stop overnight. Despite being so close to the tower the noise isn't overwhelming so you just get to enjoy it. The facilities are kept very clean, and the cleaners come daily to tidy the rooms. We chose a suite room so we got our own toilet and shower, so I can't speak about the shared facilities. There was also a very convenient sink within the main bedroom so we could easily clean up before bed without having to go downstairs to the bathroom. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and we slept like babies. The suite can sleep up to 4 people as there is also a sofa bed. Plus within the room you have a nice sized breakfast bar that is under a skylight (ours actually looked out to the clocktower). The other window in the main room is a cute little bay/nook window that looked out onto the main square. Despite this it was actually very quiet. The downstairs area is really just the bathroom and a coat rack, plus a small amount of space under the stairs where you could easily put your suitcase. There's another window here that looks out into the pub garden, but again despite this it was fairly quiet. The daily breakfast was a nice little selection of fresh bread, meats, cheese, plus some overnight oats, yoghurt (with a range of toppings) and pastries. My partner said that the croissants were probably the best he had ever had. We did also get dinner from the pub one night and it was fantastic with generous portions. Overall I highly recommend this hotel and would absolutely come back again

My only complaints would be: - The downstairs blind is missing the string so we had to open and close it by hand - The skylight blind and window is difficult to reach to open/close - The downstairs sink only has cold water and is quite small - Some other guests were constantly letting their doors slam shut, which wasn't an issue in the daytime but did wake me up once or twice Honestly these were very minor things and nothing we really felt any need to actually complain to the hotel about. Just some things that could probably be considered.

We had 4 people, so we rented 2 rooms. One on the lowest floor which was room was spacious, quiet, and private. It was clean, light and bright with large windows and a private patio. The upstairs room (with private bath) was less spacious, but had a nice view of a beautiful building and a peek into the central square. Excellent breakfast. Friendly staff. Short walk to central station. Amersfort is a lovely town. We recommend going to the pub in the evening and sitting in the room with the glass ceiling. Gorgeous surprise view.

Thank you so much for making us feel so welcome in beautiful Amersfoort! - great location, pub below, other restaurants nearby and a stone’s throw from the high street. The church tower is of course next door and the tourist information centre too - lovely room: small but decent enough to store bags and not feel squashed - nice to have a little table in there on wheels as well as a sink - nice and clean and a very comfortable bed! We had great night’s sleep both nights we were there - option to have breakfast in the nice pub below

- had to wait for a shower as there was only 1 on the first floor. Luckily it wasn’t very busy though so didn’t have to wait too long

Superior breakfast with flaky croissants, crispy fresh baked buns, fresh loaf cake ,fruit, yogurt, your choice of coffee, fresh squeezed OJ. When they ran out of buns, the staff baked more, even though there were still several croissants left. A welcome drink at the bar when you arrive. We took the suite on the top floor which was enormous. The restaurant had lots of indoor and outdoor seating. They were right at the heart of the old town, by the tourist information centre.

If you choose the suite be aware that there are many steps from the bathroom to the bedroom.

It is a simple but pleasent place to stay. The rooms are small and up the stairs. Don't expect any kind of business-like hotel, but enjoy the cosyness, the friendly staff and the good food and beers in the bar, not to mention the central location. For the price, it is excellent value for the money, and by train you can reach Amsterdam City in less than an hour.

The matresses were a bit to soft to my opinion, but that is really not a problem.

Well situated in the fantastic Old Town. Very good breakfast and a very good shower.

Slightly odd to have an en suite shower, rather than a toilet. Walking upstairs, particularly during the night when trying to not possibly disturb other guests to use one was unusual I felt. Renovation had obviously taken place though as you had to pass through an old shower stall to get to some rooms.

I didn't know what to expect from staying at a pub, but everything was great! From the friendly staff to the clean room, it had everything I needed. The location was perfect, middle of the town on a square with different bars and restaurants (and a market on Fridays); I even brought my colleagues to the pub for a drink.

Rooms & furniture weren't sparkly new, but perfectly clean so that wasn't an issue.

Small but clean and comfortable. Perfect location right in the heart of the old town! There's a little bit of noise if you keep the windows open but it didn't bother me at all. Breakfast was excellent and included both cappuccino and freshly squeezed orange juice so I felt it was good value.

There was a coffee machine but no kettle - that would be a nice addition!
