Room was clean and comfortable. The location is beautiful and plenty of nature walks. Hotel was very quiet, and had lots of outdoor seating. Decent parking area, with lots of space. Bathroom was nice and spacious with a good size shower, with a rainfall shower head. Good value for money, and room was cleaned during stay. 20-30 minutes from the beach & Den Haag.

Few amenities could be added in the room such as a towel rack in the bathroom, mini fridge and air con. Check-in was quick, but we weren’t given much information about the hotel, or the bar/restaurant. Construction outside the hotel, made noise around 10:30am. Tv wouldn’t connect to wifi, had to use phone hot spot. No English Breakfast tea, just Earl Grey.

Although the hotel was difficult to find in the first instance due to indistinct signage, and even our satnav struggled to find the place; the hotel is located conveniently for buses to Delft and The Hague, etc. The car parking is excellent and all the staff who served us during our 6 nights there were friendly and polite. Everywhere was very cean and tidy, and the bed was comfortable.

Although a good size, the bedroom was rather soulless with a bright white central light and a very poor bedside light. Better lighting and a picture or two on the walls would give the room a much more friendly vibe. Very disappointed not to have tea/coffee facilities in the room. To be honest, I'd rather pay a couple more Euros a night and have a kettle and some tea bags/coffee sachets. The breakfasts at 15 Euros each were adequate and, again, the staff were very friendly, but it would have been nice to have some fresh fruit on offer.

The biggest advantage is the location in the middle of the park. Peace and quiet. The hotel and the room itself are clean. The service is nice and smiling. Very good hotel restaurant with substantial meals. In front of the hotel there are small attractions for children and an ice rink in the winter.

The room was poorly lit. The mattress in the bed was very soft with visible dents which caused me back pain the next day. The situation with the payment was also strange, as after payment it did not appear in the hotel system as it should normally be.

The location in the park is lovely, lots of bird song, and great ambiance in the brasserie at the weekend. It is convenient to get to the tram, to get into the city centre. We stayed here to go to parkrun at Zuiderpark - which is really easy to get to on foot from the hotel. The brasserie menu is good.

The bed wasn't too comfy, the mattress was a little thin, and meant that if you were sharing a double bed - you roll towards each other into the centre of the bed. The breakfast option is very expensive for what is on offer.

The location inside a park is wonderful. The hotel really is more a pleasant brasserie that also has rooms. While the a la carte breakfast has limited options, I really enjoyed having something freshly prepared, without having to venture out. You can look up the brasserie's menu online.

I had a spacious room for a very reasonable price. At a higher price I would have liked to see a nicer sitting area.

LOCATION

RIGID ON CHECK IN TIME AFTER I MADE A REQUEST FOR ADJUSTMENT. ON ARRIVAL AFTER I TRAVELLED ALL NIGHT THERE WAS NO ONE TO EVEN TALK TO. ON THE SECOND DAY A LADY WHO I GATHERED IS A SISTER TO THE MANAGER OR SON TO THE PROPRIETOR BEING A FAMILY OWNED BUSINESS SOUGHT TO KNOW WHETHER I HAD PAID THE BILL WHILST I WAS ON THE GROUNDS . IT WAS NOT POLITE

location in park/forest was excellent. Very peaceful. The outside seating area was a very pleasant place to sit in the good weather as it is protected on 2 sides by the hotel and on the other 2 sides by trees. Plenty of parking. The complimentary fudge provided with the coffee. My daughter kept ordering more coffee just to get the fudge. The train station for getting into The Hague is located approximately 1 km from the hotel. Plenty of reasonably priced eateries about the same distance away.

The entry to the en-suite was through 2 wardrobe doors one of which needs re-hanging as it jammed on the ceiling preventing it from being fully opened.

The staff not attentive certain things like the blinds were broken not fixed the safe didn’t work we had to ask again and again for coffee and tea sparce facilities in room only kettle we had to ask for cups no fridge The breakfast which we chose not to eat was very sparce

The room was big and nice. The bathroom and the shower spacious and clean. There was a in-room safe.

There was no abat-jour and no way to turn off and on the light from bed. The shower is a big empty room, so spacious, but without any door and the jet of the water was weak. No kettle in the room, no way to make a cup of coffee or tea, no water, no fridge and no wardrobe to hang clothes.

Setting in a wooded area, away from traffic. Lovely grounds and plenty of outdoor seating. Restaurant food is very good. Good play area for children. Generous size room Spa Bath. Comfy bed. Short walk to local shops and tramline.

As other reviewers have said- walls are very thin, the glass door has opaque glass, not see-through. Guests letting bedroom doors slam.
