We recently stayed at the Thon Hotel in Rotterdam and had a fantastic experience from start to finish. When we arrived, the hotel was full and our room wasn’t ready yet, but the staff were genuinely warm, friendly, and went out of their way to help with all our needs. We were able to leave our luggage and explore the city without any hassle. When we returned for check-in, we were delighted to find that we’d been upgraded — and our new room had the most incredible view over the river. The location is absolutely perfect, making it easy to enjoy all that Rotterdam has to offer right on your doorstep. .

The location of this hotel is excellent. It is right on the water, with great views of the Erasmus bridge and easy access to the harbor cruise terminal. Walking along the waterfront is very easy from here, and trams and Uber make getting to other areas of town very simple. The rooms with balconies are great to enjoy the scenery, and the bed in our room was very comfortable. I loved how spacious the room was and that it had a fridge and safe. The desk staff helped with recommendations, and they stored our luggage after check-out so we could explore more before catching our train.

Water view, quiet, comfortable, spacious. Location for Water bus and Spido tours was perfect. We ate twice at Twenty 7, excellent food and view.

The only breakfast option was a 24Euro buffet. The price is much too high, and there are no other options nearby. There should be an a la carte menu for a more simple healthy breakfast. Wonderful City walking tour with Yoreh RotTOURdam tours and easy train to Delft.

Great location next to river. Very close to cruise port.Tram stop very close. Nice restaurant and bar. Other restaurants close by. Lovely spacious room with view on river. There is a lift. Coffee machine in room. Very friendly and helpful staff. I have to mention Tanya at reception going the extra mile with great, friendly service and kind assistance.

Everything was really amazing. If I must mention something here it is that the lady at the restaurant in the evening was not so friendly and that was all that was a little dissapointing.

The hotel located on the river Meuse its beautiful location and l had river view .The bed was lovely, clean and bathroom was lovely too .Its great location for walking down the river bank and going to near by park. its also next to boat rides .I would book again.Worth the money

You can feel the metro go over the bridge in my hotel room but that not hotel fault.As its very nice metro bridge

we have stayed at the thon over several years staying at least twice a year. We don't take breakfast , so no comment. It was good to see some of the staff we are familiar with still there. All staff are very professional and receptive to guests needs. The location is ideal for both a maritime binge and any retail therapy you wish to indulge in. 1

A more varied main course menu, I have mentioned this over a long period of time, food is always good and we eat every night in the bistro however a more varied menu would be good.

EXCELLENT LOCATION, CENTRAL TO MAIN SHOPPING CENTRE. TRAMS STOP OUTSIDE HOTEL SO IDEAL TO TRAVEL AROUND CITY. WE STAY AT THE THON AT LEAST 2/3 TIMES A YEAR, IT CERTIANLY MEETS OUR NEEDS, THE STAFF ARE EXCELLENT, SOME OF WHICH WE KNOW FROM OVER THE LAST FEW YEARS. THE FOOD IS GOOD AND THE OVERALL SERVICE IS OF A HIGH STANDARD.

The location is ideal. On the river adjacent to the Erasmus Bridge. Tram stop at the hotel front door. Walking distance to city center and many attractions like the EuroMast. Views from the riverside rooms are incredible. Breakfast was good, with a fine selections of items and kept stocked and fresh.

The rooms are a bit small, but clean and comfortable. The bathroom is a postage stamp, but the shower was great. The decor in the hallways was a bit dated (remodel coming soon I understand?). There is only one elevator, so if you are trying to get in/out at a busy time, it can take quite a while.

I got a room with a view and I loved it, having a view of the river lit up at night and a nice big tub to soak in after a long day around town. Priceless.

The area can be a little noisy, even at night due to the bridge. For those that are light sleepers, this might not be best.

As our visit centred on taking a river cruise the location was absolutely excellent & having a river view from our room was a huge bonus. Hotel is quickly accessible from Central Station by tram which stops outside. The room itself was comfortable & clean if a little short of space. Good storage though. All staff were very pleasant & helpful. Breakfast was a buffet with a very good choice of hot & cold food, pastries etc. but not cheap at €23 each.
