The location close to the centre, the quirkiness and the food, which was sensational and a top chef.

There is no storage for clothes. The rooms were small, which was to be expected as it's a boat! However, they could have some bedside tables with drawers or some hooks on the walls on either side of the bed to hang clothes. It didn't spoil the stay but made it a bit uncomfortable with 5 days of clothing.

It's a boat! Amazing location less than 10 minutes walk from the the train station (with connections to Centraal) and the food court. The hotel itself is very cool, lovely bar and restaurant downstairs (including a free glass of cava on arrival and free coffee) and the staff were all really nice. I would definitely recommend this place, and we will stay again!

It is a short walk from station Blakk. Breakfast was good. The room was one of the upper rooms, so had direct access to the outside.(if you are concerned about security; then I would ask for an inside room). There was a small heater to heat the room which worked well to heat the space.

Breakfast limited and expensive... I was told I could have a courtesy drink at the bar, I had a beer. When I checked out I had to pay for the beer as beer wasn't included. I definitely wasn't told that. Very weird.

The staff are amazing so friendly and helpful. Even though I have stayed here before they still go out of there way to tell me places to visit and the must things to do in Rotterdam. Funnily enough on this visit the young barman saw my football pin badge and explained the three teams in Rotterdam. Yes this is sport, point being the guy new my reasons for being there, and wanted me to know a bit history and culture. You can't buy this experience. Sure he will have similar history and culture for your visit, whatever that maybe. Wonderful people.

Breakfast was nice but a little expensive, Would much prefer the old way of a buffet service. Then you can choose what you like and not what you are given. Not a lot to really complain about, stayed here a few times but if I had to pick one other then keep the bar open later. Out and about and needing a chill time back at the hotel, Maybe the time of year, fair enough (this trip was in November) other trips bar open after 11:00pm

Great location, ideal to explore the city. Professional staff. Lovely to be on the water. We had a room with a terrace and that makes the experience even better! The hotel has a really nice vibe, not just some chain hotel with cookie cutter feel but it stands on it's own, more unique. Room has a good size, as does the shower. WIFI is good, enough sockets to charge what ever you want. We did not have breakfast so I would not know, we decided to check out De Markthallen and eat there. It's open from 10:00 AM and have a lot of different choices. The hotel has a bar and terrace outside which is very nicely decorated. In the room, coffee, tea and glasses are in the closet, I saw in previous reviews that people couldn't find it. Parking is close by but public but very easily found and just a 2 minute walk. Overall a very good stay and would stay again!

Not really negatives. It is stated very clearly what is in the room and what is not, check before you book. Yes, I would have liked to have an fridge/minibar but I knew when booking it was not there. Yes, I have stayed in hotels with better beds but they are comfortable and clean. Yes, it can be noisy but not too much and remember, you are on a boat in the centre of the city of Rotterdam. This is not a 5 star hotel but a very good 3 star with pleasant staff, enough amenities, nice rooms and a great ambiance. Hard to go wrong on this one!

What we liked most of all was the restaurant - such a beautiful and comfortable area to spend the evening! We didn't have dinner there but it was the perfect place to relax after a long day. The staff, particularly in the restaurant, was so nice and the breakfast was okay.

The ground floor rooms facing the river are great, those facing the street are not. At low tide you face the wall, at high tide your window goes directly onto the sidewalk. I ended up having my curtains closed for the entire stay because I felt like an animal in the zoo, on display for any passers-by. The rooms were really cold on arrival and it took more than a day of heating to get them to a comfortable temperature. As the bathroom doesn't have a radiator or AC, I had to leave the door open day and night so that the room's heating would also heat the bathroom. I didn't do that at first and had a freezing bathroom in the morning...

Just stayed at H2OTEL, and wow - what a wonderful place! Spending nights on a boat adds something special to a Rotterdam visit. It makes me feel like I'm in a seaside resort but still in the middle of the city. The room was super comfy, with awesome views of the water. Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere in the room and the hotel itself is so welcoming and warm! The location couldn't be better, just minutes from everything - museums, market, docks and train/tram station, and there's a supermarket right across the street. The restaurant was surprisingly amazing - delicious and top-quality food. Loved sitting on the terrace in the evening. Definitely recommending this place - it's not just a hotel, it's an experience! Can't wait to come back.

Gteat Location, smiley and helpful staff. We were allowed to leave our luggage for a couple of hours before and after our stay. Great consept. Cosy bar and restaurant.

The room in which we stayed didn't have an opening window. As it was in the lower deck, if we wanted to have a cigarette or just some fresh air, we had to get dressed and walk through the whole boat to go outside. Also, no view at all from our room. Just the canal wall.
