Top location. Very friendly staff. Comfortable bed. My particular room was on the garden site where it was absolute quit. Quite AC and able to open the windows. Spend here four days. Yes, some parts are a bit outdated though, nothing to avoid the place. All the basics are functioning. This hotel is located in a vibrant nightlife area. Expect some noise and fumes. If you don't like that, go somewhere else. FD is a relative quite retreat in a busy street. Would definitely stay in FD again.

Did not like the tone of the girl when we were going out, she screamed that bringing people it's not allowed and that they will charge my deposit. Yes, you pay deposit. I did not know that my friends are coming, they have said that they can not attend the festival and suddenly they arrived before us going out as it was my birthday. The girl from reception could tell me that in more formal way than screaming, but it was not planned at all either.

Quick check-in, we were helped by a very lovely eldery woman to get our bags up to the 3rd floor. Not a very spacious room, a huge area being coverd by the bed, but it really didn't pose a problem to us, and considering how comfortable it was, we dismissed it rather quickly. Great location, , some people might find the neighbourbood quite loud, it being filled with bars and restaurants, but again we didn't mind. After travelling 3 weeks through Austria, Italy, France, The Netherlands and Germany, I think this room is in top 3.

Central location. I got a room facing away from the street, so very quiet an not bothered by the noisy neighbourhood. The staircase does not come across as clean, but the room was fine. Only issue was the lift did not work on the 3rd floor. I had a small carry on so it was not an issue, for me but if travelling with a lot of luggage, make sure to flag this

The room was beautiful, quiet and comfortable. The bathroom was gorgeous and had nice toiletries (hand wash, shampoo, body wash). Staff were very helpful and spoke English well. We could store our luggage on the day we checked out, until it was time to go for our train. The location is brilliant - 15 minute walk from the train station. It is on a very lively, trendy street full of bars and restaurants. Check out time of 11am was helpful.

Hardly any space to store clothes (a couple of clothes hangers and a few wall hangers). No tea/coffee making facilities in the room, although you could ask at reception. No bottled water.

Very small but cute room, enough for a short stay. The bathroom and especially shower are much better and Bigger than expected. Location is very convenient and central, the street is one of the most famous for nightlife so could be a bit crowded and noisy, for me it was not a problem. 10 mins walking far from train station Stairs to arrive at the second floor were a real "experience" , the elevator as well :)

My room was in 4th floor. The lift in a hotel is lift for disabled. You need to keep floor number pressed whole the way up otherwise lift will stop. About 1,5 minute :-D My finger got a purple colour. Room was large, clean. Great large bed. Next to the hotel entrance is a Coffee House. Smell of marihuana in the morning and evening was recognized in whole hotel area :-D

The room was clean, room tidy and with everything you need. The design of the room is very modern and beautiful. Shower gels, towels and bed linen were present in the room. The location of the hotel is wonderful, it is located almost in the center and takes literally 5 minutes to it.

When checking in, IT WAS NOT INDICATED ANYWHERE that you would have to pay an additional 100 euros. This was incompetent on the part of the hotel, as there simply might not be that amount available, or people might expect to spend it on something else. Yes, they promise to return the refund after 2–5 days after check-out, if everything goes well with the room, but for someone, it can be a serious amount that you would not want to lose, especially suddenly. Also, for some reason, on the second day, our key to the room stopped working and we could not get into our room.

The bathroom was very spacious and cozy, everything was clean and the staff was very friendly. They even offered ear plugs against the noise, since the hotel is right in the city center on a busy street

The towels were clean but a bit frayed, and the pillows were very thick and hard which I didn't like. In addition, my room was on the first floor and the glass was not one way or iced, there were no thin curtains, only the heavy blackouts, so I felt like I had to keep the windows covered at all times otherwise people from the street could just stare in. I missed the natural light because of that.

FD Hotels, is one of the best places, if you want to travel Rotterdam on a good value for money budget. The hotel is located directly in witte de withstraat, a road that never sleeps and offers a great amount of bars and entertainment. I would rate the location a solid 10 since you are very close to the mallstreets, the markthal, the trainstation/Metro and both bridges. The hotel features great service, with physical and digital entry cards. A very comfortable bed and an amazing shower. The soap smells very nice. The layout of the room was very well and they made it all fit together perfectly. The staff was very friendly. I had no problems checking in or out. I was always offered service and overall I am very happy with the service I got for my money. The cleaning lady is the sweetest woman ever, she offered to clean my room and make my bed every day and when I was not in the hotel, I was always very happy to come back to a clean room and made bed. The staff also speaks very good english, and the conversations were always very easy going. Overall I would rate this hotel a solid and well deserved 10. It is amazing value and I ended up staying almost 2 weeks in comparison to my planned 5 days. Thank you very much, I am more than happy :)
