This hotel is in a fantastic location — close to everything and super convenient for exploring the area. I appreciated the map of the city with highlights from the hotel plus the hotel app to help us find everything we needed. The room was large, beautifully maintained, and really comfortable.

The only downside to our stay was the car park across the street. Unfortunately, a car alarm started going off around 5 a.m. and continued for hours. It was incredibly frustrating, though I completely understand it was outside the hotel’s control. Despite that hiccup, the hotel itself was wonderful. I’d definitely consider staying again—hopefully without the early morning wake-up call next time!

The beds were comfortable and the location is unbeatable - right in the center, close to everything. The staff were super friendly and helpful. I had a few special requests that were taken care of immediately.

The breakfast was odd - you had to pay for things a la carte which was kind of a pain. You could pay a flat rate of 15 euros I believe, but there wasn't really 15 euros worth of things to get. The selection was very limited - basically coffee, bread, jam, boiled eggs, cereal and yogurt. A bit disappointing.

We have stayed at this hotel before. What can we say that we haven’t before. Very close to all amenities. Professional yet relaxed atmosphere when walking into the hotel. We didn’t have to wait for someone to speak with us. Hotel was spotless and the room was lovely. We were upgraded and thank the hotel for this a lovely gesture. The team were polite and friendly and couldn’t be more helpful. Exceptional and we would book again and have recommended to family and friends. Thank you for another lovely stay

Just turn the smell of the air freshener down in the room as it started to give me a headache. But that’s a very small issue. There is nothing to dislike with the hotel really.

One of the best hotels I ever stayed!!! The stuff is so polite, helpful and goes the extra mile to make customers happy! In the perfect location and there is parking (paying extra) opposite of the hotel , very convenient. It was our 2years anniversary and we were offered the junior suite in 16th floor which was simply amazing! There was a personalised note also for us. All those details make a stay unforgettable. I am amazed from the hospitality!! Also the room was so nicely decorated! So elegant! I cannot recommend enough this hotel 🍾🍾🙂THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING!

Even with our location, 12th floor (probably a Booking.com upgrade 👍) and excelente soundproof window and room. We need to deal diring the night with a unaccetaple behavior of street racers (tunning cars and motorbikes) making lots of noise with engines and honking the vheicles like in a parade between 11pm and 3 am. I think its a police issue. You and other hotels in the area should react. Bad for everybody. Your hotel and amazing staff deserves better. Rui

The location is fantastic, everywhere in the city centre is 10-15 minutes walk away at most, but often less. There are lots of shops, restaurants and supermarkets nearby. The hotel was luxurious with stylish and modern decor. There is a 24 hour reception desk and the staff were friendly, welcoming and professional. The room was very spacious, comfortable and impressive. The bed was great, the fridge and safe were very useful and the water pressure in the shower was good. If you choose to skip house keeping, the hotel plants a tree for each day you skip it. We ordered the birthday package which was a lovely surprise for my partner. Everything was easy from check in to check out and we had a lovely stay. We would definitely stay here again.

The room was big and nicely arranged. The location is perfect, walking distance from Rotterdam Blaak station. The reception staff were very friendly. There was some at reception at 3:30 in the morning when we arrived. Water was available in the lobby. The room was silent.

On arrival we had to pay an extra fee €100 as a guarantee in case we destroyed something in the room. The room was not perfect. The bin in the toilet was broken. The door scratched. Nobody escorted us to the room to note the defects down. I hope the guarantee is returned.The room could not be described as clean.. The cleaning team forgot their bathroom spray in our room. I could not trust walking on the floor without sleepers.

The location is well situated and the room very nice according to our expectations We loved the self check-out bar at the hotel which was available 24/7

The view was nice; we could see other skyscraper buildings but we had a big parking rooftop in front of our room so that was the only b minus point for us

We had the greatest pleasure staying at the James hotel on a recent visit to Rotterdam. The hotel is situated in the city centre, a 12-15 minute walk from Central station. We arrived at the hotel around 11am and checked in and although the room wasn't due to be ready until 3pm we we able to leave our luggage in a secure room so we could set off and explore. We returned for a re-charge around 2.30pm and the room was ready for us. We had booked a wheelchair accessible room which was huge. The room had a super king-size bed (so, so comfy), desk, comfy chair, coffee and tea machine, TV with Dutch and English channels. The bathroom was a fully accessible wet room, rain fall shower, toilet, stool and chair for the shower, towels a d a hairdryer. The hotel doesn't have a bar or restaurant, instead it has a self service mini mart, which is absolutely incredible. Food, snacks, wines, beers and soft drinks are available 24/7 and are very reasonably priced. The mini-mark is situated in the lounge which is absolutely stunning, lots of space, tables, chairs and couches. The rooms, lounge and reception are beautifully decorated, very modern and relaxing. The staff were incredible, polite and very knowledgeable about the area. I can't recommend the James hotel enough and I can't wait to re-vist in the future.

We had a wonderful stay. The hotel is located near all the shops and restaurants, only a 10 min walk from the central station. We were able to checkin early and got a complimentary room upgrade! Our room was spacious, comfortable, clean, and had a nice view of Rotterdam. You can find a tiny „supermarket“ in the hotel, open 24/7, where you can buy food, snacks, and souvenirs. Such a good idea! The staff was welcoming, very friendly, and helpful. This is how you do hospitality!
