Beautiful location and the staff were so helpful with suggestion on where to eat. Breakfast and dinner on site were fantastic and the bar had a great selection of drinks

We booked 4 rooms all at the same price. While all a little dated there were very comfortable and clean. We did however get room that were all different. One was beautiful with doors onto the courtyard. Another could access the courtyard but the other 2 were relatively small.

Very good value for an overnight stay while on business trip. I was satisfied with the cleanliness of the room when I arrived. The room was much larger than I expected. The bed was comfortable and the toilet was cleaned well. Hotel is located in an area very close to nature, excellent for running or short walk outside. Breakfast was basic but the choices and quality was good to start the day. There is enough parking spaces for those coming by car.

I forgot to turn on the heater when I left for dinner. So the room was cold when I returned and it took some time to get the temperature up to comfortable level. The carpet in the room and hallway definitely need a refresh or update. A major road to the hotel was closed due to road works, this lead to some issues getting to the hotel. Its not really the hotel's fault but they should address this with the town especially considering that €3/night/person is charged as city tax.

The hotel is very cozy. Rooms are large and comfortably furnished. The sanitary ware in the bathrooms is new. In-room coffeemakers are available and coffee is refilled every day. Room 62 has a sunny balcony. Room 61 has 2 sinks. Room 57 has a very large extra floor, 2 TVs and comfortable chairs and sofas. Breakfast was good and adequate. The hotel restaurant is in a separate - beautiful and historical - house. Make a restaurant reservation upon arrival or even before this.

There were some service problems during breakfast rush hour. There could be more fresh salad at breaksfast. The hotel restaurant location was not known until it was time to be at resturant. Make sure you book your restaurant visit in advance.

The location and facilities within the property where fantastic. The staff were also very helpful and a pleasure to talk to.

The property it's self was looking a little tired, I understand it's an old building but some of the marks on the walls could be filled in and painted over.

- charming building - fantastic outdoor breakfast area - ample parking at the premises - clean bathroom - cozy bar - Kerkrade city centre is at 1.5-2kms distance

- Truth be told … rooms are a little outdated and could benefit from a brush up (especially the carpet) - Beds are too soft for our taste (that’s personal of course)

Water leaked all over the floor when we took a shower because there was a open gap in the rubber barrier of the shower door,

As it was only for night I can't say a great deal but what I experienced was a lovely quite hotel and got a good nights sleep. Breakfast in the morning was excellent with plenty of choice

Beautiful and room is very clean. Of course like other reviews yes, you notice some furniture in the room is out dated. That did not bother us. It was a great place to stay the night children loved the room.

The caste's exterior is historic, but the interior isn't, just an ordinary carpeted hotel.
