Stayed here before, will stay again. Nice location, very quiet despite being next to the central train station (they must have sound proofing or something).

Food/drinks felt a little expensive, but then you have a whole shopping mall with Starbucks etc. less than 30 steps away.

After arriving (by delayed train). I had a quick checking experience. I've been here before and the hotel was still perfectly situation for people who come for "Spellenspektakel" in the Jaarbeurs. The pool and sauna were also relaxing again, although slightly more busy than usual. The fridge in my room found a lot of use since it allowed me to go to a nearby grocery store instead of eating out every night.

Too many people fail to use towels in the sauna. They drip their sweat straight onto the benches. I also found two bottles in a towel cupboard near the pool even though glass was prohibited in the area. I would like to see staff keeping an eye on things to make sure rules are adhered to. Unfortunately, most of the lockers near the pool did not work. I even had to call reception once to have them unlock my locker to get my clothes and room card back.

Location and breakfast are great! Breakfast has a wife variety of products and the hotel is super close to Utrecht Centraal and right in front of Hoog Catharijne. The wellness area is also well equipped and part of it (mainly the gym) has a good view to the station (which is kind of my like). The bedroom was big and the bathroom had a shower and bathtub.

The view of the room was not what I expected. The view to the back of the hotel was much more interesting. Even though the sauna and steam bath are a great add, they seemed to not working properly - both lacked intensity. And to an hotel that includes - for free - the wellness area, the bathrobe should be free of charge.

The location was great. We liked being able to get off the train with our luggage and checking into the hotel. The weather wasn’t great so I am glad we were not required to walk through the center to find a hotel. Also, a large mall is across the street for when the weather did not cooperate. Amsterdam Centraal and the airport are each only 30 minutes away by train. The air conditioning was very good too and allowed some air movement. We barely heard the trains though you could see them through our window. Finally, breakfast was excellent.

It was very expensive, but no more expensive that other hotels in the area. (Why are hotels so expensive in Netherlands?)

Great wellness area included in the price. Rooms are nicely renovated and spacious. Good beds and showers. We took the breakfast and found it good and good value for money.

Bathroom has a glass sliding door providing no sound isolation at all. Very limited amenities in the bathroom for this category of hotel. Area is walking distance to the centre but not the most charming in Utrecht. Rooms might be right on top of the railway tracks- ok if windows are closed otherwise it’s constant noise. However it’s quiet at night and we had no problems sleeping.

Staff at the front desk to the restaurant were really accommodating and helpful. I had a knee injury and the staff made sure we had assistance. Will return soon.

We called and asked for late check out, particularly because I had mobility issues and the Receptionist said it was available and confirmed. 20 mins after 11am another Receptionist called asking why we werent checked out, despite already reserving late check out hours before. He continued to ask us if we knew that there was a charge for that. Which we said yes... it was already discussed before and on the website. There should be better communication with front staff when they are changing shifts so that customers arent interrupted and having to repeat information.

When we eventually found the car park and hotel, it was extremely nice. Large comfy room, with good breakfast and dinner.

It took us ages to find car park, which is not signposted well for strangers. Because it was the Saturday before Christmas, it was extremely busy, both with cars and people, which obviously didn’t help. Also, having left the car in the car park, the hotel needs better instructions to find the place. Very straightforward once you know, but otherwise not easy. Service in restaurant was a bit slow at dinnertime, but staff apologised and gave us a drink.

Very modern with decent room size, great location to visit Utrecht or to take the train and visit Amsterdam. The room was very clean.

We’ve had the wellness suite. I was expecting to be a bit higher up, have a better view. All we could see was a building site on one side and the train track on the other. Being at lower level we could hear the trains passing. I didn’t like the minibar being empty. We got there, tired and thirsty and had not one cold drink in the room waiting for us. At least a complementary bottle of water would have been a nice touch. Little things make a big difference.
