Good location close to many restaurants and a short walk from public transportation. Staff from Hotel Emma was very pleasant during check-in. Room was comfortable, with safe large enough to fit laptop. No kitchen in room, but well-stocked coffee corner open from 6AM to 11PM.

Overall cleaning standards were OK, but there wasn't much attention to detail- drinking glasses weren't changed, for example. The air conditioning was a little fiddly, with no real way to shut off or change mode (even when "off", the fan remained on). Keep in mind that there are steep steps (around half a flight) in the entrance to the hotel, which can't be avoided.

Exceptional experience! The room was amazing, all staff were extremely kind and helpful! The location was absolutely perfect, a step to metro, busses and tram, near shops and restaurants! The interior was so beautiful and stylish, we had an amazing view of the Rotterdam from a huge window and there was a fully equipped kitchen in pantone tones, with free coffee and everything you need to start your day! We would definitely come back again and we recommend it 100% Thank you so much team.

The hotel is very modern with clean spacious rooms. There is an elevator in the building and a little kitchen where you can get coffee in the morning. Check-in is at the sister hotel "Hotel Emma" just 3 walking minutes from Hotel Unplugged. There are many restaurants bars and shopping possibilities nearby and a metro station right outside. Though the hotel in the middle of the centre it was quite. Parking is available nearby for additional charges.

Good choice in downtown Rotterdam. The room is very clean. The size is compact, but acceptable. The bathroom, on the other hand, is spacious and also very clean. The shower's good. The hotel is within a walking distance from the train station if you travel light. There are restaurants, cafes and excellent bars nearby. We were able to reach many tourist spots by foot. There's a coffee machine and some biscuits for the guests all day long, for free. I'd recommend this hotel.

Overpriced, but maybe it's just the rule in Rotterdam downtown. No table nor chairs in the room, but the space is enough for a couple for some days.

Location and cleanliness

At check in your should be told about the night door policy. Very scary to find your door card does not work at 2am, have no idea what to do about it, and have to wait for someone to return to reception at the sister hotel round the corner to help you. Also, please dont put solo females in the basement room. There is only a low fence between the bedroom window and an inner city park, and there were some very strange noises outside my window one night.

Ideal for travellers with social anxietes: you don´t have to meet anoyone. Check-in on a terminal in a nearby hotel Emma, for check-out you just drop the key card to a box on the front door. Noone is greeting you, aksing you how are you doing today, wishing a nice day. Plus perfect location!!!! The place in front of the Unplugged is apparently popular among people who don´t fit in this capitalist system. They are not too loud and when you see them in the street, they understand yr body language, no offense.

Someone should think again about the "funny" (?) inscription on the wall by the bath tub. "Nice butt!" is not what you want to read on the wall in your hotel room.

Unplugged is less than a 20-minute walk from the train station and next to several nice restaurants and bars. Also, it is close to some of Rotterdam's best museums. Although there is no reception (it is at Hotel Emma), it is easy to access it. There is free espresso and tea.

Hotels are expensive in The Netherlands in general, so don't wait a bargain simply because there is no reception, no breakfast on site.

Our experience at dear Lisbon was truly exceptional, and what stood out the most was the genuine warmth and kindness of the staff. Their attentiveness made us feel like cherished guests, providing a level of hospitality we haven't experienced in quite some time. From the moment we arrived, the welcoming atmosphere created a sense of comfort that added a personal touch to our stay. The little gestures and attention to detail truly made this hotel truly special. The breakfast catered to the wishes of everyone, and the location was perfect. Just a tip: go for a room with a bigger bed if you prefer extra space. Overall, highly recommended!

The location suited us very well. Having a small communal kitchen area was a real bonus.

Our wet room/shower room was a little awkward as it was difficult to stop shower water from going all over the floor. After having a shower it was not practical to use the toilet or sink until the floor had dried. Perhaps the provision of a moveable rubber barrier on the floor across the entrance to the shower would help.

The youngish guy at reception when we checked in was very kind, smiling and helpful. He instantly put our stay at a positive place. Room was great, and had an imaginative and smart design so that its being a relatively small space actually worked to its advantage. We were impressed! The view over the surrounding buildings was fun, like a personal cityscape. Room could have been a little cleaner, but in general was fine. Toiletries provided were good quality and in pump refill bottles, which was another positive. The location was fabulous, approx. 10 minutes walk to the station, and with several cosy bars close by. Communal coffee machine and biscuits were a really nice touch. Coffee was good quality, delicious.

Room cleaning could have been somewhat improved. In general it wasn't a problem though. Felt like the stairwell area could have done with a lick of paint but the communal coffee area was well designed, fresh and kept very clean.
